I'm going to list my fav Korean actors and notes, I don't watch many Kdrama. Anyway, hope this helps...
1. Yoochun...Park Yoochun from TVXQ/JYJ hahahahahaha xD - suitable for everything, he can be a sadist if u like hardcore thing, playboy, helpless romantic boyfriend, casanova, police/ detective, funny role, anyone (well, I'm probably biased).
2. Cha Seungwon (my forever elder generation actor) - badass role, seriously a villain, really cruel but having inner struggle? I LOVE HIS ROLE IN ATHENA, DAMN HE KILLS IT...I WATCH BECAUSE OF HIM AND CHANGMINNIE (sorry again, biased)
3. Choi Seunghyun/ TOP from Big Bang - more like serious role and involving deep emotion, or maybe with hidden inner craziness/ cuteness/ silliness.
4. Shim Changmin from TVXQ - Mischievous role, smartass role, brain type role or more like food type (again biased).
5. Bonus - if you're looking for Western actor, I can suggest: Benedict Cumberbatch, Mads Mikkelsen, Jeremy Renner, Misha Collins, Chris Pine, Bradley James, and too many to mention...
