jinnie the pooh :: jinhyeon grew up watching winnie the pooh and he still loves the show to this day. winnie the pooh is his love.
bean sprout :: despite him not being very tall, his legs are the longest part of his body and he's just so skinny and lean. he looks like a bean sprout.
princess :: this is more of an insult than a real nickname. mingyu began to call him this because jinhyeon wouldn't have with him, sort of like a princess who was saving herself for her true prince. most people think the nickname was because jinhyeon takes a long time in the bathroom each morning and he sleeps with lots of pillows and blankets. he honestly doesn't hate this nicknam per say, only when mingyu used it. to be very honest, he sort of wishes deep down someone would call him this lovingly.
noodle :: goes along with bean sprout, he is so skinny and small. just like a noodle.
jin :: a simple shortening of his name, most of the members call him this to make him feel more comfortable with them.

⌈ appearance ⌋ jinhyeon is still young boy so his body still holds a slight feminine figure from his childhood days. anybody with eyes can see how skinny the boy is, especially if they ever catch him with his shirt off. his skin is fair and smooth, never having any problems with ance like most teenagers. he knows he's pale, but sometimes his skin takes on a sickly hue and fading bruises are always found on his skin. because of his pale skin, his cutting scars can only be seen in direct light and upclose. these scars are placed on his upper arms and inner thighs, deeming his wrists too easy for others to find them. though, the scars are getting easier to see because of all the cuts piled on top of the old scars. even with the aid of makeup, dark bags under his eyes are usually seen. he has both of his ears pierced once on each lobe. he has a noticeable dark ring of discolored skin around his neck. he does have another scar on his right knee from when he fell as a child, normally he wears a knee brace to cover the ugly scar. he hardly does anything with his hair, but it usually seems to style itself. normally, his hair is frizzy and curls when it's wet or when he wakes up in the mornings. it takes a while to straighten out the curls and frizz everyday, but jinhyeon is willing to do so because mingyu absolutely hates when his hair is curly.

jinhyeon owns a journal that he writes about his day, including all the things mingyu does to him. it's one of the few things that helps him stay sane under all of the abuse. no one is allowed to read it, seeing as it contains too much information.
he is an excellent makeup artist. how else does he hide his bruises so well?
owns a huge collecion of makeup products that range from etude to the american brands rosetta sends him.
jinhyeon doesn't had good eyesight, so he wears his contacts when he's told too and his glasses when contacts became just too much (they make his eyes itch after a long period of time).
extremely self-conscious of his body, thanks to mingyu.
anime is a self-indulgence of his. his favorite kind of anime is shoujo anime. his top five shoujo anime are sailor moon, shugo chara, kaleido star, pretear, and revoluntionary girl utena. do not mess with his shoujo anime.
has a mild case of ocd when it comes to cleanliness, whether it's his body or surroundings. he takes at least two showers a day along with literally scrubbing every inch of his body til his skin is raw and vibrant red. he just feels so dirty because of mingyu, so he doesn't want to get anybody else dirty.
rosetta convinced jinhyeon to get a pet to help with his anxiety. instead of getting a normal pet, he got a leopard gecko in which he named mango. he tells mango everything. during free days, he'll usually take her out of the tank and keep her on his shoulder. don't underestimate mango, she can still bite.
jinhyeon is a huge fan of exo's d.o and red velvet's joy. he would literally faint if he ever got to meet them in real life.
he owns most of red velvet's merchandise including their albums and stuff. he knows the lyrics and choreography to dumb dumb by heart and is usually heard humming the tune of the song everyday.
his favorite kdrama of all time is it's okay, it's love featuring his role model do kyungsoo. he dreams that one day he can sing a duet or act along side with him.

nam wonseok :: that one friend :: 17 :: student :: jinhyeon and wonseok are school friends, the only other friend he made that wasn't related to mingyu. wonseok is much different that jinhyeon, usually taking control of their conversations all the time. jinhyeon thinks of wonseok as another brother with the way wonseok cares for him at school. jinhyeon hasn't told wonseok about mingyu's abuse, but wonseok knows that jinhyeon is being abused because his older sister commited suicide when he was younger due to an abusive relationship. wonseok doesn't want to spook jinhyeon, so he tries to care for him in different ways...like using his ridiculous amounts of money to make sure jinhyeon eats.
