BACKGROUND + introducing your french princess, julia anais ahn. born on september nine, 1995, she came with such a force and screamed so loud that the nurse ob/gyns nearly dropped her back into the womb- which would be quite bad for her twin sister, julie, who was still underneath there. julia was planned- julie was not, because apparently the ob/gyns who was administrating her ultrasound thought that extra arm was julia's arm. so you can imagine her parents- john and jane kim's screams once she delivered another one. but before julia and julie is their parents- john ahn is their dad's name, but his birth name was ahn jaehwan, the middle child of an ceo to a large company- that grew even larger when it expanded to three different locations, china, france, and australia. naturally- john was sent to france- where he met his wife, sophia ahn, half korean half french- making julia and julie 1/4th french, 3/4th korean. john and sophia are probably the most cutest couple over 40- they still act like the lovesick teenagers they once were, much to the amusement (and disgust) of their children. despite her parents being of french nationality (john eventually acquired french nationality) their plan was to secure south korean citizenship before french citizenship for their daughters which was why sophia delivered in south korea.

returning to france- the ahns lead a relatively nice life- penthouse overlooking the eiffel tower, an international private school for julia and julie and the likes- all through their parent's job. but the downside of that is their parents were always busy working so julia and julie was always left with an au pair, but that didn't mean that their parents didn't love them as much. growing up they were exposed to a wide variety of skills- painting, tennis, badminton, dancing- and the like, although julia only picked up dancing and taekwondo, julie picked up singing and badminton. but in school- they were one regarded as the princesses and the popular kids- up until julia and her family vacationed in korea. back in sixth grade, one bored summer vacation juli-squared had fallen in love with their ethnicity's music- which was basically consisted of squealing over choi siwon- and granted they knew how to speak korean. the way juli-squared was accepted into yg was nothing special- at least for julia. julie was scouted for a private audition- but julia was accepted through the nation wide auditions- which she and her twin sister boarded a flight to south korea for the auditions. promising their parents who let their children do whatever they wanted that pleased them- as long as they excelled in school- that they could take care of themselves in korea- they boarded asiana airlines flight the august of 2011, and where their training story starts.

being foreign and all- naturally julia didn't make friends at first- but slowly a girl named park suil approaced her with french fries- where they became best friends in a week. training life for julia was somewhere in the middle of hard and someone-shoot-me because it was the first time she devoted every hour to this. school for her wasn't really a problem however.

postives + here is the girl that has fire in her eyes and you can tell from the way she moves, as if she's a petal blooming in springtime. she's waited long for her dark winter to end, and ikrown is her rainbow after the storm. julia jokes that she draws her energy from preforming- and she probably does because five hours of sleep isn't anything to her when she gets lost in a trance that is dancing. never did she ever hesitate upon signing another contract renewal. she eludes charisma, shining brightly even in the back. always knowing what to say- and always handling awkward situations perfectly, she's become weekly idol's most feared and loved idol. incredibly patient ( because yg meets his deadlines like a college student during finals week ) she's slow to anger and rich in laughter which is why she's generally fun to hang out with- she's best descrbed as down to earth and hilarious. julia knows how to balance play & work.  she likes to maintain a cool facade- but inside she genuinely cares for her friends- and tries her best to be there for them. not necessarily the mother figure- she's more of that supportive best friend who'll be there for you at three am. but one thing that's quite helpful is her intuition. brought on by being surrounded in business- julia is problem solver who, with her caring side, tries to help everyone. she knows exactly how to fix it- her brain works like an engineer trying to constantly fix problems and upgrade existing features, which is quite helpful when you're living in a dorm like ikrown.

neutrals / the neutral side of her personality and traits- she's a neat freak to the point that one might think she has ocd. she likes everything in pretty little baskets and everything is organized- color coded, same size, minimalist decor, her room looks like a room from ikea or pinterest. and she's a great chef, seriously. she makes really healthy but yummy food so that jinhee can eat all she wants and be in a food coma without being scolded by ikrown's mama for eating unhealthy foods. she's also quite flexible, which she loves to mischeviously scare her members with a sudden arm twist or a back bend. it also works as a great variety show tool- and when she's trying to take a sip of jinhee's pearl millk tea. and by sip, i mean a couple of gulps. and by goulps i mean swallow the entire thing and try not to laugh with the boba pearls inside your mouth as jinhee looks like she's going to kill julia.

negatives — but despite how genuine one might seem- there's always a shadow the represents her negative traits. for one- she's rather sharp tongued and won't hesistate to use her blade against you. she can twist her words to pour more alchohol into your wounds, add salt, and squeeze some lime juice to enjoy a tequila wait why am i writing this. but years of competing against her against her sister and other trainees has tided over with her- she can't help but always want to compete against other people- julia piting herself against other trainees in what she thinks is a king of the hill battle. julia posesses a strong crab mentality in tie with her easily jealous trait- she can get easily jealous of her other member's achievements in which she tries her best to either go a competetive route and try ot outshine her- or her crab mentality and try to descredit her. inflluenced by the world of business growing up- julia has become high handed and business minded. she craves to be in control and often times annoys her group members with her bossy habits, being more of a dictator than a leader. the defnition of high handed is to use authority without regarding the feelings of other people- julia's worst trait. in harmony with her high handed trait is her being business minded- it's equal parts perfectionism and competitiveness- julia simply wants the best of the best, to always have the upper hand. she won't settle for second class- in part it's driven by her desire to compete.

jinhwan- is caring. there's no point in elaborating it- but the way he cares is something not just on a physical level, but on a mental level. he's ready to slap some sense on you if it meant that you'd be more sensible. it's in the way he tucks in hanbin's blanket, or plug in bobby's phone because god knows how bobby reacts when his phone isn't charged in the morning. he's also quite funny

HISTORY + apparently if you click that "history +" it links you to ot12. but anyways julia and jnhwan first met when jinhwan entered yg in 2011. they immediately got along- needless to say. they share the same type of humour that made them got along- best friends needless to say. but when jinhwan went up on WIN- julia fell in love with the way he slept- then eventually with the way he prepared food because let's be real here this isn't a john green novel julia is only there for food.

now, julia and jinhwan are best friends- and best friends only. except, it's kind of hard to remain best friends when the world is practically shouting at you two to get together. to quote some by junggigo and soyou, "it feels like i'm yours, it seem's like i'm yours but not." some is practically how their relationship is like. some sort of tiptoeing between best friends and lovers- really. jinhwan would always be there for julia after her sister and her fought with her again- meanwhile julia would show up to his room with ice bags after she knows he's had a long day form training- and the cuddling, seriously i don't know why they haven't gotten together yet. and for days or weeks at a time they wold convince themselves that they were in some sort of a relationship- jinhwan falling alseep in her room, cuddling, pillow fights, nights spent in comfortable silence, buying each other food- but then one of them has to end it by saying, "you're the best friend anyone can have." but that all chanfed when the fire nation attacked- no when jinhwan kissed julia under the streetlight before running away-  only to apologize relentlessly to julia, june of 2014. julia's response? she simply grabbed his collar and kissed him. with suil in the background cheering.
