It as all hell to advertise, even when you optimise your techniques and all because you know no one's gonna look at it, and if anything, you'll get reported. I can easily do as many adverts as an advert shop does, or at least, close to it, but knowing how my adverts don't go anywhere, getting an advert shop to do it wouldn't work and would be a waste of my precious karma that I save up to change my username ;; When you're unknown, even if you know people will hate you, for some things, you have to advertise to start them up and keep them active, like Roleplay Communities.
