I really like this style! The only thing I would suggest is pay attention to your edges, transitions, and blending/masking. Towards the middle left, there's a corner that's showing just slightly, and I don't know if the dark arch in the middle of the two is put there on pupropse or not, but in going to point it out just in case ^^ As for the transition and blending, the paint splatter and his clothes would transition better if you had taken an erase with 30% opacity to it and moved the paint splatter just a bit left.
Other than that, it looks really good! It gives off a very lovely romantic feel, like a romance that transcends time. Your stock and texture usage is really good!
