AP Human Geography or Nah??

    So I'm gonna be a freshman next year and I need some advice... ;-;

    The courses they're offering me for History are:

World History

AP World History

Geography

AP Geography

AP Human Geography (College class)

    I've narrowed my choices down to either AP Geography or AP Human Geography, but it's a hard decision to make. What's better for college? Will I have time to write? Will it collide with my band and tennis schedules?

    At first, I was thinking about trying the College course, but I talked to the AP Geography teacher today and it seems like his work is enough. Also, I'd have to stay in that class for a whole 6 weeks before I could move, risking failure and my good history records...

    On the other hand, I'm definitely smart enough and I could handle the pressure of a college-level class. I can take the notes they expect me to, study, and do all of the work. Time is the problem though, I'm going to be in band and tennis and I just can't handle a packed schedule for school or I'll have a neverending load of anxiety (comes with my depression) with no time for my friends...

Are there any college or high school students that can help me understand and choose?

i'm taking ap human geography next year combined with an ap seminar !!

i don't know if they do this at your school, but if you manage to pass any ap class you take, you won't have to take that course in college. and if you pass enough ap classes, you'll go into college as a sophomore instead of a freshman !!

from what my teachers have told me, ap is the course to follow. ap is a higher performance/intelligence level than college classes depending on the teacher and criteria. an ap class is sort of like taking a sophomore college class while being a freshman in high school. you really get a lot out of ap;; ap teaches you how to actually function above college level requirements and such.

it's completely up to you !! i'm taking so many ap classes sophomore year, so if you decide to take ap, we can suffer together lol !!
