PUT ON YOUR DOLL FACE: 
REALITY the real world version of hwang kyurin, simply put, is an overweight nerd that doesn't know how to dress.  weighing about 64 kilograms with the height of 161 centimeters.  she has a layer of bangs & chin length pitch black hair that curves a little towards the end along the side of her puffy cheeks and round face.  kyurin's facial features also consists of a flat but wide nose and eyes that are monolid on the right eye and double lidded on the left.
DOLL WORLD the new hwang kyurin is an absolute beauty. she currently weighs about 49 cm, standing at 161 centimeters.  with a slimmer face, longer and straighter nose, big double eye lidded doed eyes, slim yet fit figure, she meets not only the doll world standards, but she also meets the korean standards.  her hair is still the same but longer.  she basically has pitch black hair that lands right above her chest with a layer of bangs resting on her forehead.  
BARBIE IS A BECAUSE SHORT SKIRTS: 
AHJUMMA IN DISTRESS in the real world, kyurin's style is absolutely random and from others' point of view, bummy and nerdy.  not the cute type of nerdy, we're talking about the old fashioned and "what are those" type of nerdy.  in addition to wearing her round frammed glasses, she will literally wear anything that's cheap in price, that can fit her and that can hide her skin.  it doesn't matter what the color is, it doesn't matter what the design is, it just has to meet the standards above.
360 DEGREE MAKEOVER the current doll like kyurin is completely different when it comes to styling and dressing.  although she likes to leave her hair the way it is, she tends to dress a whole lot different.  she's a lot more confident about her body and the type of clothing she loves wearing the most are knee high tights and skater skirts. sometimes, she also wears suspender dresses/skirts.

INTELLECTUAL / PASSIONATE / HARDWORKING while no one else thinks the same, kyurin is actually the smarter twin.  let's try to not brag about anyone here but she is a full out, a+ student. things come to her naturally and she's an extremely fast learner.  even if there's something she doesn't quite understand, it will literally take her little to no time to understand it.  kyurin is deeply passionate for the things she enjoys doing and the things she wants to aim for.  things like solving puzzles, knitting scarves, reading books, baking cookies, and simply just feeding a random flock of pigeons bring her joy.  however, growing up with her parents and fraternal twin sister makes it hard for her to do the things she likes.  it also makes it inevitable for her to try as hard as she can to make her parents proud of her and for her to get at least some type of love and parental attention.  
LOYAL / TRUSTWORTHY / SELFLESS kyurin is someone who you can call a good friend. someone who will go all the way just to protect you and just to let you know that she cares about you and that there's someone out there that will love you for who you are.  tell her your secrets and she'll keep in safe.  not a single word of it would be revealed to another person or another party.  however with all this, she's sefless.  everything she does is for the sake of other people. she doesn't think about herself much and she would literally catch a bullet for you.  the one and only exception is when she tries extremely hard at school for the sake of gaining parental love and approval. afterall, what parent isn't proud of their child when they get extremely good grades?
TIMID / SECRETIVE / INSECURE / WEAK kyurin is the definition of glass.  she's fragile.  you drop her, she breaks.  she can't stand up for herself and she gets used as a doormat frequently. kyurin can't say no and simply put, she can't protect herself.  however, she's really good at hiding her feelings.  so therefore, even if something is going on with her or if she's in a terrible mood, she hides it from other people.  instead of talking to people about it, she waits until she gets home and when nobody's around, she goes into a crying mess.  kyurin isn't very comfortable in her own skin.  in fact, she hates it.  she's not confident about the way she is and sometimes, she will go and harshly self criticize herself in front of the mirror.
 

I HAVE A PRETTY DOLLHOUSE: 
THE DAY the clock striked 10:05 pm and a woman could be heard screaming from one of the rooms in the labor and delivery ward.  hours and hours later, a pair of fraternal twins were born. there names were hwang kyurin and hwang minrin.  they were twins of the same gender, born on the same day and only 2 minutes apart.  but they looked nothing alike and they were the complete opposite of one another.
GROWING UP AS THE UGLIER TWIN  although kyurin's family were well off and they were typically high classed people, kyurin grew up in a pretty tough household.  while most siblings have wonderful relationships with each other, kyurin and minrin did not.  minrin used kyurin as a doormat for the most part, making her take the blame for everything.  minrin also got approval and love from everyone while kyurin was left alone in the corner of the room.  although minrin had all the beauty, looks and love; while no one else knew, kyurin was actually the smarter twin.  the twin who got a's in all her classes. but no matter how hard she tried in school, her parents and relatives would still look at her like she's a freak, like she was a mistake.  it was pretty obvious that if the hwang's had to pick on which child they would give up, it would be her.  throughout her elementary, middle school and high school life - she was pretty much bullied and called names. she never really told her parents about this but she did go and tell minrin.  however, instead of getting a "let me help you" response, all she did was scoff and laugh.  because of that, kyurin refused to tell anyone and took it all in.  when she got into college with full scholarship, she didn't get bullied.  however, she never had friends and she was always alone.        
IT SHOULD BE I "HAD" A PRETTY DOLLHOUSE:  kyurin was kicked out of her home the moment she turned 18.  apparently she was of legal age and needed to "grow up" and become more "independent.  living in her own tiny and cozy apartment above the busy streets of seoul, except for going out to do grocery shopping with a face mask on, she's usually mostly at home and is usually never seen outside on the streets unless necessary.  she currently works as a free lance writer who writes her own romance and mystery novels.  she goes with penname, hyu.  within the last two years, she published a romance novel that became known throughout all of korea. because her parents stopped giving her allowance and rental fees, she made money from all the books she sold throughout the years.  

PEOPLE WHO ARE SPECIAL THAN KEN/BARBIE: 
→ MOM AND DAD – hwang jungmin and jung minseo (50 and 47) – accountants – biased, judgmental, tough, manipulative, stubborn – 0 out of 10 – one word to describe their relationship is terrible. they don't care about kyurin regardless of the amount of work and effort she puts in to make them happy, to bring a smile to their face and to even, gain a small compliment.  however, to them, she was a freak and unwanted.  
→ TWIN SISTER – hwang minrin (22) – famous makeup blogger/youtuber – two faced, bossy, spoiled, creative, charismatic  – 0 out of 10 – obviously, another terrible relationship.  minrin has always been the prettier one and smarter one and most importantly, the one who everyone loved most.  in addition to this, minrin was never nice to kyurin.  she was always a two faced person who only did things that was beneficial to her and everytime something happened, she would put the blame on kyurin.  all in all, minrin made it so that she was the angel and kyurin was the devil when it was suppose to be the opposite.
TRVIAS: 
→ LIKES – the winter, warm drinks especially tea, reading, writing, anything that's aesthetic, nature, the color pastel pink, friendly people who don't judge, the sound of raindrops and piano playing, diys

→ HABITS – sleeping in a fetus position, eyesmiling, taking small tiny bites when eating, decorating her room according to what holiday it is ( for example : if it's valentine's day, she would put up cute lights around her room and tape strings of dangling hearts against the ceiling and she would bake herself some cute heart shaped sugar cookies. ),
→ kyurin really enjoys arts and crafts and anything that's aesthetically pleasing to the eyes, brings her joy and warmth.
→ even though she sees them on magazines and newspapers, kyurin hasn't been in contact with her parents and sister for almost two years now.
→ kyurin has a phobia and she's extremely scared of spiders and pigeons.
→ when kyurin sleeps, nothing can wake her up and i mean nothing.
→ kyurin has the best relationship with tiffany out of all the dollmakers.  tiffany is super friendly and super cheery and although, she's sort of wacky - kyurin really enjoys tiffany's presence and her friendliness brings joy to kyurin's heart.  
→ at one point, kyurin was a huge gdragon fangirl.
→ when kyurin was in college, she majored in journalism and english.
→ writes books with the pen name, enigma.  most of her books are well known throughout all of south korea. 
→ frequently takes the long way to the market so she can pass by the doll shop, just to admire their beauty from afar.

— blinks rapidly as i try not to show a feeling of fear and intimidation, gulps slightly before speaking, slightly stuttering. i i ...believe that life in the dollhouse would be nothing but perfect and full of joy and happiness.  i believe that this place was created with the goal to bring hope and light to people's lives and it definitely did.

— tilts head slightly with my lips pursed before shaking my head. definitely not.  i've actually always envied dolls and how porcelain their skin looked and how big their eyes are and just simply, how perfect they are.  i think being a doll is a wonderful thing.  it's more than anything i can ask for.

— attempts to rap along. yo yo i've always enjoyed the sight of dolls.  whether it be annabell or chucky, it is inevitable to fall.  in the midst of beatboxing - when i mean fall, i mean to fall in love and ... notices the weird stares being thrown at her before stopping and returning to her original stance.
