Today, the most unexpected happened.
Today, the most unexpected and unfortunate happened.
I got ran over by a car. I was crossing the street when I got hit by a car. For the very first time I was involved in an accident. I'm grateful though that the driver was able to maneuvre the car that my body wasn't hit that hard, but the wheel ran over my right foot. But, I guess with the help of my guardian angel or what, there was no fracture. It terribly hurts and I can't use my right foot at the moment.
I was extremely scared when I felt the pain on my right foot. Being on the medical field, you'll immediately think of scenarios that happened or can happen.
The driver didn't leave me and was kind enough to pay for all the expenses.
I was supposed to go on a vacation (camping, hiking and swimming) on the 20th. It will be the first vacation that I'll have after 6 years? So I'm really sad and disappointed.
I'm on pain reliever and I was given one week of day off from work to recover.
My co-workers and I talked yesterday about how careful I am in crossing the street because I can't be involved in an accident because my blood type is AB+, in which only a few people have. Then, this happened.
I really want to recover soon because my job is important to me. I honestly feel happy when I'm at work because my co-workers are kind.
So, please be safe always because you can never tell what'll happen.
I hope your day is better than mine.

Edit:
I was crossing the street towards my workplace when this happened. Fortunately, I work in a hospital.
I tried to sleep but the moment that I was hit keeps on replaying on my head. I am now traumatized with cars and crossing the street.
I'm at home resting. I need not be confined in a hospital.
Most importantly, I posted this to tell everyone to take care always because life really is unpredictable. I was on my way to work, then bam.
Thank you for all the well wishes. I appreciate them. Thank you.
