☁ eyes, nose, lips — Hwayoung has very dark chocolate eyes that sometimes look green when you put them into a bright light. For the longest time, Hwayoung needed glasses. She hated this stage of her life! Her eye vision was horrible and she had to wear glasses up until Kindergarden through several months into her training years. Hwayoung has awful acne. It's part of life. No matter how bad she tries and all of the products it won't go away. Nobody is perfect. Luckily, Korea has amazing face masks that help clear her face up. Other than that, she wears masks. Hwayoung's hair is a long walnut brown colored hair. When it's dyed, it's dyed. Other than that she likes to have her hair at it's natural.

All of that imagination! Hwayoung is full of imagination. She is always writing books, drawing, or anything like that because she loves writen down and or saying what is going on inside of her head. Hwayoung could wake up from a slumper in the middle of the night. Her members would think why, but she would put on her glasses, go under her blankets, turn on her flashlight, and start writing in her little journal. She has plenty or journals and she loves using them for writing down what she is thinking. Once she was thinking about a relationship and what could happen the night day. Then, all of a sudden she was thinking about the word tomorrow. She put them together and wrote a song about it. She called the song "Tomorrow" and just kept it in her journal and never touched it. It was later on sung by Bangtan Boys in there Skool Luv Affair album. She also wrote a poem called "Coffee on 12/21", but none of her members knew about it.

go shorty it's your birthday! on a freezing winter's morning, lee hwayoung was born. it wasn't all hip-hip-hurray and ice cream cake. while still in her mother's stomach, her umbilical cored was wrapped around her neck. taeyeon had stopped breathing during the birth and the doctors had to remove taeyeon from her mother's by force. by force meaning using tools. when she finally came out she was breathing perfectly, but was tested for anything wrong. hwayoung was okay!
my parents are life. hwayoungs's parents met in high school. after high school they had ended up going to the same college. it was so sweet everytime her mother told this story. hwayoung's mom's name is ahn minjung and her father's name is lee jaebum. when they reunited in college jaebum was shocked to see the love of his life. he asked her to date when they were studying outdoors one night and luckily minjung said yes or else hwayoung wouldn't be here. later on in those crazy college days minjung became pregnant and jaebum later proposed.
