Haru has the type of body that doesn't gain weight no matter how much she eats. Maybe it's because she has a fast metabolism, or maybe she just would not stop moving. She just recently dyed her hair into gray. cause she thinks having gray hair makes her look youthful. When the stylist heard those words coming from Haru's mouth, she had second thoughts, but when it actually materialised, the stylist actually thought it suits her well.

Haru's style can be decribed as cutesy and girly. She likes crop tops, skirts, leggings, skinny jeans, and fluffy sweaters. Her favorite hairstyles are pigtails and braided hairstyles which she often does herself. Her style at home is not much different from her style outside. At hime she still likes cutesy stuff, infact, she has 8 onesies, 2 of them are characters (namely Totoro and Rilakkuma), 4 are animals (bear, rabbit, panda, dinosaur), and the last two are fruits and vegetables (carrot, radish). She likes wearing these often

Haru is nice and pleasant to the core, like she's constantly hosting a party. She's very nice and polite especially to strangers. She rarely argues with anyone, and is often the one pacifying a bad situation. She's relatively friendly, and she's the type that people tend to approach because of her bright and happy aura. She's very pleasant to people she just met, only showing her oddness when she knows them better.

Contrary to popular belief, Haru actually feels negative emotions. Sadness, anger, jealousy, you know the works. She just doesn't show those feelings to other people. Her negative emotions are a little out of whack compared to her positive emotions. She chooses to be more cheerful, and happy so she could make other people happy. 

You would not want to put Haru over the edge. When you make her really sad, she'll pretty much stay that way for a really long time. She won't show it, but she'll resent you for quite a lot. You wouldn't want to make her angry as well, she will explode like a super volcano. She pretty much turns into a monster (I'lljust leave that up to your interpretation). But you wouldn't have to worry much. It takes a lot to push her over the edge. Most people have yet to push her over the edge.

Haru is very impulsive at times. Though she actively hides her oddness to people she doesn't know well, it often comes out anyway. When you get to know her better, you'll see that she's very talkative. She's rather outgoing, but not as outgoing as some of her members. 

Haru is a messy girl, and everybody knows that. Her side of the room is the messiest one in the dorm. She sheds her clothes like a snake, and bed can barely even be called a bed because it is covered by all her stuff. She's very strange, and sometimes, it leads to certain strange af behaviour. To mention one she practices her dances at 2:50 am. Yeah, she's not exactly the best housemate ever.

background

Haru is the youngest of the three daughters of Minami Hayato and Minami Nanami. She had a relatively normal life. From a young age she's been taught english alongside judo due her parents' occupation. Her life was mostly normal, almost to the point of being dull, so at a very young age, she started exhibiting odd behaviours to entertain herself. She and her sisters were very close, expecially her and Zuki. She looks up to her sisters very much, and her sisters in turn are very protective of her.

In school, Haru was percieved only as a girl with a few quirks. Her weirdness wasn't quite noticed because they were young and more carefree. She was also very nice to her schoolmates, which made her considerably well known in her school. School was merely a breeze to her, being an above average student. 

When she was 12, she realized that she wanted to perform. Seeing all these K-POP groups inspired her to auditon to SM. When she told her parents that she wants to be a K-idol, they were very skeptical, her father did not want his little girl to move across the sea from them. It took loads of persuation, they finally gave in. She auditioned for SM and fortunately passed her first try. Good thing too, she already did a lot of really weird stuff in her hometown that basically made her reputation a little, um, you wouldn't want to know.

Trainee life wasn't easy, especially for a mere 12 year old, but she got through it because of her easygoing attitude. She improved and improved until she was finally good enough to debut. She made a lot of friends, but she soon found that trainee friends are not very permanent. A lot of trainees either quit being a trainee, or move to another entertainment. She did, keep one friend until the end of her training period, ==march hare==, whom she later debuted with. She missed her family and friends dearly, and every year she wished she could go back to Osaka to visit them. Because of this, she worked harder, fueled by the desire to make her loved ones proud until finally, three and a half years of training later, she debuted with 5 other girls in a girl group called alice.

Father — Minami Hayato // 53 // Judo Instructor // strict, protective, supportive // Haru and her father are very close. Haru's relationship with her father is very playful. Hayato supports his daughters through thick and thin. They love each other very much.

Mother — Minami Nanami // 50 // English Teacher // caring, supportive, thoughtful // although their not as close as Haru and her dad, Haru and Nanami are relatively close. Haru views her mother as the kindest person she knows.

Older sister — Minami Aiko // 21 // Theatre Actress // competetive, kind, wise // Haru looks up to her eldest sister a lot. When Haru needs advice, she goes to her eldest sister because she thinks that Aiko is the smartest person she knows.

OLDER SISTER — Minami Zuki // 19 // University Student // sarcastic, protective, cheesy // When they were kids, Haru was basically Zuki's shadow when they were younger, and Haru looks up to her sister very much. Zuki and Haru are much closer than any other family member.

They literally would not leave the other alone, except in special situations. Haru is the leader of sorts of the two, and is often the one forcing the other do new things

close friend/team member — Nam Mikyung // -- // Idol - alice // perfectionist, withdrawn, emotional // they really hit it off when they got put in the same project group. They're not as close as Haru and =the march hare= but they're pretty damn close. Mikyung is one of Haru favorite people to have tea with, even if Mikyung is always late.

Team MAtes — Alice // 29 // Idol - Alice // varying // Haru has always been the "crazy one" in the group. She's often the ringleader of all the weird things ALICE does. And she's also their alarm clock because she's the only person in the world probably practicing her dance moves at 2:50 in the morning.

FAVORITE SUNBAE — Choi Sooyoung // 25 // Idol - SNSD // nice, outgoing, supportive // Sooyoung is the person Haru looks up to the most in SM. It's because she has always been kind and suportive to Haru despite her trainee status. Sooyoung provides a lot of advice to Haru on how she can improve, not to mention, they can communicate in Japanese, which makes Haru feel at ease with this unnie. Even though they only met when alice was about to debut, Haru really likes her Sooyoung-nee. (that's what she calls Sooyoung, basically it's unnie but in japanese)

VOCAL COACH — Ahn Soyeon // 29 // vocal coach // perfectionist, strict, supportive // Haru wasn't always good at singing. She wouldn't have improved this much if it weren't for Soyeon's constant support. Haru would never admit it to Soyeon, but she is her SEOUL parent figure.

how does your character fit this plotline? — If the whole of k-pop is a flower field, Haru is that lone tree standing amongst the flowers. Though she is not sore to the eyes, she's not exactly fitting in. She stands out, and you know why? It's because of her personality. IN the kpop world, people are often high strung and tense. Haru is just relaxed and doing what she loves. Haru does what she does and she does it because she wants to desu!!!!!!! In alice in wonderland, the mad hatter is the who's always chill and bonkers. Well haru is the basically mad hatter reborn! she's chill compared to her members' and is arguably bonkers. 

what does your character think about her role in the group? — she cannot agree more to her role. she thinks that it is the perfect role for her and it captures her personality perfectly. she honestly loves the role system the most among the members of the group because she thinks it represents the group very well, even though a few individuals beg to differ.

what are some vulnerabilities/problems she might encounter while in "wonderland", aka the kpop industry? — she's going to have a lot of problems in addition to the norm problems of k-idols. she knows that there will be one point that most people will find her personality annoying and dumb rather than endearing and cute. of course she'll get pressured a lot to do well, and pressure stresses people out and haru does not get stressed. sheis chill all day everyday, but there will be roadblocks that will cause her lax attitude to falter and change.
