What is this? Did you know that AFF is celebrating its 7th year of being up and running? Every year we have thought of ways to commemorate this special date by doing various activities.
With that being said, this year we have decided to make it all about you with these 45 questions, interview with yourself, survey, quiz—whichever you wanted to call it haha.
Why are we doing 45 Questions? Because... it's fun. Don't question.
Our theme for this year is the freesia, when given on the 7th Anniversary it upholds trust and faithfulness within a bond. The freesia is also a symbol of friendship. It was named freesia after Friedrich H. T. Freese by fellow botanist Christian P. Ecklon, as a tribute to their friendship.
This day marks seven years of trust, faithfulness and friendship with the site, it's creator and the community. As a thank you to all participants, we leave you with a thank you message from the creator of AFF himself.

I don't really have much to say (I rarely do) but I decided to do this for fun (and because I really don't want to do my assignment). Hope you get some sort of amusement out of my rambling.

I've come accross AFF before but I became a regular since 2011.

I was looking for a place to upload and read fanfics. It was by complete accident I found this site.

I was originally just a reader but I really wanted to write too so I went ahead and made an account.

It was a Doojoon one, I think. I cannot for the life of my remember the name though.

Four on this one, but I have a total of 18, not including unpublished drafts. All stories on my other acconut have since been put on draft because some of them are unfinished and that account is mostly inactive..

Some times the tag blocks don't work for me?? I feel like it's only happening to me, because I haven't seen other people talk about it. I'll search 'angst' for example and still get tags with 'exo' which I have blocked and that irks me. :/

I sometimes come across stories in a foreign language. It would be awesome to have a drop-down menu or similar to select a language when uploading a story. And when you search in the tags or something, you can select to read stories only in a certain language. :)

I can't really say specifically, but I'm grateful to all those writers with stories that allow me to think, reflect, cry, fangirl and love. I love reading stories that make me clutch my heart in ache and make me laugh, leave me speechless and wanting more.
25. If you could introduce just one feature on AFF, what would it be and why?
I sometimes come across stories in a foreign language. It would be awesome to have a drop-down menu or similar to select a language when uploading a story. And when you search in the tags or something, you can select to read stories only in a certain language. :)

I'd also like to thank all those users who comment on my works and leave feedback and those who kept me motivated! And everyone who interacts with everyone else in the community for providing me with a different perspective on things and letting me into their world and allowing me to get to know them. :)

Mainly changes of the artists/OTPs I read about. I also socialise here a lot more, I check out blog posts and discussions, something I didn't do in the past.
40. There are many communities now on AFF (such as the writing, designing, coding, applyfic, roleplay, reader communities). Is there a community that you aren't part of but want to try one time?
I want to try an applyfic but I have noooo idea how to do so.
41. What is the best thing AFF or being a member of AFF taught you?
Patience, knowing that there's always more than one perspective about things, knowing that people share the same personal issues as me.
42. What is your greatest contribution to the site so far?
I don't think I contribute all that much actually.
