kpop vs. america lol

What the hell is wrong with American pop music today?!

I was just browsing through Youtube seeing all these new songs uploaded on vevo.

I preview a couple and... wow..

Dang... and compare it to Korean pop..

Shinee:

Hello Hello~ I want to talk to you for a moment.
Hello Hello~ I might stutter a little, though.

Nicki Minaj:

You a stupid hoe. You a you a stupid hoe.

Super Junior (no other)

A happy guy like me, a happy guy like me, the guy with the happiest smile like me.

LMFAO:

I'm y and I know it.

Taeyang (wedding dress):

Baby~
Can't believe that you are not with me.
'Cause you should be my lady, All I want is to set your heart free.

Bruno Mars:

If we wake up and you want to break up, that's cool. No, I won't blame you. It was fun girl.

Boyfriend:

Would you like to be my girlfriend? My love for you won't change, I won't see anybody but you.

Avril Lavigne:

Hey, hey! You, you! I don't like your girlfriend! No way! No how! I think you need a new one.

Secret:

You're my shy, shy, shy boy. The type of boy with a warm heart, even if you aren't handsome.

David Guetta:

Hey, bring it on baby, all your friends. You're the and I love that body. You wanna ball, explicit, I swear you're good, I won't tell nobody.

Holy shiz, no wonder Koreans hate american songs but love Justin Beiber!

And this is why we must convert all non kpop fans into kpop lovers.

So, you know what we should do?

LOL, jk. Not all american music is horrible. Sheesh.

For example:

The Fray - Never Say Never, How To Save A Life

Coldplay - Clocks, The Scientist

Christina Perri - A Thousand Years

DUUUUUDE, don't get me started with American music actually. LOL. I can go on forever listing good songs from Chris Tomlin, Hillsong, Avalon, David Crowder Band, Bruno Mars, Train, Jason Mraz, Clara Chung, David Choi, Auburn, Paramore, Blink 182 (yeah I know they're olddd but DUDE, it's blink182<3), Cathy Nguyen, Charice, Elliot Yamin, Far East Movement, Fort Minor, Gym Class Heroes, Beyonce, Michael Buble, One Republic, Owl City, etc, etc, etc, blah, blah, blaaah for life.

lol, so many solo artists no bands because bands aren't much of a good appearance in America. Well actually no, Black Eyed Peas for life! <3 LOL. They were good. But people make fun of Backstreet Boys and NSYNC xDDD OMGGG, me and my friends always do the "bye bye bye" hand thing whenever we part ways xDD!

anyways.. yeah..

K. Music > A. Music.

In general, I agree that K-pop is wayyyyyy better than American music (and I'm not being biased - I live in America too for heaven's sake). However, like you stated, there are many great artists in America such as Christina Perri, the Fray, Coldplay...

The ignorant people who like those meaningless lyrics can keep their music. I feel like Kpop is a special thing and you have to understand it, maybe not the language, but the culture. Most people aren't really that accepting of asian culture anyway, so I'm proud to say I'm a genuine Kpop fan<3
