Keeper writes

Whenever I am in front of the document, I can't seem to type anything.

But when I am doing something else, especially when I am walking, watching tv and taking a shower, this head of mine starts forming words about a story. Most of the time, I have nothing to write on so I depend on my memory. Sigh.

I said I was having writer's block. But then I saw this blog saying that writer's block is just anxiety. Indeed, I often think about a lot of things before I even begin. Sometimes, I am so critical about myself that I am afraid to even type one word. The author advised that whenever we are having writer's block, write about writer's block

"Do the thing you fear the most and the death of fear is certain." - Mark Twain

My sister once told me that there is no such thing as writer's block because there are so many things to write about. She writes an average of 30 articles in one day in odesk for five days. She still writes on Saturdays and Sundays, but not as many during weekdays. I often wonder how she does that.

So, one time, I secretly watched her.

WHOAH. She was typing real fast, like something was running after her and she wasn't stopping for a long time. A few moments later, she stretched her arms upward and read the article she wrote.

Now, I believe the blogger when he said, "Just write. Think later."

My dad asked my sister if she was planning on doing a children's book. And the creative writing major said, "I don't write fiction."

Dad, what if Keeper writes that children's book? ^^"

Maybe it is not to be called writers block. Most of the time when I had this feeling it is only because I am uncertain of myself and my writing. When I am disappointed and I can't seem to move on. It might be because someone gave a criticism that broke my heart, or somebody borrowed my original idea. NOT until after I pass this hurdle will I be able to press forward.

hmmnn, your sister is a genius, then again, keeper, it always takes a great imagination to write a children's book. Go fot it!

I'm putting on my non-existent cheerleader uniform and waving my pom-poms to cheer for you. GO KEEPER...GO KEEPER!!!

I can totally relate but instead of a writer's block, it's more of a writer's laziness. LOL. But in fairness I was able to write a Youngbae one-shot yesterday and posted it just a few hours ago. HOORAY for me!!!^_^

Go pursue your dream keeper my dear. ^_^
