Okay, I'm just gonna be lame today haha

 

Today I ate the best lunched ever served at this school!!! :D

It was curried chicken with rice, what looked like a ciabatta bread with seeds and butter ;), and rasins (ew :P)

When I saw it on the menu, I thought "this will probably be gross) but it was World Fare and the food there is ok, so I decided to check it out when one of the lunch ladies passed me with samples. From the glimpse I got, it looked like curried chicken.

So I went to see what I looked like. It was nothing they ever served before. I remembered in International Cuisine when the district-wide chef told us how they experiment new recipes to see what students liked, and I guessed that this was new, considering the samples and the fact that it looked pretty fancy.

It also smelled really good.

Please don't decieve me nose!

So I went to the line of zero people and looked at what was served. The lady asked me if I would like to try the sample, but I had a big ol' backpack and did not feel like doing unnecessary walking because I was gonna get some anyways since I wasn't in the mood for anything else, so I just got some and went to eat.

The people at my table either a) bring food from home, b) go to the snack bar, c) go to the salad bar, d) eat the expensive stuff, or e) eat the gross stuff XP

I took my fork, poked the chicken, and ate it. And I have no clue what I looked like but I said, even though only one other person was at the table at the time looking at her phone, but I said, "Mmm, this is actually really good!"

I was in love!

The chicken was a little salty, but it was good enough for me, and the rice wasn't so salty so it balanced out. I looked around to see if anyone else at my table was getting some and no one did. Huh, they were stuck with the bad stuff. Well, except for {insert Greek goddess name}, she always has her delicious looking Chinese food from last night's dinner that everyone stares in awe at.

My sister came to the table, and I was like "Why didn't you go to World Fare?"

"Why, what's there?"

"Curry chicken. It's sooooo good!"

"I knew it smelled like curry! I didn't think our school served delicious stuff!"

Without permission, even though I was going to offer anyway, she took my fork and got a piece of chicken with rice.

"Wow, that is good!"

I took one of the only fires that she had that looked good.

Then she actually sat with us today, which she never does, and started talking about 24k with {insert same Greek goddess name} and when I started on the really delicious bread, she tried to offer more fries to me for a piece.

"No, just get some, I don't need anymore potatoes."

And then {insert guy name} came with three Bosco sticks even thought he only wanted one so I took one. And then, my sister offered him some fries because she wanted a piece of that XDD

And so I started slowly biting the Bosco stick because I was kinda full, and then I pushed the disposable cuz we're an 'eco-friendly' school tray to the center of the table and said, "I don't eat rasins. Anyone want some?"

Then {insert same guy name} said after a short pause, "Sure, I never had raisins before" and popped one in his mouth.

I was like, "Well, you either will like it or not. I can't believe you've never had raisins!"

And my sister was like, "It should have been more dramatic."

So when he decided to eat another, she told him to dramatize it, which he did, then jokingly said "Yuck!"

 

And then, in Math class, my teacher was pulling us one by one to the side to ask which math class we should take next year. She suggested I take College Algebra, because I guess I have the skillz for it, and I decided it was a good choice since I could get college credit and my mother and I talked about it before and it sounds like a good choice.

To double check if it was, she asked, "What do you plan on doing [in the future]?"

"I might do pharmacy."

That was the first time I said might because I'm not sure if I will. Yeah, I know, big deal, haha

 

Anyways, it was a couple of firsts, and I realized while writing this that it was also some firsts for other people besides me.
