❀ "is she high right now or is she just that crazy?" at first, seoyeon seems hella innocent and quiet but she's the mastermind behind it all. seoyeon always has an impact on her immediate surroundings. the best way to spot her at a party, is to for the whirling potato that is moving from group to group, talking to everyone like she knew them since she was a newborn. laughing and entertaining with a blunt and earthy humor, she loves being center of attention. though she doesn't hog it. she appreciates it. she is the person who'd love to crack jokes at the most awkward times, breaking the ice immediately. she is the person that could make you laugh on a cold and sad day. she is the person that seems to drink 70 cups of coffee every hour because of how energetic she is. she's always jumping up and down like a kangaroo. there really is no "off" or "mute" button on this girl. she is gonna keep screaming and jumping around until she has completely drained herself and someone has to carry her back home.

❀ "i'm right! right? this chick is mentally crazy!" seoyeon is the person that lives life on the edge. she doesn't care of what's gonna happen next. all she cares about is doing things. she never hesitates doing the big kid rides at the amusement parks. she isn't really nervous for the most daring thing out there. she sometimes make fun of the people that are too scared to do something that is hella crazy to them but is actuallly really safe to her. she doesn't give a if she doesn't make it back alive or not. all that matters to her is that she lives her risky life with joy and she could die for all she could care. finally, seoyeon is an optimist. even if the chains on her bike broke off, the tires caught on fire, and her seat kept spinning around, she'd say, "but look! the little bell still works! the bike is fine!" whenever she's like this, people would call her delusional for having so much hope. she see's that glass as half full while others see it half empty. she always looks on the bright side of things and a few things would bring her mood down.

❀ *hides face* "i'm right what the hell is she doing?!" since she is a bold person, she just jumps into things without really thinking about it. she doesn't really think about the consequences or problems that can occur. she rushes things way too quickly. for example, it's like she saves money for a car she's been wanting for 2 years now but just like that, her stupid doesn't think straight through and she buys 32 boxes of cotton candy and 25 tubs of ice cream. she likes to do and not think about it. because what comes with thinking is time, time is limited, she fears there's never enough. at times, this gal can be very dramatic. it's like in kindergarten, another girl stole her pink eraser and then all of a sudden, seoyeon turned it into world war iii. she sometimes turns the most stupid and smallest situations into a tragic shakespeare play. she is the most embarassing person. she doesn't really care about the way she looks and just does whatever she wants in public. she'd sometimes go up to strangers, look at them straight in the eyes, and run away saying that they are a spy from russia, here to kidnap all no. 2 pencils. she'd even embarass her friends and family. if you tell her who you think is cute, she is going to point at him and say, "ohhhhh! so you like him right? the one in the blue shirt who is staring at us weirdly right now? he is cute! go get em tiger!"

❀ "lord save me." she is a slow person. literally, someone would tell her a joke in the morning, she'd process that, and then 7 hours later, when she's about to go to sleep, her lightbulb flickers on and she just bursts out laughing by herself at how funny the joke was. legit, she has the mentality of a four year old. it requires a lot of her brain juice to actually think so that's why she doesn't think a lot of the times. it's like her brain catches the information but just hides it in the nook and crannies in her brain until later on and then she'd take action. finally, this gal is over competitive. she'd do anything to win! there is no such thing as losing for her. lose and all of it synonyms are not in her vocabulary. she'd do anything to win. she'd throw her teammates under the bus if she has to. there's a lot of yelling and screaming and kicking and swinging for her to be at the top. she just loses all control when she plays a game. so play games with her if you dare because there is gonna be a few tears.

BACKGROUND : born on april 23, 1996, in daegu, south korea, jung seoyeon is the youngest of two girls. her family was definitely not rich. in fact, they were on the lower side of middle class. even though her family wasn't the richest when she was younger, her parents worked their asses off to raise their two children, trying to buy things for their girls so that they'd fit in to society's expectations then.

being a child of not very well educated parents, seoyeon wanted to be the one to go to college and become a doctor. this was her dream ever since she could remember. singing came to her kind of naturally. it was just something she did while doing her chores, homework, playing, whatever she did, she sang. her mother always thought of it as just something seoyeon did but her father knew his daughter better than she actually knew herself.

one day, when she folding her laundry her mother placed on her bed, her dad came up to her and asked if seoyeon wanted to get singing lessons. now, she was 9 at the time when her father told her. she didn't really think anything of it other than the usual 9 year old thoughts like, "Omg! I'm gonna be a superstar!", "I'm gonna sing like an angel!" she obviously told her dad yes and from then on, she got singing lessons.

in the beginning, singing was more like a game for her, but after getting a couple lessons and actually hearing her voice continuely get better, her mind kinda switched and singing became a passion. her dream of being doctor was now non existant but she didn't want to tell her parents, for she thinks that they'll be disappointed.

she continued taking the lessons until she was in eighth grade. her new dream was to become a singer. one day, after school, she came home and asked her parents to come to her room so that she could talk to them. she told them that her dream was to become a singer and that she wants to attend korea arts high school in seoul. her father reacted in a totally different way than how she thought he was going to react.

her father was actually smiling and was genuinely happy that singing was her dream. her mother wasn't completely on board but after spending like 2 hours in that room trying to convince her mother that singing isn't a game but a passion. her mother finally gave in and seoyeon and her father moved to seoul once she was finished with middle school so that she could attend the high school.

her high school experience was out of this world. she met so many people during her time at her high school. she was definitely more comfortable at this school than her school at daegu because she felt like she couldn't be herself and she felt kind of out of place.

at the age of 16, while she was out with her friends at night, her and her friends were actually scouted to audition for big hit entertainment. she quickly ran home to tell her father the news and the next day, after school, seoyeon went to audition for big hit and became a trainee after being accepted.

TRAINEE YEARS : she first came into big hit at the age of 16. since she had vocal training before enterting the company, the main focus was to work on her dancing. even though she did have to go through the vocal training session everyday, she didn't have to work as hard with vocals. dancing wasn't too hard for her either. since she took gymnastics the flexiblity and strength helped her through her dancing skills. though, she is not the best, she's not too bad either. the trainers there thought that seoyeon should try to rap as well because her voice isn't too bad for a rapper. seoyeon had the choice to learn rapping and she did learn it to be good enough but otherwise, she wouldn't even consider herself a rapper. she trained at big hit for 3 years before being able to debut in rose of sharon.

HISTORY : these two first met at korea arts high school. they weren't as close but they did notice each other in the hallways and walking to their classrooms. he was one of the many guys who caught her eyes. she had like a mini crush on him but she just thought of it as a normal teenage girl phase and she'll get over him. after entering big hit, she noticed that that same face she sees in the halls is currently training under big hit as well. at first she didn't know what to do, she thought lightly of this. while she was out with her friend, jooeun, for lunch, she notices taehyung walking with another trainee to the same cafe. everything was perfectly normal, until she got to the cashier. taehyung was behind her while she was ordering and she legit ordered like an army's meal. she didn't really see his reaction to her big appetite. after eating, jooeun went back home while seoyeon decided to head back to the practice rooms and practice more. while she was heading back, she noticed that taehyung was heading back as well. she decided to stop and wait for him and kinda get to know him since she sees him legit everywhere. these two became friends real quick. from their shared interest of food, these two laughed and talked the entire way back. i swear from afar it looks like two girls are gossiping cause like they are jumping up and down like idiots. when they reached the practice room, seoyeon had to work on her dancing so before v left he helped her with her dancing so that she could improve and from there, their relationship blossomed.

INTERACTIONS : so in the beginning, these two were nice to each other but once they became closer, all hell broke loose. these two are really competitive and are very talkative with each other. when they're together, they talk and laugh about the most random things ever. it's like v abducted her and brainwashed her. these two have competitions to see who speaks english better. like, they'd just be havin a broken english competition. these two also tease each other a lot. v teases seoyeon about her big appetite while seoyeon teases him about being a butthole. sometimes both bts and ros look at this pair weirdly because they'd just make ugly faces at each other. like he'd just sometimes poke her and all of a sudden, "WELCOME TO THE POKING CHAMPIONSHIPS!
