Hi! Pandacakes here :)

Most of you who read this are probably readers of Your Highness (I assume), and I wanted to say something about it without having to add a chapter at the fic because it's such a bother to me and you so I made a blog post instead.

First, don't worry, this isn't some farewell blog or something. I abhor unfinished fics as much as most of you probably do so I'm really going to finish it (of course).

Soooo... The main point of this blog is that I just wanted to ask how the fic is going? And I want you to be really honest about it. Is the storyline too dragging? Is my writing obnoxious? Any honest sentiments about it :) I'll be really thankful if you tell me, so please :D

About me not updating on time, I'm really sorry. Last week was our enrollment week so I was really busy since I had to help my friends since I wanted to have the same schedule as them. The day aftter I promised to update, I had my teeth fixed so I was in no mood to move, or eat, or do anything. I hope you understand. I've also been upset about things lately, like the fic... I don't think I've been doing well. I don't know, it's just a feeling. You know those times when you feel there's this cavity in your chest you just can't seem to fill no matter what you do? Maybe I'm not satisfying you or something. So I'm just going to apologize ahead if any future updates are crappy.

I'm sorry too if this blog post notification was a bother. I hope you read everything through! :)

no absolutely not. YH is in no way dragging or progressing slow. There are certain fics that turn bland when extended or prolonged but this fic is just fine... i'm looking for a better word but i can't seem to find it but i think that it's just on time? am i still making sense? XD i mean, the type of story that YH is needs a somewhat steady progress what with both jongin and kyungsoo's personalities and the manner of which they met.

But honestly,i can't bear with the thought that this is gonna end haha but alas every great fic should end...

and its okay to feel sad or down and not be able to update fics on time, it happens and there may be a few that wouldn't understand but don't worry a lot of your readers would. And it's kinda hard not to be satisfied with how great this fic is. ;)

p.s. buti ka pa enrolled na T_T im still struggling with mine since i have to prerog /shivers

Hi there, my precious author-nim, pandacakes. I'm not that kind of type to read all blog post but when I saw ur name whoah I have to look at that. First of all I want to inform you that 'Your Highness' is one of kaisoo fics I love the most ♡ oh how I love that fic. Even if you haven't update for a long time I still clearly remember how the story goes. Really. Your Highness is a precious fic for me. So yeah don't ever feel that it was obnoxious! >< oh yes I have felt those feeling. When you felt something in ur chest and nothing change even if you thought anything elese. The thing is... yeah here we are to keep supporting you no matter what ♡♡♡♡♡
The fic is will be one of my faves and that would never change ♡♡♡♡ the plot is whoah! I love that kind of plot. I'm not lying one a bit for make you felt good really. Oh you could just tell by how much ppl subscribe to them! Hehehehehe I hope it will be got featured one day! Oh~~~ yesssss!!!

Hey there! To be honest i think your highness is already perfect as it is right now. It's not too dragging imo and your writing style definitely isn't obnoxious. I really love the way you write it, you're able to make it so sweet and cute, and believe me or not sometimes i would giggle and scream bc of your story. I really love their characters here, i couldn't hate anybody (except that who poisoned soo). Your writing style is fine, so please don't worry about it!
Although I wish the story would really focus on kaisoo bc sometimes i feel like hunhan stealing the spotlight (?) hahaha, im biased bc my otp is kaisoo :p
It's just i feel like there are so many things that can be explored from the main characters background; like Jongin's past, what exactly suho feels about soo bc tbh i feel this dude still has hots for Jongin's fiance. Also the wedding. How the palace and kaisoo's parents prepare for the wedding. When the wedding is going to take place etc. Would they hold the wedding when kaisoo are still in high school? Also would Jongin able to hold his urge to do more than kissing with soo before the marriage happen bc in this fic he's bold enough to sneak in soo's room and sleep with him, and he seems really want to do skinship with ksoo so much
Im eager to know all about that heheh.

Also don't worry about late update, you don't have to apologise for late update, bc we readers know writing block happens. Don't push your self to write just because you need to fulfil your duty as a chaptered ff'swriter, bc it would make writing becoming less fun for you. The writer needs to have fun too like the readers. And your blog post isn't a bother. Im glad you tell all of this instead of just bottling it inside. I hope your teeth are okay now and please don't be so hard on yourself. It's okay for not satisfying other people, live for your self first dear. Your own happiness should be number one in your priority list. Take care :)
