appearance » Kwon Hyesu/Cindy currently stands at the average height of 166 cm, weighing in about 47 kg. When you first glance at her, she seems quite small and frail. You'd believe that if you touched her, her bones would snap. Nah, she's just natually thin; she eats a bunch of food to assure people that she is healthy. She may seem weak, but she is currently going to the gym and has hidden muscles and strength [abs (think of Produce 101's Somi's abs), leg muscle, nothing much]. Her hair is naturally jet black, and she has this odd mixture of wavy and straight hair. Some parts are wavy, others are straight; she usually uses a flat iron to fix out her hair to make her bed head look somewhat decent. One day, she wishes to dye her hair all sorts of colors; from brown, to blonde, to pink, blue, and rainbow even! Just something she'd like to try before she gets older and desides to stay true to her natual roots. Her eyes are the colour of the darkest chocolate; some say if you stare into them for too long it feels like you're swimming in a chocolate fountain. She has medium doe shaped eyes that turn into cresents when she smiles, a small button nose, and well...a mouth with lips. Loves wearing eyeliner because he believes it enhances her eyes. Besides all that, she has a small permnent bump located on the left side of her forehead from a concussion incident she's had when she was 6 years old. If you take closer look, you'll notice multiple faded scars and beauty marks (left by IV needles) located all over her body. Yeah, being a klutz equals fun times. Before I forget, Cindy isn't much of a fan of sharp items; therefore even if she wanted surgery, she wouldn't get it because what if they screw up? Yeah, she's happy with the way she is. The only part she dislikes is the fact that she tans fairly easily. Leaving her skin to be a shade or two darker then her members; it makes her insecure at times, but she'll grow to accept it one day. Overall, she has a youthful appearance, but she can look mature if she wanted to.

style » How Cindy dresses herself really depends on her mood. If she wants to just be comfy and casual, a pair of jeans and a tshirt / sweater it is. If she wants to look casual but cute, she'll throw on a skirt. If she's comfortable around you, you'll notice how bold she is with her body. As much as she likes looking cute, she also loves wearing crop tops and shorts, mini skirts, and dresses that show her nice long(ish) legs. For training, she wears something like this, this, or this. Her style is kind of all over the place; as long as she feels good in it, she'll wear it. Like one day, she'll come in wearing a mini skirt, white crop top, a pair of 3 inch heels and blazer to top it all off; and the next day she'll come in wearing sweat pants, a random shirt, and a pair of high tops. However, her agency wants her to have a more cute image, so she acts cute, and dresses a little less revealing for the press.

Cindy is quite shy when you first get to meet her. She doesn't really know what to do when she meets people for the first time; so the encounter can be quite awkward, but all you have to do is ease her out of her shell in order to get the comfortable stage of your relationship with her. When you are at said comfortable stage, you will meet the real Cindy that has been hiding under her shy persona. The real Cindy is a bit crazy; She jumps, sings, dances everywhere she goes. She's a bit loud in contrast of her shy persona. When you're really good friends with her she might take the liberty to embarrass you in public with her crazy antics. She doesn't mind the questioning looks of others, as long as she can put a smile on your face, she is happy and smiling. Being a benevolent person, she always tries to make her love ones feel better. She uses quite a bit of euphemism in her words, turning something harsh and downsizing it; in hopes to make the person feel better.

She means what she says, is quite straight-forward with her words and actions; when you get to know her at least, if you barely know her she will hold back her words. Even if she is shy, she'll do her best to let her crush know that she likes him...a lot. However, can be quite oblivious if said crush likes her back or not; he can try and try, but it will take a few tries before one of her close friends gets sick and tired of her oblivious nature and tells her, "Yo, your crush likes you back. So kiss him, be his girlfriend, oh my god." At moments like this, her smart- mouth comes out, "Riiight, yeah ok. And Leonardo DiCaprio was the first man on the moon, and has won 10 oscars." Oh, and she likes being babied at times; whiny when things go very badly for her. Example, someone scolds her, she will whine and say she can't help but be clumsy and use aegyo to make the person forgive her.

Now everything isn't all puppies, unicorns, and rainbows. Cindy is also a very sensitive person, one who wears her heart on her sleeves. Behind her shy barrier, between the hardworking vivacious girl, there is an emotional roller coaster. The unconfident girl who believes she is lacking when compared harshly to others; eventually her brick walls come crumbling down, as do tears from her eyes. This Cindy seeks comfort, ressurance that she is enough and perfect that way she is; she needs hugs and a shoulder to cry on. One of the main reasons why she almost dropped out from being a trainee is because she was compared to another trainee. She cried for hours on end, ready to quit, until the caring members that she knew today helped her pick up the pieces and continue on; this time slightly stronger than before.

Finally, she is up to learn new things. Whether it be instruments she's never heard of, languages, dances, songs, and cultures. The current day Cindy gives everything her best, even if there are many obstacles in the way, she knows she can make it through with the help of her members and those who love/care for her.

background » Hyesu grew up living a fairly simple and ordinary life. Kwon Hyesu Cindy was born the youngest in her family. On December 29 2000, she was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She continued on with her life in Canada until she was 10 years old, when her family had to move to South Korea for work. She enjoyed her life in Canada, all the memories she has made with her friends; this caused her to be reluctant about the move. She believed her life in Korea would be a 180 turn from her life in Canada due to it being on the otherside of the world. But was days, weeks, months, and years go by, she learns that different isn't so bad after all. Slowly she made new friends, and found a knew love of learning new things. There wasn't much of a language barrier since she had spoken korean at home with her family.

Okay, let's get into her love for musical instruments. At the young age of 5, Cindy was enrolled into taking guitar and piano lessons. Her parents believed it would be good for her to learn a musical instrument, that way she could make friends wit the students that also attended the lessons. Her instructor, along with her family soon found out that she had magic hands. The ability to learn and play even the hardest levels of songs rather quickly. Testing the waters to see if she could play other instruments just as well, they got her to try playing the drums, the violin, the flute, even the bagpipes (this one was annoying to everyone's ears due to the loud sound). By the age of 11, she was classified as a musical prodigy. At the age of 15 she had auditioned for School of Performing Arts (SOPA), and was later enrolled. Is currently balancing idol life and school life.

trainee background » Hyesu has always had a passion for music, and when she was scouted by one of the Pledis' employees at the young age of 13, she was overjoyed. Entering the system, she was not prepared for the harsh training period of dancing hours on end, singing until was sore, and rapping until there was no saliva in . There were a few times when she felt like giving up, and that she would never debut, but pushed through all the hardships in the end with the help of her fellow trainees. Whenever she was stressed, she would go to the music room and play all sorts of instruments to relax.

personality » Has a flower boy type image, but behind that pretty face is a muscle pig; lift up his shirt and abs, roll his sleeves up and you are greeted with biceps. Some are shocked at how someone with such a gentleman-like nature can have something hidden beneath their shirt. Tries to act all cool and confident; that he's be able to hit on girls like a man and such, but in reality he is no more than a shy bean around females. If you were a girl and you complimented him, he would be all smiles and maybe even squeak from embarrassment b/c you thought his eye smile was cute (@5:00). Is ambitious, and does a lot to let the world know that he is more than just the cute maknae of his group. So he works out, and practices his singing a lot. Has very cringe-worthy aegyo (1 @1:10 | 2). When you really get to know him, he is a dork, a prankster, and troublemaker; one who likes to mess with his hyungs (1). But over all, he cares and loves his hyungs a lot.

first time meeting » It was an awkward, and very embarrassing first encountry for Cindy. Especially since it was with her ultimate bias, and crush, UP10TION's Xiao. Okay, know imagine you are just walking down the halls of a music boardcast station in search for the vending machines having absolutely no clue of as to where you were going since it was your first time there (you were debuting today); when suddenly you trip over thin air. Bracing yourself for the hard impact with the cold floor, you close you eyes tightly. Only to open them again in confusion because the impact never came. Looking up, you see your savior with the most concerned look in his eyes; he asks if you are alright as he helps you back on your feet. In a state of being starstruck, you try to answer but no words come up so instead you look like a gapping fish. Chuckling, your savior introduces himself, says he has to prepare for his stage, wishes you look luck on your debut, and waves goodbye. Pretty embarrassing right? Yeah, that's what happened to Cindy. When she snapped back into reality, she realized what just happened and scolds herself for not introducing herself to her crush; it would've been a glorious moment where he fell for her and everything. As she walks back to her waiting room, completely forgetting about the vending machines, only one fact flew out of her mind, forgotten. He wished her luck on her debut; he knew about her, he was her fan as she was his.

interaction » Their interactions are quite cute to watch from a third person viewpoint. From their viewpoint it's very shy and awkward at first; but as they get closer and know each other better their interactions become quite flirtatious. "I'm going to over step my boundaries so we can get to the comfortable stage sooner." Literal quote from Cindy to her crush during their 3rd encounter. The two are playful wit eachother, when they are lonely and bored and their members don't feel like hanging out with them they just hit eachother up and go on a little ~~date~~ outing together. Sometimes they get into petty arguments; over what foods to each, what rides to go on, etc. They will then pout and walk away from each other b/c they are mad; but then turn back around and make up and decide to do both. Very secretive of their relationship, only their members and company know. They text/facetime a lot, go on late night dates, if they go to amusment parks or somewhere in the daylight they make sure to wear disguises or go to places that aren't that popular or populated. Hugs, cuddles, small little pecks, butterfly kisses, omg.

relationship » In the future the two of them will probably want to go public, but not until they are ready for the impact that it would bring their group.Whether it be positive or negative, they decide to stick together. May break up at one point due to busy and conflicting schedules. When both groups get very popular they have less time to spend together, so they break up on a mutual agreement so they can focus on group activities. Of course, tears are still shed. When they break up however, they maintain their friendship and text every now and then to see how the other is doing. After a few months of being seperate they decide to meet up again to hang out; only for it to end in another confession because they both still like each other. This time they get back together for good, and live as happily as one can be with the media and fans all of them. The rest is for you to decide :)
