An apology...

I have been reading a lot of other fics recently for my own inspiration, and they have all made me realize that I am very incompetent in two areas of writing.

First of all, I can't paint a picture for my life. People consistently ask me what this or that setting is supposed to look like, and if you are one of these people, I want you to know that I don't blame you in the slightest bit. As an author, it is my duty to show you what is going on in my head. It isn't your responsibility to know what I mean, because I should be able to convey myself well. I haven't been doing my job correctly, and I promise, in my future updates, I will work on this.

Second, my points of view are crazy. All the authors I admire, both best-sellers and fanfic authors, do such an amazing job at distinguishing between two different points of view, whether they are distinctly separated by a line break or in the same paragraph. I tend to write in the style of the latter and I haven't been doing it well. I am very sorry about shifting so much in my POVs. I can't help it, and I really should take up the advice of writing just a big more, from one point view in each section, just so I don't lose my readers.

I really am sorry that I've been failing to do what I love to do correctly. I am in the process of changing my bad habits for future updates, so be patient as I relearn how to write in a way that everyone can enjoy.

Thank you, my dear supporters. Stay lovely.

Honestly, I think you should do it at your own pace. I mean, no one starts perfect. The reason why they might write the-most-perfect-fanfiction/story-ever is because they've had years of practice. It takes time to perfect something. Though I get where you're coming from. My writing isn't perfect & I'm well aware that I need to improve constantly, but I try & do it at my own pace, at my own terms. If I see something in some story, like a phrase or a word I don't know about, just something, I try to apply it to my own stories. That's how I learn & improve. So, really, don't worry much about it & try your best at improving. :) ((Also, don't compare your stories to others, especially best sellers, because that's really depressing & it kills motivation.))

Everyone has to learn in their own way, my dear. You shouldn't use the work of others to compare your progress because you will always find fault in yourself and your work. I've been there before and it kills creativity and motivation. Stay true to your craft and you will improve on your own terms. Everything is a learning experience. No need to apologize for that.

dont worry about anything! just do what you need to and try your best. if you think that you need to work on those things, then work on them! your writing skills will only ever improve and everyone will be looking forward to how youve changed in the near future. but also, dont compare yourself to others. if you think they write well, then so be it. how you write is how you express yourself, and you should never deviate from that. good luck with everything~
