TRAINEE BACKGROUND » She was casted by an agent through their school singing contest when she was 16 years old. She performed BoA's Eat You Up and amazes the agent from SM Ent. Although she didn't win, the agent still acknowledged her and told her that she was casted to become a trainee at SM Ent. Her training though isn't as smooth sailing as she thought since she is much more of a rapper than a vocalist her vocal coach trained her hard so that she can also be a vocalist aside from just being a rapper and dancer which in the end is successful. Her dancing and rapping skills amazes her coaches so they have no problem with that she just need to practice more gaining her position as the main rapper and lead dancer.

- Banana milk - she loves banana milk and if she can drink it all day everyday she will. You'l see a stack of banana milk in their fridge with her name written on each bottles.

Haneul is a dedicated person. She very much give it her all when she does something but sometimes it gets overboard. She gets too dedicated that sometimes  she forgets that she's just a young girl and let the burden stresses her out causing ehr to be grumpy. She work hard to be able to achieve what she wants and if she fails the first time she over works herself that she forgets to take care of herself. Although she's like that she still care for her members and friends.

She never fail to cook for them and clean up after their mess but sometimes it goes way too much since she's an OCD she wants everything in proper places and sometimes nag at the other members because of it. She's a passionate person. She makes sure that everyone sees it as she performs, in her songs and works.

We may all see her as a serious person but there are tmes that when she's the mood she plays around and even flirt to those who also flirts with herm but her being flirty doesn't mean she migh t like you back because che'll only notice you if you are being serious with her.

 

 

background » Haneul's mother is a singer from a club where she met er father. As soon as her parents got married, her father took her mother to London and lived there for a long time. But just like thay said genes run in the family and they aren't an exception. As soon as Haneul turned four years old, she began singing to the songs she hears in the television or in the radio. She even ask her mom to play a song for her and together they will sing. As she grows up, she realized that she wants to be a singer. Her father though was against the idea and even forbid her to sing at home. Until her parents saw the drastic change happened to her. No more is the happy Haneul. The house became quiet and somehow gloomy. They notice how she shut them down unlike before when she was still vocal of her feelings and experiences. She suddenly became a depressed person so her mother talked it out with his father and fortunately he understands his daughter and her love for singing and dancing. So one day they talked to her and told her that they are allowing her to become a singer. The week after the whole family flew from London to Korea and decided to stay there for the sake of their only daughter's dream. Her mother accompanied her to auditions and although she fails she didn't give up until she got accepted unexpectedly in SM Ent. Her dream and her family is her motivation to do her best and to give it all she have.

The songs she's been composing is about her hardships, as we as the group's. She's put all the emotions she has in a song and that's why she works hard for it to ensure that the message and the feelings of the song reaches out to their audience and fans. She promised that one day she'll be able to make her parents even more proud when she stands in one stage together with her members.

 

 

 

 

family » Jung Jiseok| Father | 52 | Businessman | Being a korean father and grew up in a traditional korean household Jiseok is a strict person specially when it comes to his daughter. Being the only child and a girl he tend to get overprotective and dictative but he also shows his sweet spot to his family. He spoils Haneul but of course after she did something productive. Haneul was a daddy's girl until he forbids her from doing she loves the most. He was sadden when his princess shut him off and ignore him unlike when she was still a child. He is prideful so he had a hard time changing his mind until he can't take to see his daughter suffering from depression because he took away that one thing that makes his daughter happy. In the end he becomes her number one fan and supports his daugter all the way.

 

Sarah Williams Jung l  Mother  l  49  l  Housewife  l  Sarah was born and raised in England but flew to Korea for college. She was working part-time at a bar when she met her soon-to-be husband. She is an open-minded person and that somehow contradicts with her husband but that didn't affect their relationship. In fact it helps them understand each other more. She was happy when she found out her daughter's talent and encouraged her to pursuing it but her husband is against it. She was disappointed at her husband for doing that but secretly she's helping ehr daughter achieve her dream. While her husband is at work she lets her daughter sing her heart out  and sometimes she joins her. But seeing that her daughter is still depressed she talked to her husband and explain her her daughter's side and fortunately her husband finally realized what he was taking away from their daughter and let her pursue her dreams. She accompany her daughter in every audition and even more happy when she heard that her daughter was casted to be a trainee under SM ENt. Just like her husband she's her number one fan and will be supporting their daughter through whatever she'll be facing.

 

 

 

friends/rivals » Chanyeol | Best Friend | 23 | Idol (EXO) | Chanyeol and Haneul met during trainee days. Chanyeol was already confirmed a member of EXO while Haneul just started training. They actually met in a funny way. Haneul was left behind the dance studio because she can't pick up the second part of the song so her trainor told her to stay and practice until she get the wholse dance and that's when Chanyeol enters. Chanyeol, upon receiving the news that he'll debut he runs to the dance room where Haneul is and starts screaming, not noticing that there is another person in the room, until he heard someone laughing. It was awkward and funny at the same time. When Haneul asked why he was screaming he said that he'll debut soon and Haneul congratulated him. That's when they realized that they'll get along very well and a beautiful friendship blooms~ He was with Haneul in her downfalls during her trainee period. Even when he was busy promoting, he never forget to talk with his best friend everyday. He treasures her as his little sister (considering he's the youngest and he has a noona and that he wants to have a little sister) and anyone that hurts he will get through Park Dobi.

 

Hanbin  l  Best Friend #2  l  19  l  Idol (IKON) l  Hanbin and Haneul met during Mix and Match era. Hanbin escaped from the dance studio to clear his mind and went to Han River while Haneul was going for an evening jog. Haneul spotted him upon recognizing that he's B.I. At first though Hanbin was a little suspicious of her but when she told him that she's a trainee just like him he finally relaxes. They had a long talk that time about their similarities being the main rapper and lead dancer and that both of them composes songs they even shared ideas and concepts for their future projects and een went as far as to having a collaboration. Haneul had a great time with him and so is Hanbin. Hanbin then asked if they can become friends  and friends they became. The best that is.

Sehun may look cold but once you get to know him he's actually the opposite of it. He's sweet and caring to the people close to him. He's honest although he may look like he's not he is. And he is a romantic person much more of like a the perfect boyfriend typr of a guy.

There's one thing that you will always see in him and that is he is a gentleman to whoever she encounters. 

Although once you get to know him really really well you'll also see that he can be childish too specially around his hyungs (since he's the maknae) and when he didn't get what he wants he'll be grumpy and a grumpy Sehun is a scary Sehun. RELATIONSHIP STATUS » Sehun courting Haneul then becoming his girlfriend after two months of courtship.

INTERACTIONS » Chanyeol brought Haneul to their practice one time and since Sehun is the lead dancer he is stressed with the pressure from their upcoming debut showcase (which is months away) and shows his rude side to Haneul, who is starting to enjoy the other members' comany, causing Haneul to feel bad and leave the room with a sad look on her face. His hyungs though glared at him and told him to apologize for being rude which he didn't want to do at first but with Kris' glare he rushed to where she was and apologized. As a peace offering Sehun took her to the bubbletea shop he always visit and treated her for some bubbletea. They get to know each other better and turns out they will get along well. Sehun asked for her number and she gave it to him. They started to text and call each other(which made Chanyeol jealous XD) until they get closer. Haneul admitted to herself (and Chanyeol and Hanbin) that she likes Sehun but is scared to confess because she didn't want their friendship to end. Sehun on the otherhand was ignorant to what he's feeling and asked his hyungs what that weird feeling he is feeling when he's around you and his hyungs telling him that he's in love with Haneul but just like Haneul he's scared to confess. Until the almighty Chanyeol appeared and accidentally told Sehun that Haneul also likes him Sehun is happy with the revelation and rushes to Haneul, who is inside the dance room, and hug her telling her that he likes her. Haneul, shocked from Sehun's confession, was astounded but she recovered and hug him back. Sehun asked he if he can court her and she said yes. 

Although being careful, years after EXO and months after AEON debuted, they were caught having an evening stroll along Han river. This scandal both have negative and positive effect but mostly positive since they are both loved and they look good and happy together. The fans noticed the sudden change in Sehun's personality, in a good way, after they found out about Sehun and Haneul's relationship status.

Instead of Sehun surprising her, Haneul will be surprising him so she asked the other EXO members' help to decorate their dorm's living room cutely with a huge YES hanging from the ceiling. Haneul then will ask Sehun to have a date so the members can decorate the living room then when they get back from the date Haneul will tell Sehun to ask her again to be his girlfriend then Haneul will smile at Sehun and tell him to open the door then Sehun will see the huge YES then Sehun will carry Haneul and twirls her around.
