Miyoung has this cold aura around her at first, but in reality she is playful and mature.
most people see Miyoung in her natural state: that of an easygoing, laidback and hospitable girl aspiring to be a performer. she isn't necessarily extremely cheerful (she is cheerful, but not overly so), Despite her age, she is seen by many of her friends, acquaintances and close ones as someone who makes for a wonderful "mother-type", mainly due to the fact that she is quite caring towards others, even being older than other people, and her ability to see through people allows her to act based on how they feel. it is also because of these initial traits that she can be seen as quite wise.
Courteous to a fault, Miyoung shows respect to everyone she meets, calling them the proper honorifics and respecting their decisions and choices, but it has also made her indecisive, due to the fact that she wants to respect what others would want first before she decides on her own. but this also has its limitations: despite how she looks and acts on first (and despite her patience that takes a long while to run out), Miyoung also has a developed sense of independence that is untamable. because she only makes decisions out of her own volition when the time calls for it, she expects others to respect her decisions as she respects theirs, and if they don't, then her courteousness all but disappears and she tends to act on her own whims. selfish and stubborn if you will, but when people can't respect her they same way she respects them, then she only treats them the way she thinks they deserve to be treated. Honesty and loyalty are two values that she tries hard to maintain, and so also expects it from others. Miyoungs loyalty in others is rock-solid, as if she would go to the ends of the world and beyond for them, but it can make her blind on their faults at times. on the other spectrum, she doesn't like being lied to — she can take all the criticism in the world but making her believe in something false is a sin in her books. Miyoung always tells the truth to her parents and can’t lie to them since they have raised her well and it’s only fair, although she won’t tell twins what she thinks, just because they will , but it's still a given that loyalty for her equates to honesty and if she comes across a lie, she loses all sense of trust in a person. being laidback, Miyoung keeps her training in stride — she places a lot of effort when it's time to train but she doesn't when it's out of the schedule for the day — but she has a lot of unspoken passion about performing. she has a lot of potential for singing but she hardly recognizes her talents and even plays them off, which tends to make people set her lower then what she could possibly achieve. but when she is actually putting her heart and soul into what she is doing, she enters what could be called as a "zone": a bubble where the world and everything else doesn't exist, and it is just her and what she loves that is important. in this, she actually can even neglect herself until she drops dead tired on the floor. that is, however, a seldom's occurrence, which can actually shock people. her laidback atmosphere also contributes to her dissociative state — which allows her to lengthen her patience since she can block out negative situations and emotions until her limit has been reached.
Don't get mama bear mad, If someone or a fan messing with her members or family. She will lecture them and make them feel stupid. She When she feels stress or overwhelemed she’ll usually clean or cook something and not say anything about it. Background—
Kwon Miyoung born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. Her mother and father met in a culinary school and became lovers and soon, married. They both have their own restraints or bakery because her mom loves to cook. Miyoung was the first to be born, she was a happy baby, When she was 8 her OCD kicks in which was a bad habit. Her father and mom was worried about her habit. Her parents thought it was a good idea to get rid of the OCD so they put her in threapy. Her threapist told her to find an instrument and play, her father bought her a guitar in order to stop her habits and soon she finally relaxed and let everything almost slip by, but she maintains well. Miyoung finally got into music and would start humming melodies that she'll think of and soon she told her parents that music is now her life. When she was 10 her mom was pregant with boy twins which Miyoung was ecstatic to be a noona, she always loved when girls took care of boys, but she soon regret to be a noona. For example, when the twins were 9 they would always ask for money from Miyoung and she will give it to them since they had aeegyo that she can't refuse to. The three siblings are very close and personal. The twins are protective of Miyoung when she hangs out with people.
When Miyoung was 16 she entered junior high, she became popular because of her beauty, but she was always careful about guys around her. Miyoung attended to Seoul Performing Art school and had lear singing, dancing, and playing guitar. She had an okay voice, but she was shaky when it came to hitting high notes.
As she hit 18 the school had a talent show in her school and she decided to sing "Speak Now" Her family and friends were amazed how much she put emption to it. After the concert she was spotted by a SM representive and made her go through the audtion, she gladly accepted it. As she got into SM she felt out of place since girls wouldn't talk to her, but when she was in the recording room, she had SHINee Jonghyun join her for small talks and sing a few songs. They became close friends. She did a duet with Jonghyun live. SM has been telling her that she is to debut soon, but she got impatient and left SM at 21. She couldn't take it anymore. She decided to look for another company. She found a traning idol place called "high Ground" she didn't realize that it was under YG which shocked her because she was a YG stan. She got into High Ground and Tablo has worked with and he promised her she would debut soon. All the young trainees respected her and thought of her a mom.

Trainee Life— Miyoung felt alone, a lot of people disliked her cause she wanted everything to be perfect and had always spoke her mind, but she didn't bother making friends in the company even though there was one guy that did. Kim Jonghyun decided to befriend her since she was always in the recording room and he happened to stumble by her singing. Since they met they were best friends and he would help her with her vocals and would always listen to her.
