Writing poems as well

Miles Away:

The snow crunched beneath her feet,

Her hair pulled back preventing her from slipping on sleat.

Wind charged towards her chest,

She wrapped herself with her arms, encouraging her mind that this was for the best.

She sniffled to the point were she could no more,

She paused as her legs became sore.

Her cheeks gained a crimson color and her nose had remained red, 

Looking up her lips lifted upwards, but instantly retreated back as tears began to shed,

There he was adjusting his jacket on the shoulders of the other girl,

He moved a strand of her hair and gave it a little twirl.

Hand in hand he warmed her up, 

As they drank hot cocoa from the same cup. 

The girl's tears force her to go back having nothing left to say, 

Her heart was still, miles away….
