dress style: Jehwa isn't afraid to show off her near perfect body, but instead of doing this by wearing hardly any clothes and showing as much skin as possible, she'd rather wear alot of skin tight clothing that covers nearly her whole body. The reason she doesn't like to show skin is because she is a naturally very cold person, but also because she knows that it makes her all the more ier. Jehwa analyses every outfit she wears to make her look the best she can be, which usually includes leather pants or tights, and a skin tight turtle neck or long sleeve. In the summer months when it is really hot she will trade in the skinny jeans for thin tights and the turtle necks for thin t-shirts. She isn't into fancy brands or labels or what is in fashion and what's not, the only thing Jehwa cares about is what makes her look good and y.

stage personality — Jehwa belongs on the stage and her fans know it. She was practically born a performer, and she always gives her best to every performance, and never leaves anyone disappointed. She doesn't have to try to get along with the members she doesn't get along well with because she is a great actor, and no fans would ever figure out that Jehwa has some problems with her fellow members of Melody. On stage Jehwa tries to hide her weaknesses and only show her strengths.

strengths + weaknesses — Jehwa's strength is definitely more on the performance side of things than anything else. Ever since she was young, Jehwa has always been interested in the performing arts, and she took dancing and drama classes since she could remember. Despite taking singing lessons when she was younger, she figured it just wasn't for her (she is border-line horrible at singing) she was directed into rapping instead, and although her rap is nothing special, it is good enough and Jehwa is determined that her rapping will improove in her future.
trainee years + previous companies — She's been training for 6 years, and she's done the rounds of training under different comapanies too which were Starship, Pledis, and Bighit entertainment.
audition + trainee experience — Jehwa started off her pursue of the idol life by auditioning for SM Entertainment when she was 13 (international age), but was unsuccessful and got a lot of harsh words saying she was just a naive little girl whose only talent was dancing, but even that wouldn't save her vocals. A few months after she tried again, but this time going after another of the "Big 3", JYP Entertainment, and she also got her parents to bribe them with money, trying to buy their daughter into the entertainment industry, but even that didn't work. The staff at JYP were a lot nicer about saying no to Jehwa, but still had a similar opinion to SM, saying that she couldn't rely on her dancing or her money to get her in, and had to focus on improving her rap skills if she really wanted to get in.
Despite being put down, and wanting to get in a big company straight away, her mother told Jehwa that she should maybe apply for a 'poorer' entertainment company, because then maybe there would be more of a chance she got in. After doing a little bit of research she found a company called Pledis Entertainment, which had just started up two years prior, and probably needed all the money they could get. Anf it worked too. After paying a somewhat large sum, Jehwa was finally in, and that was all she needed. She trained at Pledis for about two years but her time there wasn't the best. Jehwa worked hard to improve her rapping skills while she was there, but that was basically it. As she watched her older fellow trainees reach their dreams of being an idol through After School, she knew that it would be a long time until they even considered her as being a part of a next generation line up, and so she knew she had to leave.
Just as she was about to leave Pledis for who knew where yet, she heard rumours of a collaboration girl group between Pledis and Fantagio, and so she made sure to put herself out there, and forced herself to improve her dancing rapping as well as she could, and sure enough, she was a part of the line up. She was so excited as this would be her time to debut finally after nearly three years, but a month from debut she was pulled out for unknown reasons (she was too young) and no amount of money could put her back in the line up.
By this time Jehwa had had enough, and in 2013 she had managed to get her way into Bighit entertainment on her pure talent, which just showed how much her rapping had improoved over the last three to four years at Pledis. Bighit was a great place for her where she made alot of friends with the other trainees there. They were all hard working and determined to become famous. While she was at Bighit she watched her friends Hoseok and Taehyung debut with BTS, and she couldn't be any more happier, but in 2014, she figured that although the people at Bighit were good and all that, it wasn't what she needed right now, and the company just wasn't right for her. And she got kicked out and also had one of the coaches there fired.
So her journey finally landed herself in Jellyfish Entertainment, where she stayed ever since. Jehwa was a bit of a lone wolf at Jellyfish, contrary to her bustling social life at Bighit, but she still kept in contact with them which was good. She was one of the best in her dance class, (if not the best), and her rapping was enough to scrape her through, although she still tried her hardest to get better and better, and the coaches there weren't too bad. And later than she would have liked, she found herself apart of the line up for Jellyfish Entertainment's new girl group Melody.
Jehwa knew that she had got her ticket to fame.

The reason she was kicked out of Bighit was because she was caught sleeping with the new vocal coach, and although it didn't cause a scandal at the time, the guy was fired none the less.

She was fat when she was a child. Yes this isn't really that major but she just doesn't want anyone to know about it. No one needs to know.

level of education — Graduated at SOPA and that was it. Jehwa put all her time and energy into becoming an idol after that.
feelings towards the hwayeon scandal and the aftermath — Jehwa wasn't particularly friends with Hwayeon, and she wasn't surprised at all to hear the news of the scandal because she knew all about, and the only shock and disappointment she felt was because poor Hwayeon got caught. She was too clumsy with covering things up, but Jehwa took this as a learning opportunity to teach herself to make sure she let nothing slip and didn't get caught doing anything wrong. She wasn't going to judge, because jehwa had done bad things too, and she was no hypocrite.

It is true that jealousy makes people do crazy things, and jealousy might be the only thing that would prevent Jehwa from achieving her ultimate goal for fame. It could possibly be her undoing.

For Song Jehwa, it's always "Me, me, me.... And did I forget to say me?" In her world she puts herself before anybody else, to the point that if someone she knew was dying in front of her, she would make sure that her makeup was in check before walking away to the nearest bathroom to fix herself up, completely forgettin what she was expected to deal with.
She is the perfect example of someone who will smile to your face but won't hesitate to stab a sharp knife in your back when you aren't looking. Even if it means lowering herself past points that others never thought where possible, she will do whatever she can to get where she wants to be. In those moments of pushing her way to the top, friends and family no longer bear the titles of those associated with loved ones, and everything but the line towards success is blurred and irrlevant. Anything that walks into that line will become another obstacle that she really doesn't consider an obstacle at all, but instead just a simple bump that she just needs to stand on to get to the other side a move ahead.
Although Jehwa and academics may not be the greatest of friends, she knows exactly how to get from one lilly pad to the next without the slightest hint of failure. Her wicked facade of a sweet smile may stay when someone attempts to sabotage her successes, but behind that she won't hesitate to make them pay, no matter what the cost. So if you do manage to do something that pisses her off (if you're able to tel, that is), don't go to her if you wake up the next morning without your hair, because she will easily convince you that "it's just life, isn't it?"
She has an extremely strong presence in every situation that is enhanced with her notable confidence, and won't back down from anything. Well, as long as it has something to do with her, of course. In those moments, including those that don't have anything to do with ehr, she manages to become the star of the show and the owner of the spotlight, to a point where all eyes must be focused on her at all eyes. When someone manages to take that away from her, sure she stays as confidant and radiant as ever, but something in side Jehwa yells, "Make them pay for taking that focus away from you."
Long story short, Jehwa is someone with the mindset of a person made to be famous, and nobody can take that away from her. She wil knock anybody to the ground with a sweet facade, and if you ever cross her, she will cut you down when you least expect it. She lives for attention and success, and anything less is absolute monstrosity in her eyes.

To put things in simple terms, Song Jehwa was born into the world of extreme wealth. Her father was the owner and CEO of Song Estates, a real estate company whose notable clients had shot the business into a multi million dollar franchise, whilst her mother was one of their most sought-after real estate agents.
Becoming the only child of parents that could afford anything in the world, she found herself in her own absolute paradise. Whatever she asked for, there was a 110% chance that at least one of her parents would get it for her, no matter how busy their schedules were that day. She demanded their attention whenever she could get it (and always knew how to get her way when she couldn't), and took their multimillionaire statuses as a sign that she could do whatever she wanted and get away with it.
From a very young age, Jehwa knew that she didn't want to invest her time in her parents' business. She didn't want to be stuck behind a desk for hours on end, only to watch the spirits of potential clients drop when the price of a house is completely out of their league (actually, Jehwa would absolutely love to see that happen on a daily basis and get paid six figures for it, but that wasn't enough to get her interested in the world of real estate). She wanted the world's spotlight focused on her in the only way she knew how - by becoming famous.
It isn't as if she didn't have the growing talents to launch herself into superstardom. She had convinced her parents to enroll her into a drama school and naturally became one with the acting world, and a talent in dance came from an interest in watching music shows on television. But getting to the top was what she aimed for, and using her parents wealth and her developing skills in the performing arts, it became almost a given that one day she would find her way of standing on the top of the mountain, looking down at all the skeletons that she stepped on to get there.
As she reached her pre-adolescent years, her performing arts talent became one with her. It became difficult to differentiate her acting persona from the real Jehwa, her dancing had crafted itself through dance classes, and she even began taking singing lessons from one of the top vocal coaches in the country. The singing lessons didn't help at all.
On her thirteenth birthday, Jehwa decided that it was now time to pursue her career in the arts, and thus began auditioning to a variety of well known entertainment companies... (continues in trainee history section)

» Photography. Jehwa really likes taking pictures of things she sees, and especially when she's in the picture. Although she loves taking selfies, she will also take pictures of beautiful landscapes.
» Playing the piano. Jehwa has had a talent for the piano ever since she was born, and although she taught herself, she is still very good at it. In her free time when she isn't busy with her schedule or scheming behind people's backs, she enjoys to take time out at the piano, even sometimes creating little peices or her own.
» Baking. She always shares her baking with others because over time she has mastered the skill of baking, and on people's birthdays she is always the first one to bake them a delicious chocolate cake, or any kind of cake really. Sometimes she will bake cookies for her group members when everyone is tired and sick of the diet, or she will offer her baking to someone as a (very fake) apology if they are mad with her. Because who can resist delicious baking?
» Exercising. Jehwa wants to have a beautiful body and keep in shape and she knows that hardcore dieting isn't going to do that, she needs to exercise her muscles to get the toned abs and everyone craves for. How else could she achieve her amazing body?

» The rain and storms. Whenever thunder is heard, Jehwa could laugh like a mad man with how much she loves the sound. During a storm is probably one of the only times where one could see the true Jehwa beneath all the acting and the lies. Her innocence comes out, and it is probably one of the only times people can see real love in her heart. Maybe it is just conincidence that all of her best and happiest memories happen in terrible weather, but she would still love it anyways.
» Mirrors. She could look into them all day if she wanted to, just admiring her physical features. Her love for them goes so far that it gets to the point where when many people will get frightened in a haunted houses "room of mirrors" where escape is nearly impossible and all you can see is your self, Jehwa is quite contrary as she will never want to leave a room where all she can see is her reflection.
» Playing games. If you ask Jehwa to play a game, she will be more than happy to oblige. Only because she knows that she will win. As always.
» Wearing heels. They make her taller than her already tall height, and they make her look better.
» Attention. I think this goes without saying anything.

» Swimming. Half the reason is because she actually can't swim, and she doesn't like being in deep water because it makes her feel vulnerable, and the other half is because she has to wear togs, and it shows off much more skin than necessary.
» Really nice and lovely people. They get on Jehwa's nerves because she thinks that they are just so fake and when she can't find any dirty secret that they are hiding, she gets super jealous because then it gets in her head that they are better than her and she needs to do something about it.
» People who talk over her. As stated plenty of times before, Jehwa needs the attention, and so she absolutely can't stand it when some talks over her, let alone not be paying attention to anything she is saying. All I'm saying is that if you are silly enough to speak over her, she will remember this forever until she gets back at you.
» Cheap make up products. They just aren't good and you can tell when they are on. Jehwa believes it makes people look unbelievably tacky.
» Breathing the same air of an imbecile. Even just being in the same room as someone she considers stupid is something unwanted by Jehwa. Even if she is only using them to get somewhere she wants to be she just can't believe how stupid people can actually be. She makes an effort to get out of the room without causing suspicion of why though. Usually with the old "I need to use the bathroom."

love interest one + personality — Jun Hyunjin + although Hyunjin seems a tad intimidating on the outside, and very strict like the teacher no one wants to have, he is actually a very kind and caring person on the inside. You just need to be able to break down his facade to be able to see the warm side of him.
how they met + relationship/interactions — Well their meeting was by no means an accident, although others would say it was. Ever since Jehwa knew there was going to be a new girl group debuting under Jellyfish Entertainment and that Hyunjin would be their manager, she made it her goal to be on his good side. And so she devised their first meeting.
She was waiting for Hyunjin to go to the bathroom, and she waited outside for a little bit until she walked in as if she was entering the ladies bathroom. Upon entering, a look of utter shock crossed her face as she saw Hyunjin washing his hands at the basin, before she bowed continuosly and apologising, backing out of the bathroom. Hyunjin had found this little run in quite awkward, but Jehwa knew thathe would only find it cute and about it later on in their soon to be 'relationship'.
The relationship between Jehwa and Hyunjin can eaily be described as a no strings attached, friends with benefits kind of relationship. Jehwa somehow found a way to break down his icy facade by being someone who isn't afraid of Hyunjin, and not complaining or raising an argument with him ever. And sooner rather than later, they became good friends, and Hyunjin began treating Jehwa as he might treat a younger sister.
Jehwa was more than happy with this relationship, with Hyunjin giving her alot of opportunities to do with her career, (especially in acting), and also giving her attention which she loves, and it was all perfect for her.
But when Hyunjin starts developing feelings for Jehwa, and seeing her as more than just a friend, well I guess she was still more than happy to oblige to any of his needs ;)
love interest two — Jung Taekwoon
how they met + relationship/interactions — Their first meeting was in the Jellyfish Entertainment. Jehwa thought it was a casual passing glance, but to Taekwoon, it was so much more. And just ask Hakyeon, he would know all about it from the many times Taekwoon has told him about it... About her.
It was just a passing in the hallway, Jehwa was on her way to a rapping lesson, and Taekwoon was heading out of the building altogether to go to his dorm. They met each others eyes for just a second, and Jehwa smiled sweetly at him, knowing exactly who he was, and Taekwoon stopped suddenly in his tracks as she continued to walk past him. He had instantly fallen for her smile, and he walked just a little faster back to the dorm we he would tell Hakyeon about every detail he had noticed about her.
From this moment onward, Taekwoon had become even more silent than he already is, too shy to speak as the majority of his thoughts occupied Jehwa as the main topic, and whenever he would see her, Taekwoon would tense for not even a second before he will become not very like him at all, and start speaking very loudly with the person nearest to him. He will also try to show off in front of her which is just absolutely adorable, and most of the time he ends up making a fool of himself and hide his face in Hakyeon's or another VIXX member's shoulder. Honestly he's just so adorable, and although Jehwa noticed that he had a major crush on him, or maybe even more, she pretended that she didn't notice so that she could see him get flustered all the time. She loved seeing the cool chic Leo turn into putty once she smiled at him, or when he would blush furiously when she gave him a suggestive wink.
Jehwa just had too much fun teasing him, and playing with his heart.
love story — Well with Hyunjin finally making a move on Jehwa in a more than just friendly way, and Taekwoon still stuttering like a baffoon whenever she talked to him, Jehwa was just having too much fun with it all. She knew she could use the both of them to get whatever she wanted, but when she begins to develop feelings for one of them (maybe even both? only if you feel like doing that though...) Jehwa honestly doesn't know what to think. It would probably be the firs time she has ever truly loved someone before. and it scares her just to think about it.
backup love interests — Cha Hakyeon, Jang Taejin
who do you want your character to end up with? — Their fate is up to you. I honestly don't really mind either one because either ending could be dramatic. Or you could do something like pretend that she is going to end up with Leo only for Jehwa to break his heart and end up living happily ever after with Hyunjin. It is completely in your hands.
other — Well the ex-manager from Bighit might come back to haunt her (his name is Chwe Haesung, personality is stubborn, demanding, friendly, needy), but that's nothing to Jehwa. She will definitely be able to handle it. You don't need to add this though because I know there is already alot of things going on with Jehwa.
comments, questions, or concerns? : I'd just like to start off by saying thank you for reading all this, and i did have to get a friend to help me alot with the personality and background sections because i fing them just too hard orz ... and also i have been having a little nosy at the other characters that have been applied because why the heck not, and i did notive that Jehwa is a bit similar to one of them in terms of personality i think, so i'm sorry about that conincedence. Also i'm sorry for any typos and mistakes there might be in here. i hope jehwa is to your liking and that you have fun writing about her if she is chosen, but if she is not i will still read this story because the idea of it is just so cool anyways ^_^
people your character might date : Anyone that will get her to where she needs to be. majorly people in the company, only men though sorry. she might show alot of skinship with women but will not actually 'hook up' with them. Also anyone under the same company, or other idols. the possibilities are endless!
scene requests : to host their own realtiy show on showtime and going to a theme park and/or haunted house. these aren't requests at all, more like suggestions though. also maybe Jehwa could ba apart of a subunit? but that is only if not much others have requested the same thing too. also maybe having her in a drama or two might be nice :)
