TRAINEE YEARS [ ♦ ] 3 and a half years. She moved to Korea when she was 13 in 2011 and auditioned at the age of 14 in 2012.

TRAINEE BACKGROUND [ ♦ ] After being accepted in Pledis Entertainment, she was sadly in a new school; she had to attend Seoul School of Performing Arts, due to the fact she was 14 when she was accepted she needed to go to school as well.

But as an trainee it was hard to balance it for her. She had to go to school in the morning and come back to train her skills. Feeling all the stress within her, Nah-Yeol broke down, she couldn't cope it, she was 14 for gooodness sakes, but fortunately Chan, Soonyoung and Hansol helped her through the way before letting her go through herself.

From then Nah-Yeol thought to herself, that it was fortunate for her to be accepted in the entertainment and made a promise to herself that she needed to become stronger to get her goal as an idol: To be listened to. She had been neglected sometimes with her family and this time, she aims to get a successful debut with her fellow trainees and show the world her talents.

Nah Yeol is a type of girl who says the opposite of her true feelings. She likes to play around with people with what she says, but if she is serious she would drop that act and be very consentrating towards the person . She has the trouble of getting to know people, she doesn't really know what she would have to talk to people about; if she did she would wonder what to talk about; high school? clothes? she has no clue; she is what you call a 'confused talker.' As you gradially know her, she would open up more and people would understand what she's actually talks about; since she mixes Japanese into her Korean sentences sometimes, which causes people to be amused or confused at her way of talking which makes it quite adorable.

 

// Sweet.  She is a caring girl that would do anything for you. She is someone that everyone adores, she is kind and caring. She would cook for others nand would ask them if they are alright when she isn't alright herself.

BACKGROUND [ ♦ ]  'THIS IS MY STORY' 

 

Nah Yeol was living in England, London during her childhood till the middle of her high school years. When she was a child she came across dancing videos on TV, which facinated her and influenced her to dance. As time went by in middle school she actually took dancing lessons in school and after school. She loved what she did, she loved the feeling of dancing with passion, and then at the beginning of high school she got quite intrested in singing as well; mostly preforming arts. During her times in her high school in London ; she joined her school's dancing club and vocal (practice) club. Her teacher taught her from basics till hyer final day in London, however; during her time in london she isn't someone you'd expect, she was someone that no one listens to; no matter how right she is or when she gives opinions on. Her mother's side of the family doens't really like her which upsets her, but she wanted someone to listen to her, other than her mother and father; she wanted to be heard.

When she moved to South Korea; she was quite shy, especially in an new enviroment. A month after being in South Korea, she opened up and got the courage to join dance and singing club and classes. At first she was nervous; she didn't want people to judge her, but she didn't expect people to be kind to her and help her out; thats where she met Jung Jehi. Jung Jehi was her best friend during her times in Korea. They practiced dance together, but not singing classes. But in her school, she was somewhat in the same position she was in when she was in London; she wasn't heard, and no one listened. Here however; is a good start for that change.

As time went by in her high school life; one of her dance friends recommended if they could make dance covers of K-Pop songs on Youtube. Nah Yeol wasn't sure if she wanted too, Jehi persuaded her to do so. They created an account altogether that Jehi made; she was in control of the account. The first song they made a dance cover of 'Troublemaker' since there where also boys in the club they wanted to make them comfortable with it. And gradually they created more videos of their dance covers such as 'Run Devil Run', 'Lucifer', etc... 

And thats when Pledis got interested, scouts have been searching for people to audition, and a scout saw a video of Nah Yeol and Jehi's dance club dancing to 'The Boys' by SNSD; unfortunatly the male dancers weren't in it; only the female dancers. The scout got interested and searched for more videos; as the scout watched most of the videos, he was eager to find Nah Yeol and Jehi to presuade them to audition for Pledis. 

A week later, the scout found them walking out from their high school, he came up to the both of them and offered them to audition in Pledis, Nah Yeol and Jehi didn't know if they wanted to or not, so the scout gave them time, and if they accepted they would just have to go where the auditions were held, but there was a time limit; the scout gave them only 2 days to make the choice. As Nah Yeol went home she thought about the audition, she loved dancing and singing; but was is worth it to audition? She didn't make up her mind until Jehi came over to discuss it with her. Nah Yeol said she wouldn't mind to give it a shot, but Jehi said that she didn't want to go; she doesn't want to be a famous singer or what-so-ever, she just said that dancing is just her hobby; her dream is to be a lawyer not a famous person. Nah Yeol was about to not do it as well, but Jehi convinced her to do it; since she's seen how passionate when Nah Yeol sings, especially when she dances. So Nah Yeol gave up and just accepted to go to the audition. 

When Nah Yeol arrived at the place where the audition is held, she didn't expect many people lining up, so she waited for her turn after a few hours. When a few hours pasted, it was finally her turn, as she entered where the judges were, she was nervous, but calmly relaxed and gave her all at her dance. When she finished, she bowed and looked up, the judges were silent, she took that as a no and left the room. A few days later, she was reflecting back on her audition; she quite enjoyed that feeling of preforming to others, during on her dance club breaks, she had a phone call from Pledis that she was accepted, and needed to go to the building to do paper work and all personal things. She was happy and over joyed that she got accepted, but she had a bit of doubt; she wondered what will she be in the Pledis building, but hoped that everything that she does will pay off.

// Close Friend , Kwon Soonyoung♦ 19 ♦ Idol ♦  sweet, charasmatic, loyal ♦ They met in a dancing/practice room alone when Nah-Yeol wanted to dance, she saw him dancing by himself and decided to dance with him; He was shocked at first, but followed the music with her ♦ Soonyoung is someone that she trusts other than Chan, Hansol or Verina. He is someone that takes care of her well and gives her advice in everything. They are also dance partners whever they dance.

 

// Baby Brother/Friend, Lee Chan ♦ 16 ♦ Idol ♦ charasmatic, cute, playful, romantic♦ They met when Chan accidentally dropped his ice cream on her shirt. Cliche as it sounds he had to make it up to her by buying her a new shirt. Poor baby boy. ♦ Nah-Yeol is Chan's favourite noona among the others within the whole company. He likes dancing with her and always asks for advice whenever he needs it. He also has a very strong eurge to protect her no matter what. Other than that; they are playful siblings, the pair likes doing skinship with each other hence making people sometimes think the two likes each other. Chan would always say  "I would rather date you than anyone"  which causes her to love her little dongsaeng more.

 

// Best friend, Hansol Vernon Chwe ♦ 17 ♦ Idol ♦ Caring, Mysterious, Playful ♦ Nah-Yeol met Hansol shortly after she met Verina. Verina introduced Hansol to her and the also hit off really well. Hansol then began talking to her Nah-Yeol and became good friends after.♦ Hansol is her best friend. Apart from nationality they have a lot of common things about themselves. He would always be there for her as well as the others [Chan, Verina and Soonyoung] He would spoil her a lot and would be an older brother to her.

Since Verina and Nah-Yeol herself were foregin, Nah-Yeol stuck close to her. They hit it off when they first met. ♦ Verina and Nah-Yeol's relationship is really unbreakable. They are like lost sisters that were meant to meet again, Verina has been there for her when Nah-Yeol breaks down or when she is stress. They have each others backs.

// Books/Comics - "Another thing I love other than Ralakkuma Bears are books; story books. I like reading any genre, but my weaknesses are supernatural and romance. Ugh I'm in love with books like that. As for comics, I wouldn't mind any; they are my babies if I finished reading my normal books."

// Skinship (It depends) - "Well I don't mind skin ship, it depends on who it is, or what situation I'm in. I don't mind doing it, especially if its my members or people that I'm close to."

I freaked out when I watched We Got Married: Global Edition Season 1 when Hongki-sumbaenim called Taka (Vocalist of ONE OK ROCK), his voice was so ughhhh I can't even explain. As for the others, I am in LOVE with BTS, EXO and GOT7 songs, their songs makes my heart flutter. BTS' I Need U and For You, EXO's Transformer and Lady Luck and GOT7's Moonlight and Just Right. They melt my heart, to much fan-girling!"

PERSONALITY [ ♦ ] Soonyoung is a sweet ball on sunshine :)) he has a vibrant personality that draws people in and makes them smile. he’s also extremely attentive and caring. with china line especially, whenever they’re having trouble understanding or saying something, he is almost always the one to guide and include them. back when samuel was in the group, hoshi also showered him with love. he’s patient, kind, and hardworking, and we would speculate back during 17tv that he might become the leader of seventeen because of all his great qualities .

RELATIONSHIP [ ♦ ] Nah-Yeol and Soonyong has a very shy relationship. Everyone from SEVENTEEN and TEN knows the pair likes each other; though some are upset why she woud like him [Verina shipped Nah-Yeol with her brother].

Soonyoung is a very cheesy boyfriend to have; he would give her chocolates and expects Nah-Yeol to kiss him for it. She adores his adorableness and would play hard to get with him. Those what she likes about him the most is when he changes when he dances; he turns into a whole new person when he does. It makes her heart beat faster. But what scares her the most is if the fans will accept her with him or not. She doesn't want what happened with Baekhyun and Taeyeon. Whenever she gets worried about things like this, Soonyoung would always backhug her or place her on his lap and play with her hair, soothing her down. She admits its worth it, to get someone like him.

Whenever they are apart; she would always hear her phone's ringtone of Soonyoung spaming her! She admit it can be annoying but its cute how he would always have time to talk to her. They would also meet secretly and be with each other for the whole day; even though there are fans taking photos of them. The pair loves each other; no matter what happens.

HISTORY [ ♦ ] Soonyoung met Nah-Yeol when he was dancing. He didn't notice she entered the dance room until he found a warm bod heat beside him following the music. They created the perfect harmony to this song. And when it ended, he was starstuck. As Nah-Yeol left, he watched her with a daze and hoped he will see her again; and he did, in 17TV.
