All late about it but I feel you. I always feel like this with every story I write.

This happens so often with me but I try not to give up. A lot of my fans who subscribe are the reason for me finishing a fic. Even if the ending is rubbish, I still do try to at least provide one. I might add an author's note saying this isn't the true ending and I will one day go back to change it but you know, things happen and some things never turn out the way you want it to.

Just keep fighting and you'll start winning! :D

Happens to me constantly lol. It's why it takes me so long to update, and also why I have like 100000+ stories I work on at once. 8D Don't force your muse; you'll hate it. You might still hate everything you end up writing (I do). Try changing your setting up a little bit, if you can. Listen to some music, change your lighting, change the time of day you write (I have to write at like 1~3am or I'm constantly being bothered by relatives), try to change your word processor (Google Docs with Stylish+Dark Drive is amazingly helpful to me), read some AUs for inspiration, try adding a new character's POV, throw in a shocking scene to give yourself a new direction, or just change the time its taking place in the story (go forwards in time, or do a flashback). It'll be a little easier and you won't have to abandon the story. :) Good luck!! ♥ Keep writing, keep trying, don't give up!

Having readers commenting and telling me they like my stories is the easiest way I find motivation to continue on. I would give up on most stories if I didn't have any feedback part-way through.

It's called Writers block

Ahahaha i've got lots of draft. I think it's better not to force it? Reread it and think for some more ideas/inspiration for the mean time. Because there are times that you would end up not liking the outcome because you rush it.

I totally understand wat u meant. U really wanna write something, u have something in mind, try to write but halfway u jus cannot carry on. I think u jus need time and when the inspiration comes, u get the excitement that u wont want to give up. Its like romance. So probably u just haven thought of that perfect plot yet. Take your time and relax, one day u will be able to do it:-)

You take a breath for a while. Have fun with other stuff. Then, go back to what inspired you to write a certain story. I read some fanfics of my biases too and another thing, I always read comments from my subbies. They really do motivate me to continue. :)

I usually have many ideas running on my mind, but when it comes to writing it, I ... So, writing is not my forte after all. I always admire all those writers (fanfic specifically) who have so many ideas and imagination and are able to put them into words/stories.
Maybe writing block just happens to writers all the time. Just keep calm and relax... *hugs*

Meeeeee XD

how do i finish a story without wanting to give up?
Well that's a difficult question!

I want to finish my story but sometimes i lose the focus of the story. At first i will plan everything and write it on the note, but when i want to write it on my story, i tend to ignore what i have written on the note XD so yeah... The story keeps going out of the topic XD

I don't have any solution T^T because i have the same problem T^T

Whenever I lose my inspiration or reason why I wrote something, I go back to what the story is about and find a song or show related to it and get my inspiration from watching and listening.
Hope this advise helps. Just relax and don't give up.
