Back From My Holiday!

Hi guys! Omg it’s been like 11-12 days since I have really been online. I’m so happy to be back. as some of you know I have been on holidays to the pacific Islands; New Caledonia, Mystery Island, and Champagne Bay and Port Vila. We were meant to go to Lufu too, but we got sandwiched between 2 cyclones! And out boat sort of went right between the two escaping XD

How did it all go? Wonderful! The boat was reasonably small so I got to know where everything way pretty fast but it wasn’t cramped and there was so much to do. I won at bingo (few hundred!) so happy about that. Played in the casino! Learned to play Blackjack. It is such a fun and intense game. I loved it even though I lost most of it T^T I did put some winnings away but really it was all for fun. Spent nights in the hot tube watching movies on the big screen (whole tube to myself kekeke) and writing updates for you guys in a book. The trip inspired me to write a new book! So I will put that up soon!

The day trips were amazing. I didn’t really like New Caledonia. It has a lot of issues of oppression by the French government and the people are very bitter about it. And it just felt like it you were white you were hated and judged. Even the tour guide we had kind of made all 16 of us (my family) feel very uncomfortable and we just looked forward to leaving. We went to Escapade Island just off New Caledonia with the tour guide to snorkel. But no point. There was not many fish. But the water was warm so that was nice to swim around it. After we had a French lunch which wasn’t very nice. Don’t think it was worth what we paid which was over $2500 AU for the 16 of us -_-

Next was Champagne Bay. This was much much nicer! An island with a pretty beach. We went with taxi (a van by local!) to a blue lagoon and swam. The water was cold but it was so beautiful and once you got in it wasn’t bad. So many fish. I learned to dive while snorkelling and it was so deep! Wonderful! Would do it again in a heartbeat!  We then went to the markets. The only downside to the markets is almost every store sells the exact same thing! Some for cheaper price so it’s worth looking around because some places sell for $5 others $15 so checking around is good. After we went snorkelling at the beach. I went to the reef side and got tossed around by heavy waves caused by the cyclones. My legs are still shredded by the coral came out bleeding in like 9 places T^T wonderful!

The day after was port Vila. Now this was wonderful too. We got an awesome tour guide who fitted all 16 of us in a van (if you are going and want a tour guide PM me) took us to swim with turtles! We were lucky to arrive in time to see baby turtles 4 weeks old in an aquarium. We got to pet them then swim with the adult turtles. Then a blue hole (not all that great but okay) After we saw a village and had some local fruit. Loved with green grape fruit. Then we went to a beach club and had wood fire pizza! So good!!! And WIFI! <3 was able to see what’s on line XD then went to duty free shopping it wasn’t great either, just alcohol and cheap things. I got some alcohol that would have costed about $60+ AU only $27 AU yay! Then markets. Again all the same things from the other islands.

Wow that sounds fun. Even the bad parts sound great! I myself went on a holiday trip and it was great. There were some fightings and some bad things but they were really great experiences.

It seems like you had some intense trip. In Germany, they disrespect Americans. I'm glad that you had fun and those awful moments that sounds painful.
