Sooyoung is a very caring girl once she forms a bond with you, you really have to do something stupid for it to break. She's usually the big sister to her friends giving them advice, helping them out with their problems doing anything she can, Soo Young can get a little irratable when arrogant people are around but she is very well spoken so she always comes back with a snappy remarks. Some people have told her that she's self centered...even her own mother! of course Sooyoung isn't completely ingulfed in her looks but she does think she looks good and isn't ashamed to admit, whats wrong with loving yourself for you? She can sometimes say things very bluntly but knows how to control it, when it comes to her friends she doesn't hold back her opinions though. Well... theres isn't much to say about Sooyoung, she was borin in Hongdae by her parents as an only child. She had always liked performing since she was young , she would joke sing and dance around school with her friends. She even made her own little "girl group" that performed alot at school talent shows. she wasn't the most popular girl at school and making a "girl group" at school didn't help that but, she didn't need to be. Sooyoung really started to admire Idols in 8th grade, the cool music videos, beautiful makeup, awesome dance moves and being able to meet other celebrites really intrigued her and made her want to pursue that career path, she thought even if she didn't become an idol she could always try acting.
In her freshmen year of highschool her friends encouraged her to tryout for KARA's idol project, she was very skeptical at first, her parents never really understood her liking of idols and just thought their daughter liked to perform but not that she would put enough effort to actually pursue it. After she went to the audtiton and learn that she got accepted she literally almost died of excitement, she was finally gonna get a chance to do what she had been dreaming of.
