( What She Used To Be ) : Funny, Comical, Outgoing, Humorous

Tiah used to be a very funny and outgoing kid, just like bundles of sunshine. She has this warm aura where she greets everyone with a friendly and sweet smile. How she greets people? "Oh hello there Twinkle Mr Mr!" She greets them in a comical and witty way that may or may not make you laugh, but you will definitely smile at her attempt. She's very outgoing, she would always smile and laugh no matter what. When she's sad, sure she would feel like crying but in the end - she'll still put up a smile, "Aniya, I'm fine." Hardwork, the mother of success - as Tiah likes to believe. She still possess this trait and often, you would find the young girl locking herself in the vocal room and praticing.

You know that you have truly hurt the innocent heart of Tiah when she refuses to greet people with a smile anymore. She might not know who are you but even if you greeted her, she would just blink before walking away (only to the people in SM Entertainment) Around her members, she wouldn't even make an effort to acknowledge them despite being the youngest. " off, don't talk to me." Such vulgar words coming out from an innocent face, Tia sure do knows how to piss her members off. In front of the camera, which many fans believe that it's Tia's true form, she seems to go back to how she was in the past; bubbly, outgoing and smiley. She would do all sorts of aegyo, "Oppa, Unnie." And only her members know that it's all a lie.

( What She Is Deep Down ) : Sad, Introverted, Depressed, Disappointed

They say that the heartstrings can be broken after a deep emotional trauma, causing the heart to die of a broken heart - it's true. Tiah have never wanted to go down this path of being cold, and ignorant. It pains her to know that she had to forfeit her debut as a soloist and then join 4 other girls to debut. Such an act has bruised her ego and pride, and Tiah would always ask herself if she wasn't good enough. Quiet might be a word to describe her, she feels lonely and she don't understand anything that is happening around her. "How is it possible to feel so lonely when you're surrounded by thousand of people?" If anything, Tiah would runaway and chose to be alone. "Perhaps I'm not good enough."

( 1998-2010 ) : Choi Tiah was born on February 7th, 1998 in South Korea, Busan. She was the youngest daughter of Choi Hanwon and Lee Minyoung and the younger sister of Choi Riah. Ever since she was young, Tia was always the bright kid for she had such a warm family and her parents who owns an orphanage, always showered her with love. Her sister, Riah who was 3 years older than she was, often took care of Tiah. When Tiah turned 5 in 2003, Riah started teaching her how to sing (brokenly) and Tiah was immediately memarized by her voice. Even when Riah was just a mere 5 year old, it was obvious that she had a heavenly voice. Looking up to her sister, Tiah made it her dream to be a singer. "I want to stand onstage." She started schooling when she was 7, in Busan Elementary and because of her bright nature, made many friends. In Elementary school, you would have to pick a curriculuim activity and Tiah chose choir. She knew she had a great voice because the people around her kept complimenting her, boosting her ego and self-confidence. Tiah had puberty earlier than the rest of the girls in her level, at age 10, and because of that - she had pimples and grew chubbier. It was then, her self-confidence went down and she would refuse to go to choir and perform for the school's name. "Eomma! I can't go onstage like that, I can't!" She knew that the moment her face had small little red things growing on it, people wouldn't focus on her for her voice, but rather they would talk about how bad she looked. The Choi's business went down after someone bought over the orphanage and with the money that the Choi had earned and gained after the orphanage was sold, the family of 4 moved to South Korea, Seoul in search of a better life and future. Tiah and Riah enrolled in Anyang High School while her parents started a small cafe that is located in Hongdae, where teenagers would always drop by and treat it like home.

( 2011 - 2013 ) : "I GOT INTO SM!!!" A year after the Chois moved to Seoul, their lives have gotten better and they were richer than before. Which also means that Tiah's once flawed face is almost flawless with the help of cleanser, toner and moisturizer. In Anyang High, she continued taking Choir and over the timespan of 2 months, her voice improved a lot and she stood onstage for more than her age people had. Riah told her to auditioned for SM Entertainment, "For experience purpose. You want to be a singer, don't you?" And so she did, Tiah auditioned for SM Entertainment purely with her voice because her looks weren't that much of a beauty despite having seemingly flawless skin. She sang SNSD's Mom and got in after an hour of discussion between the judges.
