I raise my glass…

            … to all those who accomplish without boasting around. Who succeed in their life without turning to people left and right bragging about their achievements.

• You are the real actors

            … to all those who do not simply run ahead, expecting their subordinates to follow. But who turn around and lend a helping hand to those who have difficulties. But those who sometimes walk with and sometimes even behind their subordinates to get them all through.

• You are the real leaders

… to all those who do not have to voice their opinions out loud in order to know that they have one. To those who do not waste their energy with useless arguments with people who will probably not even understand what they want to say. To those who use that energy to speak up when it’s really needed.

• You are the real winners

… to all those who have a smile on their face every day, even if they don’t feel well. To those who gift the world with a smile, no matter how small. Because they know, somewhere in this world, there is someone who needs that smile to get through the day. Because they know that even a small smile can help someone to keep going.

• You are the ones who change this world for the better

… to all those who keep standing up even though they fell down a million times. To those who don’t give up where others would have declared defeat a long time ago. To those who know that life is worth to fight for, no matter what happens. We live, isn’t that reason enough?

• You are the real fighters

And finally, I raise my glass to all those who love and hate, who cry and smile, who scream and laugh out loud, who fight… who sometimes win and sometimes lose.

Because you guys, you are the ones who make that life worth living. You are the colours on a white canvas. You are the melody in a silent concert hall. You are the fire in a cold winter night.

You make that life a life – and not only an existence.
