Of course, I forgot to write a blog yesterday, Of-ing-course I did.

Oh well, it doesn't matter, because yesterday I had a really good writing day, officially finishing with 1,704 more words that I had at the start of the day! It's certainly not the 3k+ that I wrote on day 1, but I wrote past the daily word count goal, and now I'm super ahead?

It's now day 3. It is 8:10 in the morning, and I've already written 1.2k+ words. Today is the best day in the world. I have never been happier, and I'm not going to stop writing today until my fingers cramp up or I fall asleep on my laptop and completely ruin all of my progress by accidentally deleting it... or giving up and watching X Files, because this is quickly going to become a problem (I watched the first episode last night and I fell in love I want to binge so bad; it's taking everything in me not to).

I don't know when, or even how, this happened, but I found myself bursting with inspiration when I had an epiphany: I'd rather finish my story in November than write 50k words. Of course, I do want to write 50k words, but now that I'm writing whilst focusing more on the actual story and figuring it out rather than the word count itself, I find it shoots up much quicker.
