I've just seen this too. It's cute but I was wondering what it was too.

I'm curious as to why he is there too. If you use your arrow keys (or W,A,S,D keys, either works) the dog moves, but as cute as he is, it seems peculiar to me to have a dog just randomly walking around when you press keys. So unless it's a delayed April 1st feature (like how Pacman was available on Google Maps a while ago for April 1st), I'm going to be quietly concerned.
