✖ Dedicated : Seeing things to completion borders on an ethical obligation for Kathryn. Tasks aren't simply abandoned because they've become difficult or boring - Kathryn is the type to take them up  when that is the right thing to do, and it will be finished so long as it remains as a right thing to do.
✖ Strong-willed : A strong will makes this dedication possible, and Kathryn doesn't give up her beliefs just because of simple opposition. She defends her ideas and principles rentlessly, and must be proven clearly and conclusively wrong for her stance to budge.

Thus, she can't stand any disorder which leads to her cleaning the dorm at least once a week even if she doesn't have any time. It is an advantage and disadvantage at the same time for the girls, Having the dorm always squeaky clean but have to deal with Kathryn's OCD. When any of their things disappear, just call Kathryn because she probably tidies up the girls' stuffs all over again.
♪ Protective : Kathryn takes no when it comes to protecting people that she loves. She will stand at the front protecting them. Honestly, she will do anything for them even if she has to harm herself or getting her image ruined which leads to the girls worry about her if there's hates thrown to them. They know they have to hold her back from throwing back snarky comments.
♪ Brave : Kathryn is not that type of girl who going to back out when something bad happens. Instead, she faces it because she knows that if she continues to run away, it will eat her slowly from the inside. She always remember her mom's words to courageous and don't be afraid to face any challenges.

» Background

Being the only child of an internationally famous baseball player and chinese hit actress has it perks. Kathryn is constantly under the spotlight, earning attention from the public even before her heart beats for the first time. Andre and Liya met through Daniel Wu, a popular chinese-american actor aka Kathryn's god father. They immediately click in eventhough it is their first time meeting. After exchanging vows, they are legally married to each other 1 year and half after revealing their relationship, much to the world's shock. Language isn't a problem since Liya knows English and of course Andre is there to help her enhancing it. After 2 years of waiting and trying, they finally earn their only child. The news spread all over the world like a fire. You must be expecting Kathryn to be like popular af even before her first tooth grow, right? Well you're totally wrong. Kathryn was kept out of public eyes until she was 4. Her first public appearance was on a talk show, with her parents of course. Right after that, CFs proposal came to her like a flash flood which lead to her starring at some movies and dramas too. She was a hit back then, until she decided to take a hiatus, mainly because of her training.

At school, she was admired by the teachers, and students of course. She is not that smart, Well at least she does well in any calculation and language subjects because science and history just... . Her school life was just the same as the other kids, Extra classes, exams. well, except for she doesn't socialize that much because she is not a social butterfly unlike those popular it girls. But she managed to befriend with a girl though. At the age of 10, Kathryn found another thing that caught her interest, dancing. It started when her mom brought her to the mall and she saw a group of street dancers moving their bodies well matched with the rhythm. Little Kathryn found it interesting and immediately asked her mother how to move her body like that. Coudn't resist Kathryn's puppy eyes, they ended up enrolling Kathryn in a dance academy. By the age of 15, she can make her own choreography, which kind of brought some tears in mom's eyes and dad smiling proudly.

With such potential, Kathryn entered countless dancing competitions and ended up winning more than half of it. SM representive found her during one of it and you know the drill. It isn't hard convincing her parents because they know how passionate Kathryn is when it comes to dancing. With endless supportive words from her mom and pats at the back from dad, she passed the global audition with flying colours, Means she had to go to korea to start her trainee life. This was the difficult part. Going to a foreign country alone without any knowledge about it scared her. Sure she went to several asian countries but south korea? Not even once. She even thought of declining the offer. After some deep conversation with mom and dad, Kathryn finally succeed knocking in some confidence and decided to go to another country, clueless and alone at the age of 17.

The moment she stepped on the land of Seoul, She felt her confidence shrinking back, already wanting to go to her mom's embrace. Clutching the bracelet that her parents gave her back at the airport, She regained her composure and walked to SM building, where her new life will start. Trainee life was unexpectedly hard. She knows it's going to be hard, but not this hard. Bullies are common around foreigner trainees and Kathryn didn't missed to get an experience of bullying. Cleaning the practice rooms, cleaning the dorms, buying food and drinks are basically her part of daily routine for her first year. Right after she met Krystal and Johnny and the bullies all stopped, Why? She also wants to know because she silently misses cleaning the practice rooms. Then she was brought to some gathering of foreigners of sm and jyp artists and trainees. Kathryn's days were basically the same for 2 years and half.

Andre Either | Father | 46 | LA Dodgers Manager | He's very strict when he needs to be but he's just another typical father who loves to pamper his only daughter as soon as he steps out of the stadium. Since Kathryn is his only child, he's very protective and is willing to do anything for her but won't went overboard because he knows that Kathryn still needs to be independent. | Despite of not being at home as often as other people's dads, he still provides father's loves to Kathryn. He is the one who patiently taught her how to cycle, how to swim. Sometimes, he even brought Kathryn to the stadium, to expose her to the sport world. Almost every weekend, the three of them will have their family bonding time. From a simple outing day at the mall to a vacation they did it all.

 
Tong Liya | Mother | 44 | Actress | She is a very caring mother, providing all of Kathryn's needs and is always there for her. Is sometimes clumsy and quite a troublemaker who nags too much, but for the other two's goods of course. Also the one who prevents Dad from pampering Kathryn too much which sometimes earn a pout from the daughter | Liya has the touch that can control Kathryn no matter how rebellious she is. A word from her and Kathryn would hang her head down. If Kathryn can hide her sadness or hardship from everyone, one hug from Liya can break Kathryn down right there, right at that moment. Liya also knows how to confort Kathryn everytime she is angry, sad or simply not in the mood, she knows it all. If Andre taught Kathryn how to do sport, Liya taught her about softer things. All of Kathryn's knowledge about cooking were passed down by her.

Sarah Hudson | Best friend | 19 | Student at Oxford University | Selfless, great sense of humour, caring, genius | They met at the locker room and theirs were located side by side which leads to them bumping often. After finding out that both of them were classmates, they immediately clicked in. | Sarah is a girl that can be defined as a top student who is very very very crazy. A day without her lame antics couldn't be called a day. Everything that Kathryn does with her is done with laughter and good memories to be kept in mind. Sarah is everthing that Kathryn could ever wish as a friend.

  
Mark 'Yi-En' Tuan | Close friend | 22 | Member of GOT7 | Introvert, observant, kind, responsible | They met through one of the gatherings, bumping to each other when Kathryn decided to introduce herself | Mark is a hella shy guy, Kathryn admits that. But as soon as they know that both of them came from the same city, the same school, they ended up closer, much to the others' surprise. Sharing memories about their hometown crushed down Mark's wall. He acts like Kathryn's older brother, despite of her not having one. He takes care of her cautiously, before and after debut. They almost never share any moments onstage, which kind of shock the public when they said they are close. 

 
Kunpimook 'Bambam' Bhuwakul | Close friend | 18 | Member of GOT7 | Dorky, easily excited, sweet, energetic | Also met through the gatherings, but Bambam introduced himself first | Bambam is just as clingy as Jackson, but as a younger brother. Bambam said that Kathryn reminds him to her mother which makes Bambam immediately sticks to Kathryn like a glue when he sees her. Since Bambam is a roll of a fluffy cinnamon bun, Kathryn finds herself attached to the younger boy. His cuteness just makes Kathryn wants to protect Bambam from the world, despite of him being a senior in the industry. Onstage they openly show their closeness by exchanging greetings and talking, huggings and cheering on each other.

 
Krystal 'Soojung' Jung | Best friend | 21 | Member of f(x) | Introvert, matured, bold | Through Johnny who is close with both of them | Krystal is the oldest out of the three, but she acts like the youngest sometimes. You would be surprised but she is really childish. Crossing energy with Johnny could make Kathryn go crazy because of their antics. Being a girl and a foreigner, Krystal exactly knows how Kathryn feels. Krystal protects Kathryn emotionally and mentally, giving motivations, supports and a shoulder to cry on and sometimes vice versa. It is known around the building that they are inseparable.

 
John 'Youngho' Seo | Best friend | 20 | Member of SMRookies/Trainee | Warm, caring, selfless, matured | Trains together for dancing | Despite them being just 5 days apart, Johnny acts like he's 5 years older. If Krystal protects Kathryn mentally, he is the one who protects Kathryn physically from those bullying. Eventhough he tried hard to act older, he is, sometimes, childish af that you forget his height and unknowingly plays around with him. They also bicker, a lot but no worries, because Krystal is there to break them apart. Along with Krystal, they were called "Stoned Trio" because of them tends to act shy infront of the camera. (which is a huge lie behind the camera)

Yes, they met through the gathering. For the first time Kathryn went to it, she finds herself infront of a boy who was doing some kind of tumbling and doggie dance, which really fascinates Kathryn. Amber who is also present at that time shouted for Kathryn's name along with something 'beat his with your dancing, girl!' and she found herself in the centre of the room, all eyes on her. She hesitated at first but soon gave it a try after earning some shout of encouragement. When she stopped dancing, a loud cheering broke out and Jackson hugged her, saying that she got that . As time passed, they got closer and closer.

⊗ before dating :
Their interactions are either sickeningly gross or sickeningly cute, There's no between. Since both of them are the type that -you-all-i-do-what-i-want (but still manage to maintain their image), they're not that afraid to do some skinships. Holding hands, locking arms or intertwining fingers are basic to them. Their hands find each other as soon as their eyes met. But on public, they tone it down, just sharing some glances or just friendly skinships.

⊗ during sarangs :
This is when Jackson being a clingy to Kathryn. It's not that she hates it, she likes it but other people around them. . . . . nevermind. Jackson's hand always find itself sneaking aroung Kathryn's waist or shoulder, Sometimes tickles her when he gets that oppurtunity which gonna earn some smacks or slaps or punches on the chest. Whispering some lame corny pickup lines or fluff things to each other is a daily basis to them. Both of them, especially Jackson can't live without touching Kathryn at least once a day, which leads to them having a little date every night when they don't meet during the day. if they have the time though. Pecks on the cheek, nose or forehead are proudly publicised and most of them being explained by Jackson as his little 'just-being-sweet-to-my-girlfriend' accompanied by his hyena laugh.
Their little dates occupied by having small talks about how they're doing, how's jackson's injury (mainly jackson because all of the flying things he does), sharing their concerns, giving each other moral support, Kathryn ruffling Jackson's hair, Kathryn caressing Jackson's face, Jackson tucking Kathryn's hair, Jackson playing with Kathryn's hair and so on. They literally forget about the other things. They also sometimes cook together because of Jackson being annoying to Kathryn about 'missing my mom's cooking but girlfriend's would do'.

Jackson and Kathryn going on a movie date, Maybe with the members along with their love interests up to you about the audience but no public people lol. Okay, back to the topic. Jackson booked the wholeee cinema for them, Maybe they will watch something action or horror because romance fluff is just not Kathryn's style. After having their skinship moment and the movie ends, Kathryn starts to get her things and gets up when a video comes up instead of those credit thingy. Oh yes, It is a video of their members, GOT7 and SUBZER0 giving messages to them like 'please last long' or whatever and just before the ending, Jackson comes up on the screen, confessing to Kathryn and ends it with a scream because it is too corny for him. Right after the video ends, she finds Jackson kneeling infront of the theatre, holding a bouquet of flowers and says 'will you be my girlfriend'. Kathryn stands up and says 'lol no' then laughs at Jackson's pale face as she runs towards him, giving him a bone-crushing hug. 'of course i want, idiot!'.

Even before both of them officially dating, rumours rise between them due to the skinships and eye contacts onstage which lead to their companies representives deny it and tell them to tone it down, since both of the groups are currently at their peak of popularity. They did toned it down but not all of it. They still share some glances on stage.

After they're dating not officially, fans caught them during their little date. They took pictures of Kathryn leaving got7's dorm or something which wildens things up again and that's when JYP and SM finally admit that both of them are dating. Of course hates are everywhere but most of their fans support them so they are not bothered about the hates. Well maybe jackson is bothered about it a bit but managed to control himself.
