PERSONALITY:
strict & scary - she is known for being one of the top 3 role model trainees in the company. that kinda lead her to become a bit strict. she wasn't really strict or scary but over time she developed some bad attitudes. when she wasn't training or doing any school work, she would buy the girls ice cream. she was like a child/mother to them. they knew she was only looking out for them during training. when she went to training, she was really strict to the point she would just snap at them. she was like a female version of woozi and hoshi mixed together.
nice & funny - when she wasn't doing any school work or she wasn't training, she was considered one of the most kindest person on earth. most people would be really shocked if they found out she was one of the mood makers in the group. she isn't all that mean or scary, that's only if she's really stressed out or if she feels like she had to step up her game. she's considered one of the bubbly members of the group. when the trainees or members are feeling down, she would purposly make a bad pun joke, just to make them laugh. all the members know that she is one of the nicest member in the group and one of the meanest members. she loves messing with the others to the point they are stressed out by her pranks. she is one of the youngest members of the group, so she is has to have some fun for the meantime.

BACKGROUND:
hyunju was born jang gracie hyunju. she was on december 6st, 1996, in osaka, japan. she lived there until she was 3. her father was a ceo of a company called sou1 music studios and wanted his main office to be in busan, south korea. at first, her mother was quite hesitant but because she missed being back in her hometown as well, she agreed. hyunju was raised in busan for 10 years. when she turned 5, her parents decided to put her in martial arts as well as piano. she got her black belt when she was 11. when she turned 9, her baby brother was born. she was really excited because she always wanted a younger sibling, so her parents allowed her to name him. she named him, hyunkyu. ever since he was born, she promised him that she will always be his guardian angel.
as she grew up, she became protective over him as he became protective over her. they were like twins. he looked up to her as a role model as she loved him dearly. she always loved photography, even if she isn't in the picture. taking pictures of random objects was magical to her. she was never into music even though she learned how to play to piano. her father kept convincing her to dance in his studios so that she would soon take over his business. but she was never into any of that. then she turned 12, she was walking with her father to visit her mother at the cafe. she was stopped by a representative and was told to audition since she had a pretty face. at first, she was against it but her father pushed her into it. she ended up auditioning and getting in, which surprised everyone because they didn't expect her to sing well.
she only tried out training for fun, but she developed her love for music throughout the years. she was taught how to play the guitar and clarinet over the 6 years she has been training. she found it interesting. she attended seoul Performing Arts High school, and graduated 1 years before hand. for her graduation, she got a puppy from the Ceo and named it, berry. When she goes to visit her family once every year, she would spend it mostly with her Mother and brother, learning how to cook. She found it easy to cook desserts and make drinks since her mother was a cafe owner.

she was immediately put in as a trainee through her first auditon. she was a bit hesitative about it but decided to give it a try. throught the time training, she developed her love for music. there was times she wanted to give up because she was too stressed out. her school life and her training life mixed together, was a bit of a burden. she got along with most of the trainees because she didn't want to get left out. over the past 6 years, she was known for being one of the top 3 role model trainees. she is really nice but because of being one of the top 3, she had to get stricter during training. when a trainee would mess up a note or miss a move in a song, she would snap at them. she was like a girl version of woozi, also considering that they were best friends.
sometimes after training, she would buy the trainees ice cream to make it snapping at them. most people would think that she is really nice or really mean, but in truth, she just wants to help you succeed in life. she had an injury in her leg before but it was a minor injury. she put too much pressure of her left leg and her muscles just couldn't take it. she couldn't dance or walk for a month. everytime she moved her left leg, pain would just come back and kick her. but she always showed up for her other scheduels. after a month, she came back to dance practice and had to get used to her leg being a pain. but over time, her leg got more better, she barely snapped at the others, and she was really bubbly, so it was a win-win for both her and the others. more like a win-win situation for the trainees
