I feel like I've been living under a rock - I've only heard of this amazing artist called G.SOUL ten minutes ago (before writing this blogpost).

But who is he?

G.SOUL (born as Kim Jihyun in 1988) is an American singer of Korean descent signed under JYP Entertainment, the same agency housing miss A, 2PM and the Wonder Girls. He's doing r'n'b, soul and electronica and called "R.Kelly's protege" for their similar vocals. He was training for 15 years(!!!) before debuting as G.SOUL and guys, I'm blown away.

I was looking for some kind of heavily electronica-inspired Kpop artist after f(x)'s latest deep house masterpiece "4 Walls" (the whole album is genius by the way) and I've finally found it! I have G.SOUL's "Crazy" on repeat now... And he's even doing r'n'b! Has smooth, perfect r'n'b voice~ I'm a huge fan of r'n'b in general (especially like Ne-Yo) so I feel like I've hit the jackpot with finally getting to know about him. /can't handle the feels/

If I know right, he's debuted last year (maybe?) but see how underrated he is? If I miss out on that Ronnie Icon video I've been living in misery longer. Let's give G.SOUL some love, people. He's really-really amazing.
