First of all in kpop there are soooooo many girl groups with innocent concept. I grouped some of them in these collage, because first they would have been so many of them that there wouldn't have been enough space to post each picture of them. Now, it's not like I hate innocent/fairy concept, or the groups that does it. On the contrary, I looove when a girl group pull it off perfectly like Gfriend, Apink, Snsd or Oh My Girl.

And I also love girl groups that pull off greatly y/mature concept, like Sistar, EXID, Miss A, Girl's Day, BEG and Dalshabet without ending up being vulgar stripers like some groups out there.

 Infact these days I'm seeing only y/mature or innocent/fairy-like concept. Or worse, just ballads. I feel so bored, empty and also sad because of the ballads. I mean at the beginning they're really beautiful, like Lee Hi's Breathe, but after awhile, I just avoid them. I thought Winner, 4Minute and T-ara would have came back with powerful songs, with sick rap in them, but I just got mellow stuff form the boys, weird track from 4Minute and again retro music from the 90' from T-ara. Not a single song like Sugar Free. Sigh.

I just want to see and listen to more girl groups like 2NE1.

I know koreans like more the innocent&y concepts, but 2NE1 risked and debuted anyway with the badass-swag concept, and they became the most famous girl group in kpop. It's true that it's difficult to make it if you come from a small agency, but I think that Gfriend and EXID are the example that luck is a big turning point in girl groups career but also great songs are important. Yang Hyun Suk let 2NE1 debut with that kind of concept because he was sure of them and their talents. Plus the natural charisma and unforgetable songs really made the difference. Girl groups can only risk with different stuff when they established, I know that, but untill now, not many girl groups risked much. I saw BEG, SNSD and 4Minute risk with thier latest comebacks. BEG with Warm Hole, Girls Generation with You Think, 4Minute with Hate. Other then them I didn't hear of any other girl group with risky title tracks. Well there have been Red Velvet with One Of These Nights, a real strange song that I didn't understand honestly, but I can understand their struggle to find their color, since they still aren't popular with the common people but only within kpop fans.

Anyway I'd like to see more girl groups like 2NE1 since my bias are in hiatus. There were group like A.kor(before the scandal) and Sonamoo with that kind of concept, but they suddenly disapeared and now I have no one to listen to. Sigh. Is it so difficult to do a concept like 2NE1 and make it big in SK?
