background : park hyoyeon was the result of love, love between park eunha and park minyuk. eunha and minyuk met in seoul, korea, during their college lives and had talked for quite a long while. despite minyuk majoring in business and eunha in nursing, the two had grown considerably close at a fast pace, and soon became lovers. the love from which hyoyeon was created of course was unprotected , causing eunha's parents to become very worried for their daughter once she told them, and eunha worried for minyuk's reaction to the news. but it was a surprise when minyuk took the news very well and had even asked eunha to marry him, even though he didn't have a ring on him at that time. after that, they'd decided to raise their baby girl in america where they'd thought it'd be easier to have a child.
moving to america had been a bit of a struggle for them, getting all the required doccuments and such ready, as well as attempting to find someplace to live, but they agreed that new york would be a good place since there were a lot of nice places to live- or so they thought.

when hyoyeon was born, eunha became a stay at home mother and took on the role of the stereotypical house wife, not really having a problem with it since she'd rther be at home taking care of her baby and raising her to be a good child than out and about working and leaving hyoyeon alone at home. minyuk had by that time gotten a job at a company and became a business man, bringing in a good amount of money and working very well. hyoyeon was raised in a house of love and learned at a young age that kindness was better than being rude, and so if anyone had been rude to her she'd only smile and walk away. she developed a love for music early on, due to her growing up in new york, she'd taken to hip hop culture very very quickly, and even though her parents didn't understand it, they knew it made their daughter happy and let her listen to it. she'd started rapping around the age of 9, showing off to her class mates how cool it was to be able to rap and everyone agreeing she'd had some talent for it, but it wasn't until she was around twelve that she really got into music and attempted singing, which went well for her as well.

TRAINEE life : training life for hyoyeon was much easier at jelly fish ent than it was at yg, them being a bit less strict and uptight when it came to how they taught, and it was very relieving to hyoyeon with that. she was placed in a girls only group, which she figured was probably just a thing that the company did differently than yg since both males and females trained in the same group there, but she was nice to the girls and the girls nice back to her, so everything was very smooth.
