Hello everyone!

I don't usually do blog posts that often but I wanted to thank everyone for subscribing to "I'm Not Jealous" and helping me get to 300 subs! 

I cannot explain how grateful I am for the support and everything that I have been receiving from people for this story. I'm just so thankful. It's been really difficult for me to type this story because I wasn't sure if people were actually going to like it or not because I haven't written in a while hahaha ^^;;

But, you guys have been really giving me support and I honestly appreciate hearing feedback from everyone and just everything, really thank you <3 Please continue to support me as I continue to write this story because it requires a lot of brain power which I sometimes lack xP (which is the reason why i go on hiatus sometimes, i get writer's block a lot.)

So yes! Just one final thank you, thank you very much! ^.- (I just realized I sounded like Elvis just now xD)

Anyways, on other news, I wanted to do a contest! Yaaaaay \(^^)/

I'm horrible at working with drawing and editting websites in order to make cover photos for my stories aand stuff like that (and I'm just not the most artistic person in the world xD). So, I wanted to do a contest to find my creative subs out there that would like to help me out with making a cover photo for my story!

Now I know we're only seven chapters into the story (excluding the chapter about characters) and some people might be like "I don't really have enough info for how you want this to be.

So, I'll just give you some things that I will be looking for in particular and some rules.

1) As you guys should know, Jungkook is the antagonist of the story and so when making the cover, he should look sinister or have a photo where he is seen as sinister or not smiling. If you need examples, just let me know or if you look on the characters chapter, that's an example of a picture that looks somewhat sinister.

2) I feel like it would be important for V to be on the front of the cover because he is dating Jungkook lol :P

3) A maximum of at least 3-4 of the 6 remaining main characters (besides Jungkook and V who will already be on the cover) should try to be included. So this includes but, is not limited to: Namjoon, Hoseok, Jimin, Suga, Joy, and Yeri. 

4) I would prefer for the hair colors that I have set for them (which you can look at in the foreword or in the characters chapter) to remain that color in the cover photo. I have them with that specific hair color for the reason that I want it to match their personalities and backgrounds in the story. 

(I also just remembered that the picture that I have of Hoseok shows him with editted tattoos on his body. If you are trying to put hoseok on the cover but you can't find photos of him with tattoos all over his body or find one but it's not with a bunch of tattoos, don't sweat it haha. Do the best you can or don't do Hoseok xD)

5) The title (of course) should be on the cover. I would personally avoid using crazy font that people might not be able to read very well along with colors that might hurt people's eyes (putting two colors together that might hurt people's eyes if you know what I mean.)

6) Try to use some quotes from the story and put them somewhere on the cover. Min: 2 quotes. Max: 4 qoutes. You are more than welcome to use the quotes from the description box if it's too hard for you to find other quotes throughout the story. 

7) Be creative! Use as much creativity as possible because that will be the one that catches my eye!

 

Now, here are some rules:

1) Only two cover photos can be submitted per person. Too many will most likely not be looked at. 

2) I will only allow to have help from one other person. Please I ask no more than one other person working with you.

3) Using or copying other people's work or art is not allowed and considered plagarism. If you are caught using other people's work or copying someone else's work and claiming it as your own, you will be disqualified. 

4) When you are ready to submit your work to me, do not post it on my wall. Send me a private message ONLY.

5) When submitting your work, please give me the link where your work is posted, your name (if you have a partner both your names) and username on AFF.

6) Please make sure your username is either in the bottom left or right corner of the cover photo. 

7) Once you have submitted your max of two cover photos, any submissions afterwards will not be looked at. I will keep track of everyone that has submitted something so, I will know if you've submitted more than once. 

 

So now for the actual important things!

The deadline for submissions is January 22nd. 

Hopefully that will give people enough time to make their designs and submit them. If you have any serious problems with submitting your work at that time (besides not being finished), please do let me know.

 

And now to what will happen if you win!

You'll receive a shoutout to all of my subs to go and follow you (and of course your work will be used in the story) and I'll basically give you promo. I'm sorry that I don't have actual prizes to give away but, I hope that that will be enough. If there is something that you actually want that doesn't involve money or anything like that, then let me know I guess? 

But, anyway, that's it! The contest starts now and ends on the 22nd. So get started and I will be accepting submission at anytime. I will most likely be announcing the winner of the contest sometimes in February. So plelase anticipate that!
