So it's that time of year again, September 21st, 2015. I have been doing these posts for the past 2 years but I will continue to do them because each year this man-child becomes more and more special to me. 

First of all I want to thank the parents of Kim Jongdae for bringing this guy into our lives exactly 23 years ago. 

I still find it funny how when Exo debuted 3 years ago I found Chen to be the least relevant to me. I had the hardest time remembering him, whether it be his face, his voice, or even his name (shame shame on me i know lol)

I can honestly tell you though that it's not like that anymore at all. It's gotten to the point where I have enough merchandise of him to make A FLIPPING SHRINE and where I have a thing for the guy's ankles. HIS ANKLES FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. I recognize almost every little detail about him.

And for those of you who dont really have an ultimate bias or someone you basically worship, it's like heaven and hell at the same time. But if you don't have one, it's hard to explain how much they mean to you. I've never met chen. I can't speak his language. The only things I know about him are the things that he's revealed to the public, which probably isn't much. But lemme tell you, he's gotten me out of a lot of things.

Chen, you have the voice, heart, and soul of an angel. You've helped me get out of a lot of personal troubles and without you, who knows if I would even be happy. When life just and all I want to do is cry, it only takes one video of you for my entire day to brighten up. You're so passionate of what you do, and you're amazingly talented. Sometimes I wonder if you're even human (LOL). I really look up to you and I'm so thrilled that you are now able to live your dream. You inspire me to follow what I want to do and to be a better person. You're embarrassingly funny and such a troll, but those are just a few of the reasons why you mean so much to me. You're freaking 23 but you still act like you're 5 for crying out loud. There's little I can do for you when you live all the way across the world, but I can give you all of my love and support. Things have been hard on you but you keep persevering and THAT is why you're as successful as you are now. I know that you, along with the rest of Exo, will become a legacy and will continue to affect the lives of many people. You've already affected mine.

So I hope you have a happy birthday and an even happier life. If things get difficult, always know that Exo-L's are here for you! There's more I want to say but I don't know how to say it. The rest is just summed up by saying thank you and I love you. <3
