 Her style is really casual. She doesn't like to overdo what she's wearing. She loves wearing long sleeve shirts. Usually when it's hot, she just puts on a simple outfit ex. blue shorts with a loose tank top. She loves tied up her hair. And just some simple converse or jordans are fine with her. She's really laid back. When she's at the dorm or going out, she wears shorts and long sleeves or skiny jeans and tucked in T-shirt. background:

Hyunju was born Jang Gracie Hyunju, in Osaka, Japan. She lived their until she was 2, when her father decided to have his head quaters in Busan, South Korea. When they moved to Busan, South Korea, Hyunju was a bit confused because things were different in Korea. Her first lanuage is Japanese, so it was bit hard for her to learn Korean, at the age of 2. She started to learn Korean when she was 3, so she's grown into the Korean culture. She took Piano and clarinet lessons when she was 6 and stopped playing it when she was 8, where she learned Martial Arts. Martial Arts for her was a bit hard but she made a lot of friends there and built teamwork with her teammates. She got her black belt when she was 12. She was casted in Star Entertainement when she was 11, and it was bit hard for her. Her parents disagreed to the idea of their daughter training. It took them a while before they letted her train. When she was 10, her baby brother was born, she loves him to dealth. She was the one to name him since she was the one who really wanted a dongsaeng.

" Don't eat that! Yah! No jumping on the couch! " Hyunju can be really motherly even though she is the youngest in the group. She makes sure everyone is having fun and is on track. She is known to be The Leader's Little Helper. She is the one in the group, who everyone can depend on. When they are feeling sad or they just need a shoulder to lean on, she would always be there. The members love her hugs, because it feels like a mothers hug. When they need a shoulder to lean on, she would be there to snuggle up with them and rub their backs. When they miss their families, she would make some desserts and homemade food ( well..... like noodles or simple beef rice bowl ). When they need someone to just listen to them, she would be the first one there with a batch of chocolate chop cookies, warm milk, a big blanket, 2 fluffy pillows, and the movie ' Lion king'.

" Hyunnie Oppa! " Hyunju is like a boy at most times. She can be lazy and laidback at times. She is considered the boy of the group, because she acts like one. She doesn't really like the color pink because it's really flashy. She acts like a tomboy most of the time, acting cute, isn't really her thing. She cringes a lot, and loves to play video games. She is really into dancing and video games more than boy would like video games. Boys in Korea loves sports, well Hyunju loves Sports more than them. She will literly curse at everyone when she's watching a game. Other's would think she's a innocent girly  girl but she's the opposite. She knows her sports and video games. 

" Do it again! DO you think I'm playing around?"  Hyunju is really strict and mean during training. She is known to be one of the top role models trainee under the entertainemnt. She wasn't really this strict or mean but over time she developed some bad attitudes. Everyone knows she is just looking out for them and wanting them to reach their dreams but sometimes it goes past the line. She would snap at them when they are playing around and they have an evalutation soon. She doesn't play around when it comes to training. Dancing is her thing so she expects others to be on task. When they are training sometimes, to her older or younger, it doesn't matter. You will work as hard as everyone else is. She doesn't really play favorites, unless you give her food. 

" Aniya ! Unnie's mine !" Hyunju can be childish and really bubbly at times. She doesn't like it when one of her members or close trainees friends are with others. She will purposely go grab them and take them away. She is really clingy to her older unnies, when they weren't training. She loves being on the older trainee's backs because she likes the fact that she now taller. She loves it when she is babied by the unnies because it means that they pay attention to her. She isn't really a person who likes getting attention but if it's from her unnies, it's fine. 

" My name is Jang Hyunju, yo. Jang as in awesome, U-know " When she wasn't training, she was really nice and dorky. she was considered one of the most kindest person on earth. most people would be really shocked if they found out she was one of the mood makers in the group. she isn't all that mean or scary, that's only if she's really stressed out or if she feels like she had to step up her game. when the trainees or members are feeling down, she would purposly make a bad pun joke, just to make them laugh. all the members know that she is one of the nicest member in the group and one of the meanest members. she loves messing with the others to the point they are stressed out by her pranks. she is one of the youngest members of the group, so she is has to have some fun for the meantime.

" Annyeong, My name is Hyunju, you must be..." Her first impression is like a robot. It's like she knows all the answeres and will answer them less than 2 seconds. She wants her first impression to be nice and that others would know that she isn't mean. the other trainees sometimes make fun of her first impression because it reminds them of a robot. They are really monotoned and know every question given to them. She doesn't like it when others ask her a question and she doesn't know the answer, so she practices every question there might be in the world.

" Can you leave me alone? I just need some time by myself " Hyunju can be depressed at times. She is insecure about her height. Compared to other idols born 1997, she is like a midget. other trainees like to make fun of her height at times, because she's always tip toeing to reach some snacks on the shelf. She hates it when people make fun of her height. Others don't know that she has that insecurity because she's so playful and calm. When she sees someone her age, really taller than her, she turns depressed. Around her friends, her friends are only an inch taller than her so it's fine with her. But when she see's someone taller than her, older or younger, she feels  small and weak..

trainee background: She got into the company through a scouting in Busan, in Late July. Her parents didn't like the thought of Hyunju training because she was only 11 turning 12. They decided to take her to the audition because the agent that scouted her, said that looks like she was true potential. She performed Boa's Eat you up, and got in. Her parents decided to let her train because she looked like she was having fun. When she was training, she made new friends and became more motivated to dance. It was really hard for Hyunju during training, because she wasn't used to working as hard. When she took Martial Arts, it wasn't hard for her, but training was more intense. They expect you to be on point and live up to what you love to do. When she was 14, she teared her right ligament, so she had to take a month recovery. But she still showed up to her other lessons. She was a bit sadden, because she really wanted to dance with the others and it hurt her how the others were training their butts off while she wasn't doing anything.

Once her foot was recovered, she started to train a bit. She had to train her foot because it hurted sometimes when she moved it. Her biggest struggle was trying to rap. When they were forced to rap sometimes, she would freeze up and sound really horrible. When she found out about the company turning into Blanc and Eclaire Associations, she was a bit sadden, because she thought she was going to be dropped. When she met Jessica, Jessica told her that she saw true potenial in Hyunju. Hyunju was not dropped, so she continued to work as hard as she did before.

seungkwan has a soft heart. he is really funny and lovable. he makes everyone laugh and happy. he tries to stand out because he is afraid of geting left out. his biggest fear is getting no attention. he is one of the weirdest boys you'll ever meet but you won't regret it. he is the moodmaker of the group because he loves to make everyone laugh and have a good time. without him, it would have been really awkward around the others. he is really loud, to the point it even annoys the louder ones. he is very sassy, he is diva boo. he can be really sassy because he will live up to his name. 

he can be really serious as well. if you talk bad about his mother, he will karate kick you all the way to america. he doesn't mess around with others who talk bad his love ones. when he is practicing or in the recording studio, he tries to be funny to bring up the bad tension between the others. he doesn't play around when he is singing. he wants his voice to be perfect along with his dance moves. he won't stop trying uless he gets it right. he seems like a person, who doesn't give two about you, but he is really sensative. if you tell him, his voice sounds like a dying cat, he will talk back to you and say that he has a better voice than yours. later on, he will think deeply about it and even started doubting himself. he is guiible, when he askes you how to say i love you in a different langauge, and you say the opposite, he will actually believe you. 

first meeting: It was 2 years ago. They met at back school, Hyunju and Seungkwan were paired up together for an assignment. All 1st years were paired up with 2nd years. Hyunju was a 2nd year while Seungkwan was a 1st year. Seungkwan was suppose to be paired up with one of his band mates, Mingyu, but he was paired up with another freshman. Seungkwan was the one to approach Hyunju, she agreed because her friends ditched her. Their assignment was to perform a song, sang by famous artist in Korea. They ended up being good friends during their assignment.


interaction: Hyunju thinks of him as a little brother. They are good friends, they love to mess with eachother. Hyunju is always teasing him of being a mommy's boy while he teases her of being a mommy's girl. They are like siblings,they have eachothers backs. Seungkwan looks up to Hyunju as one of his role models because she is really hardworking. They sometimes meet up and work on their vocals together. Others suggest they should just date, since they are really close. But Hyunju tells them she only sees him as a brother. Seungkwan secretly likes her, despite some others telling him, she was older than him. But he says it can be possible because she is only older than him by a month. They occasionlly hug and mess with eachother.
