growing up jaesung and his siblings helped his parents look after the store (at age 10), thus jaesung developed social and working skills at an early age. when his parents heard that he wanted to study in music, they strongly supported him and even joked that his songs would be play in their stores during open hours.
in the meantime jaesung's love for music grew as he worked and listened to the music in his parents' shops. at first it was curiousity but later he started to write his own lyrics and created sound through non-musical materials like chopsticks, pots and pans, and even shoes on the surface of wood tiles.
while trying to get his music major at the eastern school of art in seoul, jaesung auditioned for loen and undergo a trainee contract with the agency at age 19.
Personality
Is it true that pain is beauty? on the bright side jaesung is cool, controlled, empathic, introverted, and rational. because he is rational and does not talk a lot, people first impression of him would be that he's cool and easygoing. jaesung is also in control of his emotions and actions, he acts at an accelerating pace but does it with caution and careful calculations. he's also empathic thus can relate to others on a certain level, does he does not simply poke fun at another.
on the "dark" side he's aloof, critical, indecisive, unforgiving, and could be considered a two face. though jaesung is rational and empathical, he could also be critical and aloof. if he's uninterested in something he would show no interest to it nor care to know what it is about. for example he's not into vampire-related love stories so he would not show any interest in books, dramas, or films related to a vampire romance theme. jaesung may work fast but he cannot make group decision. meaning if there's a party to plan he'd be a party follower and not a party planner. jaesung also tends to hold grudge, even if he tolerate his wrongdoings, he won't accept them and would often try to retaliate or try to find fault in the one who pointed out his errors.
