Y'ALL NEED TO CHILL.
I am seriously getting irritated by SEVENTEEN fans trying to put down Monsta X and iKON. I'm not a Monsta X fan nor am I an iKON fan, I'm a SEVENTEEN fan actually, and I personally think that this is too much.
Yeah, yeah, I get it: SEVENTEEN deserves to win an award. But if they do get one, will you finally shut up? I bet you'd continue to harass other groups even more.
Don't you get it? This is bringing down OUR fandom name. We've all seen Monsta X and SEVENTEEN play basketball together, right? Then why can't we fans be like that? Is it that hard for you to be tactful?
Have you ever even thought about the passive fans who are despised because the other people in their fandom bashes other groups? We get hate for something we didn't do.
And that's not fair.
I'm afraid the SEVENTEEN fandom will turn into like EXO-L. A lot of people hate EXO because of their obnoxious fans, when not all of us are like that.
As a kpop fan in general, I feel very disappointed with the childish behavior of our fellow fandom mates.
If your favorite band didn't win, then there's no need to bash the winning group, because if they won then they must be competent and deserve the award. I've got no problems iKON won on MAMA, since I've been following them ever since Mix&Match and they were undeniably good.
How would you feel if your bias group won and other fans went like
"I think (other band name) deserves it more." Or
"(Your bias group) , (other band name) should have won."
Let's all cut the crap and show support towards one another, like our precious idols. They don't bash/bully their rivals, now, do they?
After all,
we are one, right?
Sorry for the long rant, I just needed someplace to vent all these thoughts in.
