Hello! I am from Australia :) I've lived in Darwin before and now I'm currently living in Melbourne. I also travelled to Sydney for a short time in 2012. Hope my answers will be of help.

1.)
-Blue Mountains
-Sydney Opera House
-Luna Park (Melbourne has the big one)
-Bondi Beach
-Melbourne CBD
-Victoria's Art Gallery
-Victoria's Art Precint
-St.Kilda District
-Kakadu National Park **
-Litchfield Waterfalls

2.) LOTS AND LOTS OF FISH AND CHIPS HAHA
-Pies (beek pies, quiche)
-Steak
-Seafood, grilled barra is a must

3.)
Australia day, definitely (WHICH IS TODAY BTW) but writing about this could be controversial as aborginals or native australians refer to it as 'Invasion day'

4.) From Melbourne to Darwin its for hours, Darwin to Sydney is 3 hour, and Melbourne to Sydney is an hour and a half (Flight)

Hope I helped xo

1. places that visitors must visit in Australia?
I live in Sydney so I'll reply with places to go in Sydney.
-CBD: The Central Business District is a busy area in the city center of Sydney and offers high quality shopping facilities as well as dining services.
-QVB: The Queen Victoria Building is an old, Victorian style building that houses many high end fashion brands and some of the good cafes in Sydney.
-Chinatown: As the name suggests, Chinatown is Chinatown. (Don't know how else to explain lmao)
-Circular Quay: This is one of the places in the city circle, and it is famous for the Sydney Opera House and many performances on the habourside. While you're there, make sure you also check out the harbourside shopping center which offers entertainment facilities (bowling alley, laser tag, arcade) and food and shopping; The Rocks, which is a quiet district for shopping and coffee drinking if you find the right places (it reminds me of France, even though I've never been lol. I guess it's the warmth and the decorations of the streets that make me feel that way?) Also, you have to check out Darling Harbour when you're there too.
-Taronga Zoo: basically the only (at least I think so) zoo in Sydney. Nothing much to say about this except that it's a zoo. (And also BTS went there hahaha)

2. foods and drinks?
There are many famous food places in Sydney. Waay too many to list so I'll suggest you to search it online or I'll provide some foodie websites and restaurant names below:
- chocolatesuze.com
- Adriano Zumbo Patisserie: famous dessert master Adriano's shops. They have their TV famous desserts such as his signature macarons (otherwise known as Zumbarons) and the V8 cake. Quite pricey, but worth the quality.
-Maybe just read chocolatesuze's website for good eats haha

3. events?
Hmm, the only events that I know are basically the New Years Eve fireworks at Darling Harbour. It's really festive and there's a lot of people every year!
