Wonhee’s presence is really head-turning, whether by sight, sound, and even smell. You heard it right; her bright personality matches her aura and outer appearance. She’s loud, cheeky, and bubbly to the point that it would always either brighten up or annoy the people around her. i think i have pretty weird taste with my ideal type because I noticed that i like guys who are either mysteriously charming or nerdy adorkable. they're complete opposites but i don't even know why I kinda like fall for those types. also i don't even know if my soulmate would have these traits suited for a mysteriously charming guy or an adorkable nerd, but I honestly hope so! I mean, i got to a least be attracted to my soul mate. though we never know, so what if my soul mate is better than my ideal type? but i guess i don't know for now.

I guess it's not perfect either, since love is most definitely blind and you can easily accept (or maybe even overlook) the flaws of your significant partner or it could also mean the relationship where it has it's ups and downs. I also find it funny and cute that less than three (<3) forms a heart, because in a loving romantic relationship, you don't need a third party and a relationship consists of two people only!

hyuntae has this mysterious bad guy vibe that has a lot of people deceived and most of their first impressions on him are wrong. though they got the quiet part of him correct, but he doesn't have the cold, snobby, i'm better than you attitude that people initially judge of him. he's actually friendly and shy in a way that he doesn't interact first. people who know him say that he looks like a badass but he's actually a weirdo once you get to know him. so he's often misunderstood, for his resting face that is often perceived as glares staring right into your soul and already dragging it to hell. in fact, he isn't that comfortable around people he doesn't know so for him to have decent conversation with you, you must have someone with you that he could trust. whenever people confront him he would always say that he's shy but it always seems like he doesn't care about meeting new people. sometimes people will think he's rude when he absolutely has nothing to say when someone strikes a conversation. only hyungmin and wonhee knows why he's so distant with strangers and wonhee finds it judgemental, the reason is because hyuntae reads people and makes accusations if they are 'worth' his friendship because to him, you may never know if that person is a traitor.

once he opens up to you, you'll see and know how much of a dorky weirdo he is. from uninterested hyuntae comes the guy who taps on your shoulder and hides from you while giggling like the dork he is. hyuntae is caring and sensitive to his friends, and he actually has a big heart underneath all that manly muscles. he understands and symphatizes with friends or family when they're in pain however he doesn't know how to express himself most of the time in that situation, he shows it by hugging or whatever he can think of. sometimes his friends call him gay then while laughing he would be playfully hitting them. he engages in conversations and always inviting his friends to hang out and watch movies because he values the bond and all. so it's really not a wonder at all on how they stand up for him whenever someone badmouths about him.
FIRST MEETING :
the two met through hanyoung when wonhee and her were in good terms, secretly, hanyoung was eyeing on him and introduced them to eachother. as cliche and cheesy as it sounds, it was kind of like a love at first sight where the two were a bit awkward. hyuntae on the other hand was annoyed since he was forced by hanyoung to go home together and he didn't know wonhee much.
while hanyoung told them to wait for her because she had to do something quick, they were left alone. wonhee being the typical chatterbox, she initiated the conversation and commented about how demanding hanyoung was which hyuntae agreed with along with a chuckle. during the hours of wonhee talking with hyuntae listening and even engaging here and there. when hanyoung came back, she could already hear them laughing and said that they should be off to the train. wonhee said her goodbyes while he thought she was coming with them however hanyoung said that the precious lil' princess' tower is just near by. wonhee rolled her eyes to this and said 'well it was nice meeting you hyuntae' to which he replied, 'same here'. as the two part ways, the strings were now visbly seen.

It was only through hyungmin where they actually had closure, and weeks after that they were actually considered as friends again. It was awkward once again but now they were back to being friends.
it didn't really stop from there, because as taeri said that her professor in psychology shared that if ever ex-lovers stayed as friends then it's either that they're still inlove with eachother or the feelings never existed. Now she wonders which of the two it could be.
