ELABORATION —
• welcome to the mind of hae misuk and i hope that you will enjoy your stay. when you at first see misuk you feel this warmth coming from her (and it's not just her body heat). she surrounds hershelf with an aura of sunshine that makes her easy to approach. she is the hot choco with marshmellows on a cold day. she is sincerely interested in what you have to say and how you're feeling. she makes time for the people around them and usually puts them first even before herself. but she doesn't forget to treat herself from time to time. misuk isn't the one to judge people of their appearance or her first impression of you. her motto is "the first thought that comes into your head when you see them is the thing you are excpected to think and the second thought is your own" she knows that she can be wrong sometimes and that people other than her can be right too.
she is open to different people and their opinions on life and accepts that. because come on. if everyone thought, liked and were the same then the world would be really boring. did misuk say that she will do something? then you sure as heck knows that she's gonna do it. she likes to be someone you can be able to depend on if you need help or just a chocolate bar from the convenience store. she has the courage to say something when it upsets her or when what they are saying is wrong. she's not a pushover basically even though some people might think that. oh cheesus... when this little peanut wants something in life. there's no stopping here. she wants an A in math she will sure do it. her dreams are small but big in her world. wanting to be a baker and own her own cafe that puts smiles on peoples faces, is a bit hard and looked down on in a world of geniuses but no mountain is too high for little misuk
• but no human is perfect right? and hae misuk is no exception. she is extremely impatient and wants things to happen really fast. if you say that you will meet her at six a clock at the movie theater for example so shall you be there at six a clock. not one minute past six. she also hates waiting for a lot of things. food, test results and people. let's play with the thought that you are late, expect to get ignored by grumpy cat misuk for at least fifthteen minutes. why just fifthteen minutes you ask? well that comes hand in hand that she is very easy to trick and fool. the bus was late you say? oh don't worry about it. when you actually forgot the time. as these jokes may seem harmless it's easy for her to get into a dangerous situation. one night when she was walking home from one of her late french classes she encountered a man who said that he had lost his phone and he asked if he could borrow hers. being the one that misuk is she roamed through her bag to look for her phone and the man then took the opportunity to push her towards the ground and snatch her bag away.
let's just say that misuk never saw that bag again. like many geniuses before her misuk is a perfectionist. wanting no more than being perfect and everything she does to be perfect as well. let's take that math test as an example. If she gets less than a perfect score on the test, she will feel motivated to do it again and better next time but the feeling of shame will linger. misuk often has the feeling that she isn't enough and gets ashamed when she can't fulfill the people around hers expections. it's probably there the trait of being a perfectionist comes from. everything has to look it's absolute best. like when she's baking for example, if she's making cupcakes and the frosting gets just a little bit wrong she will not let anyone eat it because it's not perfect enough. we've talked about how misuk is a warm person but we didn't say anything how awkward misuk is when speaking to strangers or in beginning a conversation. she can often want to say something to a person but it's not coming out of and when it finally does it's a strange mumble, rambling or in a really loud voice. even though she is with close friends she has a really hard time starting a conversation. "will they want to talk about this?" "no,no they will think i'm weird" these are thoughts that often circulates in misuk's mind. she really prefers someone who can start a convo with her.

BACKGROUND + CURRENT EVENTS —
• do you want to join me in a trip to the past? let's go then! hae misuk is the third child in a family of five. she's got one older brother and one older sister. she was born into a hardworking family where her dad is a ceo of a big hospital in seoul and her mother is a doctor at said hospital. her family is a rather usual busy family with loving relationships. she was born in oska, japan as both her parents were doctors at time and worked in japan. when misuk was four years old her dad decided that it was time to go to korea again as he wanted to start up his own hospital there, so they moved to south korea and misuk has lived there ever since. (if we don't count the long summer trips to france and japan). misuk being the youngest in the family was often told when she was younger that she didn't have to worry about anything. her older sibilings would take care of the hospital so there was no need in misuk to excel at something like medicine or business, her siblings would take care of it anyway. being told that many times made misuk feel ashamed of herself. wasn't she enough to take care of anything in the family business? at 10 years of age deciding that she wouldn't be a burden on her family and make her family proud by studying as hard as she can. it was around that time she started to visit her uncle at his cafe/bakery to study after school and help with the baking if help was needed. she realised her passion for baking and seeing peoples happy faces when they bought the baked goods. now she had a bit of a problem. should she study as hard as she could and become a doctor like her mother or become a baker like her uncle? but hey, who said you couldn't do both?
following her siblings footsteps she enrolled at uijeonbu godeunghakgyo to study and plan out her future. she goes to school five days a week but has french lessons on sunday mornings and japanese lessons after school on mondays. on the days were she doesn't have school and no homework to do she helps out at her uncle's bakery. what is her role at school then? the genie of course! she loves making people's wishes come true and suprise them on their birthday. when someone in her grade has their birthday she will know about it before and bake something that the said person likes and give them a little present. because everything is great when you see someone smile. she's pretty known around school and has people to sit with at lunch and people to talkt to between the classes but she has a hard time getting real long time friends for some reason. but she has a few people she can talk and be with more than others. one of these human beings that she really likes to talk to is min ahri. she doesn't have to start a conversation with her as she starts it herself and they have really enjoyable conversations about everything in life.
RELATIONSHIPS — only describe those relevant to the story bc istg i do not want you doing extra work for my story
• lunch buddies - min ahri (16) - 3rd year - a childish kind human being with a teaspoon of lion like possessiveness - ahri is probably the person in the whole school that misuk eats lunch with the most. the lunch table is never filled with awkward silences when they sit togheter talking about everything from love life to why the sky decided to be blue and not pink of all colors. although ahri is one year younger than misuk it's nothing that really shows.'
• awkward silence / aquaintances - min yoongi (18) - 4th year - the kind sleepy human who is laid back and calm - honestly yoongi and misuk haven't talked that much. there were times when misuk happily sat next to yoongi at lunch when ahri wasn't there, only to fill the air with awkward silences. no of them knowing what to say.
• partners incrime birthdays - jung hoseok (18) - 4th year - a really funny and playful teen boy - hoseok is someone who always can make misuk smile. whenever misuk is sad for whatever reason he will be there to lift her up. he is the one guy at school that likes to join in on her birthday missions. he is usually the one who sings happy birthday in a funny voice as misuk gives the baked goods and present to the brithday human.
• secretly fangirling / know of each other - kim namjoon (18) - 4th year - a cool hardworking and intelligent idol - let's be honest here. misuk is a big fan of namjoon's music and kind of squels inside when she sees him in the halls. she've never dared to talk to him though to it remains as a simple fangirl-idol relationship.
• i saw you in class and yeah hi? - park jimin (17) - 3rd year - that flirty guy with a heart decorated with a golden color - jimin and misuk has a few classes together and once did assignment and misuk was suprised with jimin's smarts. the say hi to each other when they meet and misuk said that she will always be there to talk if jimin needed someone.
• seat buddies in the back - kim taehyung (17) - 3rd year - an actual ailen with a kind and helpful heart - misuk and taehyung are seat buddies and is really good friends. at first misuk was a bit jealous about taehyung being the best in their grade but he offered to help her and they somehow became good friends. taehyungs explainations are more alien talk then actual explainations but misuk likes them anyway.
• baker and customer - kim seokjin (18) - 4th year - this motherly figure who knows he's extremely good looking - seokjin is a regular at misuk's uncle's bakery and they know each other from there. they share baking tips and gossip like two old ladies.
• family friend - jeon jungkook (16) - 3rd year - he's a bit awkward but kind noneless - misuk's father is a good friend of his father and they have met a lot of times before school in friend dinners that ends with them sitting in the room of either jungkook or misuk, drinking alco-free champange and complaining how weird these dinners end with their parents ignoring them to talk about old memories. and talking about life in general.
