I haven't posted a blog post in a very long time (hell, I barely update my fics, I'm sorry) but I think this needs to stop.

As the title describes itself, ship wars.

Obviously enough, I'm a big fan of BTS. I've been stanning on them since their predebut era (although not so early in the predebut era, I started around 1-2 month/months before their debut) . I've witnessed many things happening since those times, and one of them is the ships.

The ship getting the spotlight first (on twitter at least) as I remember was vjin. I remember they used to upload many selcas together that people started to ship them. Debuting and growing, the ship sank and many other ships started to sail. The whole point of this is that, nowadays there are ships for everyone with everyone, and yes, that is completely fine. Although I'm a big Jikook trash, I do ship Yoonmin, Sugakookie, Vkook, Vmin, etc.

Until recently, I hadn't discovered that a ship war is happening. I thought the fandom was very friendly with each other, very kind and everyone is open minded for other ships. Whenever my friend from the Kuroko No Basket fandom and the Ansatsu Kyousu fandom is talking about ship wars and how minor ships are getting bullied and discriminated, I always thought What a mean fandom. Poor people. Why is there even a serious talk in ships that aren't even official? Those stupid people in the fandom are the main problem, that's what should just get out or shut their ing mouths up. Thank God the kpop fandom isn't that bad.

However

Just recently I met some people trough facebook, they're fellow cosplayers and they happen to like BTS as well. We made a line group chat and we became close. We talked about our otps and wow, wasn't I surprised a few days later. 

This one person said that her otp was Yoonmin. I was completely ok with that. She also said that her least favorite member was actually Jimin for some reason. I was also ok with that. But man, wasn't I surprised when I saw her status mocking on Jikook and saying " Jikook and their shipper" or that's the best way to translate it to English since she said it in Indonesian. 

Alright maybe I'm exaggerating about this if it was just about that.

Since I was a little shocked by her status, I decided to look around twitter and facebook about bangtan, and what I found are the main reason for me to talk about this seriously.

On a quite big twitter account (idk if they really are but at least they have quite an amount of followers), an actual war was happening. Not directly, but I saw two twitter accounts talking crap about how accounts are posting their otps that happened to be their notp.

Now, I never thought the thing about ships would get this serious. Liking one ship and disliking another is normal, I also have ships that I happen to dislike (ex: Ken x Hyuk, Ken x Hongbin) but putting down and bullying other ships and their shippers? That's ed up.

And as I remember just now actually 2 of my friends are doing that ship bullying thing. One from twitter and one from facebook. Sigh

For this thing I'm gonna straighten it up by posting the bitter facts that will destroy all of your delusion

1. Your oppas are not confirmed as gay

2. Your ships are not confirmed to be real by the idols 

3. Your ships are never official

4. Your ships are mostly just part of your delusion

5. Your ships aren't going anywhere by crushing other ships

6. Bullying is never right

7. Bullying other ships is an embarrassing and childish act 

8. The more you bully the worse your ship's name gets

I guess that's it for now. I also wanted to talk about how some fans were like "NO KISSING SCENE PLEASE" when they heard about V starring in Hwarang but I guess I'll keep that for now as it's not a serious problem and I'm probably just a sensitive .
