[WIP Update] Keeper's Smial

Thank you for the encouragement.

Still a work in progress...

but I'm getting there.

I added another layer of color to my bushes.

I attached leaves to the vines...

It looks big on the smial but look how tiny I have to make them xD

I now have a pond too!!! Yay!

I couldn't get the color right so I just went on with it. I first layered it with teal polymer clay that I mixed, then added some greyish-blue. Using my needle tool, I drew swirls to combine the two colors. It's kinda scary because I was mixing right on the sculpture itself. Then I added cobalt blue and then another layer of teal.

I'm going to make the mushrooms and succulents in a while. The ball of  clay is so tiny I keep squishing it . So I  stopped.

Non-chan had a hard time attaching the fence, even with the use of FIMO gel. She already pre-baked her sculpture twice already so in order to attach raw clay to it, it requires a binder.

I don't have FIMO gel or TLS but I do have Bake and Bond. However, the latter dries opaque white. It'd be hard to hide that because the pegs are small. That's why until now, I haven't baked my sculpture so I'm extra careful with my fingers because my clay is soft. I can't put it in the freezer for it to harden because mom. Nuff said.

So I'll be doing the fence next after I'm satisfied with the overall look of my smial.

The tree... I'm nervous about tree xD But the tree would be last.

I know I'm crazy for doing this project when I just started making charms two and a half months ago. But if keep skipping projects because they're difficult, I will never learn and I will never get to make them xD

That said, I'll give my Kili and Tauriel another shot after this!

Hopefully, I'll finish this tonight or tomorrow.
