Maybe they just looked for fics tagged as ‘kyungsoo’ and clicked each result, not knowing what the story was until they opened it? Then they subscribed to the fics they liked and checked them out once they were done searching? (Haha, I do that a lot. But I don't comment without checking out every single information available. If I don't, I feel less informed... And I hate that feeling. Weird, huh.)
And then read everything up until a certain chapter, without noticing the tags, and then just commented what they thought at the time without really thinking it through?
Then again, that is kinda... I try to support every existing ship, even though I favor a few ones (sometimes) over the others, since basically, they're still the people I like, just with different people from the ones I usually ship them with. (Wha-? Now I confused myself. -_-)
Or maybe they just reacted that way because they haven't adjusted to the ship yet? Some people are like that. They react like they hate it, when really, they feel like they don't like it because it's different from what they're used to. For example, the first time I read a fanfic on AFF (and the first time EVER that I read a fanfic) was through the Message Board on the EXO SMTOWN site. I checked out every fanmail before mine because I was curious what other people sent to them. I stumbled across a fan who sent a TaoRis drabble and I clicked on it because I was curious. The message sent to "read it" so that I did. At the time, I didn't know it was a fanfic and when I finished it, I was like, “Whaaaattttt? Eeeeeewwwww! I can't even imagine that happening. What is it with these people writing stuff like this?” But then, I checked out a few other fanfics similar to that and I was like, “Woah. This is actually pretty cool. I can't say I completely love it, but I've grown to like it.” So maybe, they're just reacting like that because it's different.
...Or not. Oh well. Their opinion.

HOLY YES. I AGREE WITH YOU. I mean, I ship Kaisoo more, but I also ship Chansoo. BUT I STILL READ CHANSOO FICS. GODDAMNIT PEOPLE. WHY THE HELL DO YOU DECIDE TO START READING THE FANFIC WHEN IT'S A CHANSOO FANFIC. GOD ING DAMN. PEOPLE NEED TO CHILL. THE SHIPS ARE IN THE DESCRIPTION. STOP BASHING ON CHANSOO.

Looks like people can't read the tags or the description properly. I literally hate people who say that side ships are disgusting. We can ship who we want and they can ship who they want. Just ignore those haters. Haters gonna hate.
