Sprout bookmarks

I followed polymomotea's Super Easy Plant Sprout Bookmark tutorial :3 I'm going to make a couple more until I'm satisfied. The "easy" ones are always the most difficult for me. orz. Bending the wire into a spiral takes so much time >_< and then they look wonky in the end haha!

Mini ducks

I only need one for my tita's gift. She loves ducks. Collects anything duck. I'm supposed to make a duck earphone plug but I couldn't get it right >_< Huff. Huff. Huff. Another "easy" project >_>

This is the chosen duck:

I'll place it in a miniature pond tonight when it's cooler.

Colored pages

A couple more colored pages from Johanna Basford's Lost Ocean...

I colored them while listening to podcasts.

EXO'S Black Pearl was playing in my head while I colored this ship. Haha! I'll fill in the bg once I get a fixative for my soft pastels.

Just playing around with these fishies, testing which colors go well together.

So happy with these crabbies turned out. But then got lazy to fill in the fishies.

Also love how my first jellyfish turned out. HAHA! I used my favorite or my go-to colors in it that it took me a long while this morning to decide on which ones to use for the border. (Not a fan of yellow-orange palettes ^^)

It's funny too that Ptr. Rick was saying something about perfection which leads to procrastination and eventually, paralysis. Gah. Lightning struck. Those are the very things I am struggling with. I combat it with action. I just go ahead and do it. If it doesn't look good, I'll erase it and do it again. So I picked out the first colors I saw and started coloring.

I know what I said in the previous blogs. I know. ugh >_> I was able to write down parts 2 and 4 of that Valentine oneshot. At this rate, it would be a White Day oneshot. LOL. For some odd reason, the words vanish the moment I open the notepad orz. 

I think I mentioned this before, but aside from an outline or a scene list, I also visualize the scene first and narrate the story in my head before typing it down.

But lately, whenever I start putting down the words... they just go *poof*! It's frustrating because it's been a long while since I finished anything >_<

Sigh.

I'm gonna make that miniature pond tonight, do more coloring...
