Hey there sparkles~

 

I know that you guys notice my lack of updates, and I hope you guys understand. Well, things are going well in my outside life, I guess? My mind is still too preoccupied with how I did in school, if ever I'll move up from junior high or repeat my current year because of my ty performance at school. Not only that, I think that my friends hate me now for a really deep and personal reason. Yes I may look like a really emotional and sensitive person (even though I am) but I'll just masquerade that with a small smile for a while. I don't really wanna burden anyone with my negative thoughts about the future and such...

 

Anyways, I really made this post not to spread my sad cells to other happy people out there but to spazz about CROSS GENE.

 

So okay, how do I do this? Let me start with how I was blown away by their latest single and just the fact that my bias dyed his hair blonde which made him even hotter than I expected him to be. They literally blew me out of my seat with me being so unprepared about it.

 

Okay, I know CROSS GENE since two years back, I guess? I just know to myself that they're a multilingual group from Korea (Shin, Sangmin, Yongseok and Seyong), China (Casper) and Japan (Takuya) and that my bias there would be a cutiepie named Shin Wonho. I haven't really paid attention to them because my mind was too focused on either GOT7 or BOYFRIEND. Yes, I'm a BESTFRIEND and iGOT7.

 

Then there came this time of day, two years after I knew the group, that I ended up listening to their comeback song with no high expectations whatsoever. At first I had no idea what to expect because come on, I haven't heard anything about these boys since I last read about them. So yes, when "La la la la la~!" blasted against my eardrums thanks to the earphones that I was wearing, my world went spiralling down the toilet because how could I have neglected myself of such amazing-ness coming from these six angels? Seriously, how could I just go on with my life without thoroughly knowing these boys?

 

Along with that I came to know certain trivias about them, like how Takuya was a part of the Korean drama The Lovers, how they changed their fandom name to Destiny, and how I ended up being so broken, wasted and once again broken because their comeback song hit me like a freight train and once again I was unprepared for such vicious attack. Also, I knew that one of their members, their maknae J.G specifically, left CROSS GENE to pursue a solo career and in came Seyong as a replacement. But come on, it's his choice in life so we don't really have a choice but just respect his decision.

 

I actually remembered about these boys when I recalled all other ships that I have in different KPOP groups, other than my main bias groups that is, and I remembered that I shipped Takuya and Shin before (thanks to a fanfic that I read on WATTPAD) and I actually wrote a fanfic about them. It's cliche crap so you guys don't really have to read my embarrassing story. A thing led to another and I finally decided to look up CROSS GENE, and man was I shocked and blown away.

 

My first impression on this group would be they'll be a typical boygroup filled with either hot guys who can't sing or talented ugly people. But yes, CROSS GENE have hot and talented people, but what caught me in their grip would be their quirkiness and how they make working in the KPOP industry so entertaining and fun all at once.

Okay, I don't wanna spoil you guys (come on, it's just three minutes of your time so you can't just go and expect me to tell you how the MV went) but the entire MV made me crack up in laughter. They were just so cute to watch and there were certain scenes in the MV that made me laugh, like cackle in laughter. Also, the plot twist of the entire message of the MV. Wanna know what I'm talking about? Just watch it for yourself dear, you'll know.

 

[SPOILER ALERT: SHIN JUST INTERACTED WITH THE FEMALE LEAD IN THE MV AND I HAVEN'T BEEN SO WORKED UP WITH THAT IN MY LIFE. I MEAN YEAH I KNOW SHIN WONHO'S A CUTE FLUFFY BALL OF SUNSHINE THAT IS SOMETIMES QUIET AND MYSTERIOUS BUT BRUH, HE'S MY PROPERTY AND YOU SHOULD STAY AWAY IF YOU STILL WANT YOUR BODY IN ONE PIECE /cue evil laugh]

 

Just kiddin I'd never hurt anyone, I just feel even more sad knowing that GIRLS CAN TOUCH MY FREAKING BIAS WHILE I JUST LIE DOWN MY BED LIKE A SACK OF POTATOES AS I WATCH THEM- but seriously the MV's great so you should watch it.

 

Okay, judging by the entire blog post that I made, you can probably say that I like CROSS GENE and I would probably stalk- uh I mean follow them to their road to stardom. I hope they have a stronger fanbase with this comeback and recruit more fans in their fancafe because these boys have potential and they're lovable too? /smiles.
