Appearance ♦ Sunmi has a lean body like a cat. She built a healthy muscle on her upper body; she said it was because of years of training hanging in a high building with the tip of her fingers.
The Soul
Traits ♦
+ Adaptive; risk-taker; enthusiast; generally nice; whimsical
- Socially inept; poor impulse control; considered somewhat psychopatic due to her inappropriate emotional responses; has difficulty recognizing and understanding emotional states in herself and others; sometimes can be morally ambiguous

Personality ♦
Sunmi is the team's wild card, since no one knows what she will do. She often disappears in the middle of mission to take a different direction from what she's been commanded to. Though in the end she  finds a quicker way to attain her objections most of the time, those habits annoy her teammates since her way doesn't always include safer. She also has proven at times to have a ruthless, sadistic streak, or to be slightly psychopatic as she only grins every time the combat team choking or beating up someone. she always seems unfazed at the sight of violence and seems rather enjoying it. But on the other hand, there are moments where she seems like an innocent child who just hatched from her shell. She gets excited and she often skips her steps in jolly manner. If people see that quality in other person, it might seem harmless and cute. But when it's associated with Sunmi, most of them would think that it's scary since they knew the psychopatic side of hers.

Sunmi has very, very, very poor social skills. She's socially inept to the point she under -or sometimes, over- compensates her emotional responses every so often. She can be very enthusiastic about what she loves and what she's good at; she can't keep it bottled up because it's so cool. But don't get her wrong, she's not reckless whatsoever. Her work is the neatest among other thief... or mapper that everyone ever knew. Some of the team suspect that she has adhd or borderline asperger, but their suspicion has never been proved, not that they mind it anyway. She also can be oblivious about many basic things like emotions and feelings. she genuinely has no idea how to put her emotions into words, which every so often makes her ends up saying incoherent and nonsense things, thus making her teammates confuse most of the time.
She's genuinely clueless how to react at many social triggers around her; she often asks with genuinely curious face, "What is the proper reaction to that?"

If there was one trope that could cover most of her complex persona, that would be Heroic Comedic Sociopath.

Trivia ♦
• She's very resourceful; she can adapt mere-households items into weapon or tools. Like, she can use a match and an aerosol can to make a flamethrower. And she knows how to build a nitrommanite bomb by using fertilizer, a plant bark, and a drip or two of acid (she was a fan of Macgyver).
• In her spare time, Sunmi learns the schematics and security of banks. By now, she knows the exact details of every security of every bank in seoul. If anyone asked her why, she'd answer it's for precaution if one day the organization is giving up on her and throwing her away. No one could tell whether she was joking or not.
• She has an obsession with chocolate and sweets. One of the team member once brought her to a chocolate festival and when they got back, Sunmi turned into some giddy schoolgirl and acted like a stereotypical child having been given too much sugary treats. People said bringing her to that place was like sending a crack addict to coccaine convention.
• She hates camera. Old habit dies hard. As a thief, camera was her nightmare and that phobia is still lingering until now.
• She still believes in Santa.
• She regularly visits Ilsoon at prison and only to him she admits that doing good still feels so weird for her.
• She once pulled a heist with Ilsoon at National Museum only using chewing gums and tin foils... yes, they were that bad-.
• She doesn't feel ashamed of her past as a criminal. She's proud to say that she was a thief who was on the wanted list of nation's security agency. She never meant to brag, but whenever anyone asked her, she would gladly tell them about the heists she has done.

• She doesn't care about her diet. She eats cereal most of the time. And junk food.
• Sunmi is an adrenaline junkie. She loves sneaking out from the headquarter to a nearby skyscrapper and doing basejumping there. Sometimes she uses this unlikely hobby of hers as an alternative way out whenever she's cornered in a mission. She befriends Jookyung because of this reason.
The Blacksmiths
Background ♦ Sunmi didn't have silver-spoon in as a child. She was put into foster system at a very young age and regularly sent to different foster homes; which meant she rarely had interaction with children from her age. When she was seven or eight, her life as a thief began as she started stealing toys or cookie jars from the other kids; it was the only way she knew to get what she wanted. At the age of fourteen, she received a lesson how to boost a car from an older kid from the street and became a getaway driver. She was caught at her third thievery and served for 6 months in juvi. And after she was released, Sunmi met a master thief named Jang Ilsoon when she attempted to steal his wallet at the age of fifteen. Ilsoon recognized her potential and put her under his wings. He trained her as his apprentice thief, ultimately helping her to become very skilled in all sorts of thievery.

Sunmi considered Ilsoon as her pseudo father even though Ilsoon himself had a family who thought his job was an accountant. Ilsoon couldn't give her a real home and family like a real daughter because of this, but Ilsoon cared about her. He often regretted that he couldn't offer her to be his real family, but Sunmi said it was okay and told him that she wouldn't fit in anyway; it was leaving both of them content with their positions. Breaking banks, stealing gems and paintings, and collecting artifacts were their ways to bond and they became and ultimate team that was wanted by all of the nation's security agencies. So when Ilsoon was caught by the authorities when she was eighteen, Sunmi was emotionally broken as Ilsoon begged to them to not drag her into jail with him. The authorities suspected that she was an En and contacted the Academy. After through some test and was proven to be positive as an En and they saw a potential within her, Sunmi was "forced" to enroll at Johak Academy and being re-trained as a spy to put her talent in a good use.

Family ♦
Jang Ilsoon | 54 | Ex-master thief | He is Sunmi's former mentor slash pseudo father slash ex-master thief. He also was Sunmi's carer after her attempt to pickpocket him. Ilsoon cares for her even after he was put in jail. But sometimes he seems hesitated and concerned about her aligning with the government because he simply doesn't trust them. However his hesitation dissipated as he realized how much she has changed after years and he congratulates her on making her own "family" that he never been able to give her. To this day, he calls Sunmi "kiddo" and Sunmi calls him "sir".

Friends ♦
Sharp plotline | tba | Sniper | They are partners. They respect each other. Even though the sharp plotline is often annoyed with her unpredictable behavior, among other members, he trusts her the most (he would never say this out loud though). Sometimes he feels like babysitting a five years old each time Sunmi's sugar rush kicked in.

Vague plotline | tba | Police officer | They share an unlikely relationship. Vague was the one who responded at the police report about a suspected En in their raid to a conman's hiding, and that suspect was Sunmi. Vague was the one who took her in. Though she is fed up with Sunmi's antics most of the time, she genuinely cares for her and always looks out for her. Sunmi appreciates her concern although she doesn't know how to show it; she buys her bags of candies most of the time.

Soon Jookyung | 24 | Scout | They share same hobby at challenging their adrenaline. Sunmi likes to ask Jookyung to go basejumping with her on their day off, but Jookyung turns her down every so often. She's not sure why, maybe Jookyung doesn't like her, but maybe he just doesn't like people in general, that was what Sunmi thought. But they are in a pretty good terms in general. She respects him, and the same goes otherwise.

Others ♦
Cho Kyuhyun | 27 | Information broker | He is famous among the underground people. He's not a criminal though, but he stands in the grey area. He provides any kind of informations to the highest bidder, from the national exam's questions to the prime minister's daily schedule. Where he got the informations from remains a mystery. He has a very jolly and mocking personality, speaking informally with most people as if they are close friends and often using mock-nicknames. Sunmi hates this guys very much... okay, hate is an understatement. She abhors him. She hates his manipulating and arrogant nature. Sunmi once used his service when she was about to steal a vault from Korea's #1 billionaire and she swore she would never see him again after that. But fate tells her otherwise. They still stumble upon each other almost on weekly basis. He said it's just a coincidence, but Sunmi doesn't buy that.
The Resume
Plotline ♦ Direction
Species ♦ En
Elaboration of Occupation ♦ Mapper // She is the GPS of the team. Her job also includes opening a safe way for the rest of the team to attain each of their objections; whether it's to find a clear but secure place for the Sniper to sit tight with his firearms and wait for the target into his fire range, or to find the location of the main server for the hacker. Making an exit route and an alternative way out are also her job. When she's not on mission, the higher up of the academy assigned her to be the assistant librarian to "teach" her how to suppress her restlessness.

Appointment ♦ The Vague took her in after the authorities contacted the academy about a suspected En who was in cahoot with a conman that was just arrested.
Task ♦ #5734
Spy Name + Zodiac Mark ♦ Cat Sith + Aquarius (the mark is behind her left ear)
Other Skills ♦

• Master thief : Sunmi can instinctively case any buildings she sees; her spatial intelligence is very remarkble. She can be as stealth as a cat and she can infiltrate a building without getting caught by the security or the cameras. Sunmi is also very skilled at pickpocketing, lock-picking, and disappearing like a genie. No door she ain't got to open, no diamonds she ain't got to touch, and no eyes she ain't got to deceive, she said.

• Self-proclaimed excellent driver : Sunmi was also a car thief in the past. Her experience as a getaway driver is proven to be useful in the field as she is often chosen to be the driver whenever the team needs to lose a tail or to catch up in a car chase. The other members refuse to acknowledge her self-acclaimed title though, since she drives like a maniac and give the passengers a heart attack with her bat-crazy driving technique. She's able to boost a 15 years old sedan to 145 mph.

• Firearms : Though her level is far from the Sniper, she's pretty good at holding her gun although she prefers to not use weapon at her mission. However, she always brings her smith and wesson 9mm for her own safety. But since she has to work stealthily, she uses a taser that she always has on her waist most of the time or every so often, she prefers using her brass knuckles.

Power ♦ Vibration and adrenaline rush : Sunmi can emit a vibration through her body and sense the echo to pinpoint location of an object. Her vibration can through any kind of medium, gas, air, even solid. When she tries hard, she could create a resonance and speed up molecules to the extent they combust or melt. She still finds a hard time to make a precise combustion, though. Sunmi can only control it when it comes to an object with same frequency molecules (read: metalic object). But she rarely uses her power to do this. She uses it mostly to support her job as a navigator.

She also has an unlikely ability to enhanced her awareness because of the adrenaline rush. She can't control this power though. It only appears when she's in danger. The ability makes her able to dodge bullet and seeing her surroundings in slow motion. But each time this ability of hers appears, she would end up in exhaustion and pass out every so often.
The Interest
Character Name ♦ Kim Junmyeon
Back-up ♦ Sharp plotline... or Jookyung (maybe?)
Occupation ♦ Criminal investigator
Species  ♦ Human
Traits ♦  Lawfully good, rigid, courageous
Personality ♦ Junmyeon has three things to protect at any cost: The honor of his team, the safety of the city, and the integrity of his badge. He is strict but fair with his colleagues although his "follow the book" approach has sometimes put him in conflict with those working under him. But he  trusts his team and has repeatedly defended them from unfair criticism by the bureaucracy. Junmyeon is a workaholic and is frequently working late into the night, after all the staff and his team have gone home.

Junmyeon believes that committing a crime is never justifiable regardless of the circumstances. If a criminal told him that he committed crime for the sake of his dying mother, he would walk away with unfazed expression and only turned around to say, "If you have a message, write your congressman." He believes in following the evidence, not trusting to intuition. He looks at a crime scene (and often the world) with Veneziano’s theory of quantum physics in mind: Everything is connected.

First Meeting ♦ Junmyeon was a third grade detective when he accompanied his supervisor to raid the hidings of Jang Ilsoon, the wanted thief. He was genuinely surprised when he saw a young girl named Sunmi to be his accomplice. And he was totally against it when his supervisor contacted Johak Academy when they suspected her as an En. Junmyeon thought all criminal should get the same treatment, no matter they're an En or a human. And he was beyond furious when the academy tresspassed their jurisdiction and took in the En girl to their headquarter. Junmyeon gathered an information about her and since then, he took her under his watch-list. He swore he wouldn't hold back if she ever slipped out and turned back to the dark side.

Present ♦ Junmyeon was deliberately frustrated when he knew that the girl he put under his watch list became one of the top notch spy from the agency. Their meetings were inevitable and he couldn't do anything to avoid it since he led his own investigation team right now. He still put his guard up against Sunmi even though the subject completely ignored his superior presence every so often; not because she hated him, but because she is Sunmi. She acted normal around him (and always greets him loudly with really nonchalant and carefree attitude), adding more frustration to Junmyeon since she was so clueless. Junmyeon couldn't stand her eccentric nature and all he wanted to do whenever she stated her inappropriate response toward a social trigger was sealing with duct-tape.

Ending ♦ At the end, Junmyeon became used to her presence although he wouldn't admit it. He often asked the team --subsconciously, of course-- about her whereabouts if she didn't present at an investigation. Her eccentric behavior started growing under his skin and he became softer because of it. When he realized about it, he didn't like it a bit, but he couldn't fight it. But since Sunmi was really, really, really oblivious about this kind of emotion, she only considered Junmyeon as one of her precious allies who needed to be treasured. (But if you want to tweak it and make them got together somehow, you could take the reign, author-nim!)
The Interview
"Hi, introduce yourself?" (sits uncomfortably) I'm Sunmi. I'm the mapper of this team.

"What do you feel of the crew in general?" They're cool, I guess. A bit off, but they're cool.

"Who is the most likeable teammate?" (shrug) I want to say the Sniper or the Vague, but Jookyung is not so bad either. He doesn't give a about what I'm doing... or does he?

"Who is the least likeable teammate?" (grin) Me, probably. I mean, that's what I thought. I'm not saying that I'm the most hated... God, I hope not. But well, what can I say? I'm an ex-criminal, I'm not the easiest person to deal with, and I smirk like a maniac... what? You don't think that I realized it? (grin) I do realize it, but I choose to ignore it most of the time.

"You had any specific goals?" To live life to the fullest. And to get a large wad of non-sequentially number cash from Santa.

"What do you feel about your powers in general?" It. Is. So. Cool! I mean, come on. If only I realized my power sooner, imagine what I could do with it. I could steal all the world's precious artifacts with the snap of my fingers! ...oh, hypothetically speaking, of course.

"Last question! If you go to lunch, which food do you take in?" Cereal, probably. Or pizza.
The Call
Scene requests ♦
• Maybe a scene where Sunmi states her (crazy) idea to get the team out of a building without getting caught by the hundred of security cameras. I think she would say something like, "I got it. The furnace room. There wouldn't be any sensors because it's too hot. We can crawl straight down along the heating pipes until we reach the sewage system. Ha ha *proud clap*." And the other would respond with deadpanned face, "It's 65 degree celsius down there, Sun." And after a slight awkward pause, Sunmi would answer, "...well, an average human can withstand that for... what, twenty-seven seconds."

• Sunmi get excited at the worst timing ever, like when they're about to infiltrate the most sophisticately secured building. "Look! They have the brand new T-840 security system! I've only seen those things in books. And the motion detectors-- ooh, gorgeous! And six digital receptors! Six!"

• Jookyung and Sunmi's conversation. Which often goes like this :
Sunmi ; I don't think I'm being strange enough.
Jookyung : I doubt that.
or maybe like,
Jookyung : Okay, listen. You can climb up a mountain right?
Sunmi : Pssh. I climb skyscrappers. You can walk up a mountain.
Jookyung : *deadpanned* Are there avalanches on skyscrappers?
Sunmi : Well, no. But that would be so cool!

• Maybe there would be a mission where the team forces Sunmi to reconcile with Kyuhyun because they need his help? She's the only one who ever made a contact with him after all.

• Sunmi gets panicked when the Sniper got hurt. Or maybe the Sniper gets panicked when Sunmi got hurt, or kidnapped... or dead haha, jk. But it's okay if you want to kill Sunmi for the sake of the story :D :D :D
