{quiet and reserved} Yoko isn’t a person who talks easily about her own thoughts or feelings with others. She always has a lot of things on her mind and most of the time just lacks the words to express her thoughts and feelings properly. That’s the main reason why she’s so quiet around others. The second reason is that she completely doesn’t mind it to listen to other people. Listen to how they tell their stories to her and through that get to know them. It isn’t hard to get to know her. Although she has a very layered personality she easily lets people come close to her. Even though sometimes they don’t even know this or sometimes she doesn’t really show how much she cares for a person since her biggest fear is losing them one day again.

{detailed, smart and patient} Yoko is a caring person and emotionally involved with others. She can see small details in the behavior of others where most of the people will look over it. Her beautiful appearance and rather innocent looking face will probably make you underestimate her. Which is one of the biggest mistakes you can make around her. {caring, naive and holds grudge} Eventhough she learned kendo, she is generally weak in physical sports, except for that handicap, Yoko cares too much for people -in general- to actually cause them harm. She has a strong believe in the good of people and so is easy to manipulate if you really want to do so. If someone hurts her friends, she holds this grudge for years. This can cause her to make rash decisions, and not think twice. 

{indecicive and self conscious} She hates being a leader and making decisions under pressure. She can't make decisions for others. If she gets too angry the tears begin to flow and never seem to stop until she is satisfied with bringing something down. Inside, Yoko hates being talked down to. It makes her feel like she is worthless and can put her in a state where she is completely weak and feels as if her body is made of led. {idol side} She’s extremely friendly to fans, she always give her love and care to fans. She adores music and often show her talents when is ask to show off at variety show. She’s very active on screen and is recognized for her face as well as talents. background 

{the beginning of life and complication} She was born prematurely and weighed in at 4.2 kg at birth. During her mother's pregnancy, water had filled her stomach, which led Yoko to become a premature baby. Bile was unable to be passed through the little baby's intestines, which eventually damaged her liver, causing a biliary atresia. Although the required surgery had low chances of sustaining life, she was able to survive the 10-hour long surgery. A year later, however, she was diagnosed with intussusception (a medical condition where parts of the intestine folds over into another section of the intestine) and received surgery for enterectomy.

{happy little family} Surving the complicated birth  and series of procedures, Yoko grown up healthily but having problem with her weight. Never she has known or seen the other places except from her birth town, Chiba. Only learned about them in her education and through stories she heard. She also never has known the joy of having a mother in her life, since her mother had died during her labor. Her father grieved deeply for this loss but managed to raise his only daughter well. Having a great relationship with her built on love and trust, Yoko didn’t miss anything  that a child needs to have in their development. They weren’t that rich, but not exactly poor either and they always could manage to get enough food for the both of them to keep them satisfied. She never has had a lot of luxury in her life, but also isn’t the type of person to want such luxury.

{the little girl growing up} Her father has taught her everything he knew about life. Showing the world to her on an early age and how it exactly worked. He also had high expectations from her, which Yoko tried to fulfill every time. Leading her to have good marks at school and to soon start and help him with his chores whenever she could. Besides this she also had a basic training in martial arts, specifically Kendo. Her father knew that maybe one day she would be not be in his protection anymore. And thus since her father didn’t want to lose his only daughter, he decided that it only would do her good if she would have a basic training. Yoko went along with this, since she knows the fear her father has to lose her and indeed a basic training couldn’t harm her.

{it was about time} In the thirteen years Yoko has lived so far (before her being a trainee), nothing really bad or spectacular has happened. She has lived a quiet, happy and peaceful live together with her father and a couple of close friends. Only now that she has become of age, she’d like to explore the world some more. To meet new people who and have a new impulse in her life which can even teach her more about it.

Trainee life
{how it begins} She began to work to gain some experience which ended her up as a seller in a shopping complex in Chiba. One of the YG representative took notice of her beautiful visual  when she was doing her work. He proposed her to audition and she noted no at an instant. She was afraid of the fate awaiting her if she choose the unpredictable path, besides, she hadn't know the large influence of YG in the Korean entertainment yet. As he kept on asking her, she finally auditioned the next week and surprisingly passed, credit on her potentials. Her father was once objected this as Yoko will be brought to Korea for training but she finally found a way to explore the world more on her own and the first time, she stood up stubborn and insisted against her father's objection. After a week, she flew to Korea in 2012.

{calmly working} Trainee years was hard because she got to live her life everyday with the same boring shcedule with sweat and blood, it's a battle among the trainees after all. She was not good in singing as she thought and was given an extra class for that. She wanted to give up several time but her friends, was always there, kept supporting till the end. Nothing really major happened to Yoko during her earliest trainee years, since she knew when to bow and is passive, she barely shown herself too much except for the visual she possessed and everytime during monthly evaluation.

{the storm before rainbow} During her later years in YG, she started to get noticed by others and so gaining some haters or people who had been jealous over her. There wasn't a lot of Japanese trainee in YG, besides she is young, pretty and popular among the trainers. The good things had change into the worst, she been bullied by several people which she could barely know. And soon enough there was a transfer series of trainees from YG to MCM in late 2014. Yoko was in the list. She trained for almost a year in MCM before finally getting selected as the final line up for the new girl group.

{first meeting} It happened one day when she was in YG bulding in 2013. She was literally standing right next to Junhoe in a lift. She was scared, she was really nervous because Junhoe is actually her ultimate bias. She didn’t know how to approach him or if she should just give up and ignore his presense. Junhoe was busy with his phone until the lift opened up and he walked out. Yoko walked out too and she felt like he was walking farther and farther away from her till she called out “Koo Junhoe”. He turned around and smiled, nodding to her and bowing in such a respectful manner. She could had just say something but seeing his smile, she was bewitched. She only snapped out of it after Junhoe walked away from her since she didn't said anything else. 

{his feeling} Crushing. As cliche as it is... even they had known each other better and well in 2014. Junhoe started to realized that he had fall for Yoko since ago during the filming of My  Type when he unconsciously staring at the freshly transferred trainee girl.

{love move} Junhoe is really flustered around Yoko and level off the sass and sarcasm. Even though he would be quite shy, He still acts really flirty and he would try to initiate skinship by putting his arm around her or linking their arms as they walk side by side. He never think that he would be into a girl that is really shy. It's definitely harder to be natural and comfortable around Yoko. Since he is young, to ask her out he would just be like talking to himself at first,  “Come on Junhoe, just do it, if she says no it’s her loss.” But would still ask Bobby for some advices. Though everytime he is around Yoko, he would just stutter a bit but as soon as she cracks a smile he would go with the flow.
